An absolutely amazing place to stay in. Had to go back two more times and still enjoyed it. The staff were friendly. Place was always clean and my needs were catered to. The only con about it was the food as the menu was always the same and definitely would have been much better if they were to be more flexible and provide a wider range of food for the hot breakfast. Otherwise, this is a really beautiful place to stay in, especially for longer periods.

Good hospitality, well prepared food and clean. They are very understanding. Rooms are spacious, have all the necessary essentials. Welkom is known to be a cold area but I didn’t feel that as the aircons were fully functional and we provided with warm fluffy blankets.

I loved their Service, the Breakfast was on a 5star level. The 1 star I am taking away if for their dinner and their menu range. Unless otherwise a perfect gateway B&B

We were accommodated in the old rooms. It was uncomfortable. Breakfast is same menu for 5 days.

Very clean rooms, didn't wait a long time for breakfast to be served, very friendly and welcoming staff. Bedding is very clean. I love this place❤️

I am a mother to a toddler and have been traveling for 3 consecutive weeks with work, when working in Welkom this week I brought my son and helper with me. Sonja and team made our stay very comfortable, they did everything to accommodate our needs. They understand the value of customer experience. Theirs will be a guesthouse of choice whenever I am in the area!

This was an unplanned stay over after our very disappointing stay over the previous night. What a delight and joy. Sonja went out of her way to accommodate us, resulting in our weekend in Welkom ending on a much higher note. A big thank you, we will not forget your hospitality and generosity.

Mantovani is an excellent guesthouse. Overall, their service is excellent. I enjoyed my stay with them. We had a few challenges with water and electricity because of loadshedding/watershedding. But the manager informed us on time and provided a generator during loadshedding. They can work on having consistent backup for electricity and water. Because of loadshedding, the guest house couldn't provide us with breakfast and we were given meal vouchers worth R100 for breakfast. More efforts need to be made to adjust to the loadshedding situation. Overall a great place to stay. Their rooms are clean. Housekeeping is available every single day. However, the bathroom door at the room I was in kept jamming. The manager did mention she plans on doing renovations. I think this will help a lot and will improve the guesthouse.

This place is clean in and outside. Their rooms are so beautiful and as for the bathroom, they are too much. Proper guesthouse to visit. Very beautiful.

Very comfortable rooms, parking excellent, host made a point to notify us on loadshedding schedule(back up lights also provided)

The one thing that holds this place from getting another star is the breakfast that's served in a brown paper bag in your fridge! Really a downer!
