This shop holds an incredible book collections, from classic to bizarre, and the prices are very low. The coffee is amazing the staff are kind ( one of the members of staff just brought us extra water because it was hot!), the chocolate cake is home made and delicious and the garden is beautiful. I can go on forever. <3

Attractive interior with windows overlooking the historic Merchant Taylor’s Arms-houses and Boone’s Chapel. Find a reasonable selection over a sweep of the genres with a smattering of more unusual and specialist items. Unobtrusive service in an clean and bright environment doubling as a coffee shop. The reasonable prices alone justify perusing the stock, the coffee an added incentive. The owner is an engaging raconteur and widely conversant. A potent destination - you’re unlikely to leave empty handed, at worse, better informed.

Excellent bookstore. Bought some rare books and spoke to the owner, an enthusiastic individual. Seems you can get coffee and cakes and eat them there while reading.

Quiet cozy and the owner is a joy. Let me buy his flowers off his table. Books and tea are priced reasonably and it’s overall just an interesting place to be. Would definitely go again.

Needed to buy an out-of-print book for a Christmas gift on the 23rd. I was able to phone the business and arrange pickup the same day - the owner was extremely helpful and quick on response.
