They've been closed for over a week because of the Delhaize labour actions and with absolutely ZERO information on when they'll reopen... They're the only decently sized supermarket in a few kms radius, the least they could do is treat customers with respect and be honest about it. Doing groceries at the Carrefour Express is just not the same... not cool Delhaize!!!

Delhaize in general just gets worse and worse. They were already pretty poor regarding vegan products but the few they did have they have just inexplicably suddenly seemed to stop selling altogether. Also they have lately just repackaged a lot of things decreasing the amounts but increasing the prices which were already too high for fairly low quality and stopped selling the cheaper version of things being replaced by more expensive alternatives eg dates. There are about 50 ketchup and mayos yet not a single bbq sauce! They don't even have something simple like gluten free oats! I literally came for like 5 very basic things and they don't have 4 of them. Really wish there was Albert Heijn and Jumbo city over here at least they are better. The supermarkets in England put the ones here to absolute shame.

At the time of visit the store was closed due to an ongoing strike. Do not listen to the sad people who are mildly incovened by this and proceed the review bomb the place out of petty resentment. The store has always offered decent customer service and has a wide assortment of goods to peruse for any would-be shoppers. I wish the best of luck for the workers on strike.

This used to be a great shop. Very friendly employees and decent prices. Lately it seems like they got rid of most of their usual staff (maybe they are still on strike) and prices have been rising ridiculously. Some products are double the price than last year. Every month they add like 5-10% to the price. I know there is the inflation but Delhaize abuses this. Going to Colruyt now (at Evere).

One of the worst supermarkets I have been to in Belgium. Impossible to shop as the shelves are blocked by the staff refilling them… no matter the time of day, yet they don’t always have what you need. Small aisles packed with people. You will spend double the time needed here, take your money elsewhere and hopefully the franchisee will learn to invest in their store

What's the point of the self checkout if the machine does not work properly.- 3 times the person supervising these had to unlock. Not very high tech. Also: 1) expensive relative to lidl, without a superior quality 2) personnel is friendly only if you speak french

I used one of their self-checkouts that ran out of paper and didn't print out my receipt, so I approached their security officer explaining what happened. He made me stand at the exit gate while accusing me I'm shoplifting and offering no solution other than paying for my groceries which I already did. I had to initiate contact with another employee who confirmed in 30 seconds that my groceries were paid for and I can leave. No apology was offered from either of the staff.

Randomly closed on a Thursday morning. Lost valuable time going there just to find out the staff is striking outside, laughing at the customers trying to enter for some reason? Poor organization.

Like most Delhaize, recently it became quite messy and bad organized. Too many products in a small place, little space to move on peak hours. Products aren't always stored following a logic and sometimes it's hard to pick them or even to see them on the shelf, being covered with other layers temporarily placed there. Surprisingly, you'll often find its employees working on peak hours, making the shopping experience quite bad.

I bought cubes of chicken breasts in promotion 1+1, today wanted to use the second package so that I don't use it at the very last expiration date which will be on 12th September, unfortunately already now 3 days before the expiration day the meat has been completely spoiled and I have to throw it. I expected a better quality from Delhaize.

Great store that reminds me somewhat of a normal American grocery market (of the likes of Publix, Hanaford, BigY, Stop&Shop). There are wide shopping lanes and spacious layout of produce. There is a wide selection of products and a self checkout area that also works in English. My only criticism are the high prices (highest of any store in general I believe).

They announce the promotion but they don't have the products for sale. The shelves are always empty even the first or 2nd day since the promotion starts

I usually don’t write reviews for supermarkets.. but this one has an amazing sushi! They prepare it the shop and the quality is really really top! If you pass by and you like sushi.. try it! They also have edamame, for the Japanese lovers!

Standard Delhaize, more visually attractive than others, only great thing is that you can refill your liquid hand soap

Quite big Delhaize store. One unique feature of this store is the live Sushi and Asian food counter inside. You can buy freshly prepared Sushi from here. Number of automatic payment terminals for self-service. Huge parking space inside. You can also park outside on the road with parking disks. Credit cards, bank cards, ticket restaurant card are accepted. Positive atmosphere overall. Old Plus cards are replaced by new SuperPlus cards

I like this supermarket, I find that they have some more options than carrefour. I am new il Belgium so I don't know so much about them. I think Delhaize is more expensive too but if you are careful they have some products at similar price than carrefour or Colruyt. I have been twice here and it gets quite busy

Good place to shop even for foreigners like me. Everything a Finn might need is available also there.

This is a grocery store where you can do both urgent high-speed errands or relaxed discovery shopping! Best all-round shop in the squares quarter!

Nice, modern, well laid out store and plenty of parking. Lovely helpful staff.

It's a nice shop, normally well stocked (though there's been times when they've not had a product for weeks, right now for example there's no way to buy canned tuna in oil and it's been like that for a month...) Like any other shop from this brand, it's a bit more expensive than other brands but the product quality is good. If you have a customer card you can benefit from offers and discounts, which is very nice, and they try to promote healthy shopping.

Probably the best Delhaize that I have ever visited + they have free EV charger for their customers which is a big plus!
