    I have been training here for a few months and I have really enjoyed my progress and experience. Matt and Kevin have helped to guide me towards my fitness goals in a way that trainers at commercial gyms failed to do. They are incredibly professional and experienced in personal training. I also appreciate the payment structure without a membership. In general, I can tell that they care about me and the progress that I am making towards my goals. Overall, training with them has been excellent and I look forward to continuing. I highly recommend Heavy Mettle Fitness if you are looking for a personal trainer in Austin.

    In my 3rd month at Heavy Mettle and can’t say enough about it. Miriam has been a fantastic trainer for me and Matt has been in touch regularly about my nutrition goals. The facilities have everything someone could need and the results I’ve seen so far have been super motivating. I’m looking forward to the results to come. If you’re looking to start a program or take yourself to the next level, Heavy Mettle is the place to do it. This experience has been exactly what I was looking for when transitioning from a public gym to a personal training gym.

    I’ve been going to Heavy Mettle Fitness since August and have seem results that I’d been struggling to achieve on my own over the last several years. Through both a nutrition and training plan I’ve found a balance and routine that works for me. I love that the gym isn’t ever overly crowded and that the sessions are tailored to my abilities and goals. I’m very happy I took the leap and joined. Adrien and Matt have been super and have made this experience fun rather than intimidating. I plan to stick around for awhile!

    I've been receiving personal training sessions at Heavy Mettle Fitness, and I must say that Matt and his team are truly remarkable. Matt attentively listened to my fitness goals and concerns, and with that information, he paired me with the trainer, Kevin. The training sessions led by Kevin are challenging and focused on ensuring correct form while steadily progressing toward my goals. The entire staff is not only welcoming but also very professional. The workouts are readily adjusted to accommodate any injuries. Each training session led by Kevin is an enjoyable experience. I'm noticing progress in a relatively short span and would definitely recommend Heavy Mettle Fitness to anyone seeking outstanding fitness guidance.

    I’ve been with Miriam at Heavy Mettle for a couple months now and have loved the training experience! As a woman who has had no experience with lifting ( or gym equipment in general), Miriam has been very patient but also educational and helped me push for improvement. I’ve seen definite toning in my body and look forward to continue :) The rest of the team is also super nice and the gym environment is very comfortable.

    I am really enjoying my personal training at Heavy Mettle Fitness! Matt was very informative and super nice throughout the onboarding process and my personal training with Drake has been really great! I feel a lot stronger and I know I'm benefitting greatly from the workouts. I could not ask for a better personal trainer setup. Thank you Matt and Drake for a wonderful experience at your gym!

    Heavy Mettle is a great gym. The owner Matt Ryan was super helpful in identifying my individual needs and matching me with Adrien Maggione as my personal trainer. Adrien has been a great coach helping me improve strength and flexibility while also avoiding injury. Thanks to the team at Heavy Mettle! Awesome crew and great personal trainers!

    Really appreciate the professionalism, patience, and flexibility. I signed up in order to establish healthier habits, learn proper form and a different type of exercise than I have done in the past, and work back up to a baseline level of fitness. I'm positive I picked the right place. Have worked with two trainers, plus the initial meeting with Matthew to discuss goals and form a plan. They definitely educate and collaborate *with* you rather than dictating to you, which has been great. Starting from couch potato office worker I know it will be a slog, but after just over a month, I have already noticed that I can do a lot more and I have more energy. The facility itself is small but VERY thoughtfully equipped, and they do a great job of traffic control so that anyone training at the same time as someone else stays fully focused on their own workout. Overall I think the size of the place is a "plus."
