My best trip to the dentist yet! Reunited with my childhood dentist, Dr Leggat (which was a total surprise) - who I hadn’t seen in 25-30 years. First class service from the moment I walked in the door - friendly reception staff as always, and an on-time appointment. Dr Leggat is a fantastic, experienced and gentle dentist who talks to you through the entire appointment and explains everything he’s doing/observing. Perfect for nervous dental patients with higher sensitivity like me! Highly recommend Maylands Dental to anyone in the Perth area.

Justin Soon is Perth's finest dentist. His knowledge, professionalism and care for his clients is without question the finest service I have recieved in my lifetime, at writing this I am 50yrs old. My teeth and mouth have been an ongoing problem for me until Justin sorted them out once and for all, the results of my implants are a great smile, a fantastic bite and a mouth I am finally proud of. Great friendly calm reassuring atmosphere. Reception staff very helpful and welcoming. Dr Ida is very gentle and consultative, and was proactive in managing an issue and referring on to a specialist when it was needed. Technicians also friendly, helpful, considerate and gentle. Dr Justin has a gentle yet assertive dental approach. He always discusses the best avenues for your dental issues whilst being mindful of the costs. He has a sense of humour! My fear of dentist’s has dissipated as he and his staff are so approachable.

This week I approached the Maylands Dental Centre and asked if they could see my 73 year old sister who suffers from ill health and hadn’t been to a dentist in 12 years. My sister has a phobia about attending dental appointments due to unfortunate experiences at the dentist as a child. I was greeted at the front counter by Ewa who listened to my story and concerns and then confidently recommended Dr Anh Nguyen as the best fit for my sister to see. An appointment was made for the very next day. My sister was petrified at the thought of attending any dentist. I showed her a photograph of Dr Anh and this had a soothing effect on her anxiety. The next day my sister was 10 minutes late for her appointment but she was welcomed by Ewa, Dr Anh and her assistant. Dr Anh listened to my sisters concerns and proceeded with delicate precision and constant reassurance from both Dr Anh and her assistant. Dr Anh completed an extensive examination and thorough cleaning. Even though the treatment required is significant my sister is quite happy to return to Maylands Dental Centre and be treated by Dr Anh and her assistant. This is a remarkable achievement thanks to the effort of the front office staff, assistant and Dr Anh. Thank you.

I initially booked in to see Dr Justin Soon to see about having an implant done. Justin said he could not only do 3 implants at once, but it was much cheaper than I was quoted at another place. After looking at my teeth he commented on my rather bulky front bridge which had been done 10 years prior. I had consulted with three other dentists over the years to have it re-done but no one would touch it. Justin not only said he could do it, but he painstakingly spent alot of time to make sure it was the correct look and shade to my other teeth. He was meticulous and the result is awesome!
