I've been coming here for over 7 years . Oleg the nurse practitioner is the best. Oleg talks with you, not over you as most doctors do. The practice is a assembly line of prescribing pain relief medications and pushing injections in the surgery center. It's all about the almighty dollar there .

I have been going to Tampa Relief Pain Center for years. I never had any problems. Well that has certainly changed. I have been going to Dr Rivera. I am coming back for another procedure because I am in severe pain. He said that he had sent the medication to my pharmacy to reduce my pain. So, of course, I called my pharmacy to see if anything was called in. They said no. Then I tried to call the office. So frustrating, they never answered the phone. An answering service answered in the middle of the day. The service said all that she could do is FAX a message to the office. Crickets. I heard nothing. No phone calls, texts nothing. So the next day I called the pharmacy…..nothing. Then at 11:00am during regular business hours I called back. Answering service eventually picked up. Again, said all she could do is send a FAX. So what’s the problem? I believe they care nothing for their patients. They care so little they don’t even want to talk to you. My primary told me to go to a pain doctor for my severe pain. I only have hope and pray that I can get some relief soon. This severe pain has been going on since against. Please help me.

I love the office and I love Pearl. But in Tennessee a Nurse Practitioner can call in any prescription as long as they have a DEA number. My husband recently had an appointment with Dr. Piezsel, he had an emergency so my husband saw Pearl Fox. His prescription wasn't sent in. My husband was told that the Doc had to sign off on it. My husband works out of town and won't be back for 2 weeks he is now without his medication till he comes back home. My suggestion is if the Nurse Practitioner cant approve the scripts hire another MD!! To me people come to get pain relief but we are getting the run around. If course he doesn't want to work out of town but he had to so he sets up his doc appointments for when he he comes home every 2 to 3 weeks

Had a very frustrating second visit. I’ve been suffering from neck pain since august and was finally referred to this place. It was only my second visit and it was exhausting. First off, I’m a full time college student and a worker. Today was my only day off, so I scheduled my appointment at 12:45 so that i could have the remaining day to catch up on school work. I even got there 15 mins early just in case. I kid you not, I sat in the patient room until 2! And I still wasn’t seen. I had ONE lady come and take my blood pressure and that was it. The remaining time I was waiting and waiting and waiting. I understand that doctors have other patients, but don’t schedule me at a time where you won’t even be able to see me until hours after. Seems like they clearly over-scheduled because there were also other people in there who haven’t been seen. Just seems ridiculous to be waiting in a doctors office for over an hour and still haven’t been seen. I’m sorry its just I’ve got things in my day to do, I don’t have all day to be waiting. Seems like they have no sense of urgency. And then the lady I spoke to first to express my frustration(calmly) was rude. She gave an attitude saying well he’s got other patients. Like yeah I get that, but if he can’t see a patient every hour, then don’t schedule one every hour. Bummed because I’m just trying to find treatments for my neck and it seemed like they just didn’t care.

So I have been a patient of Dr. Goels at Lakewood Ranch, Florida for several years. All of a sudden, the nurse practitioner Amy changes my prescription and turns my life into a nightmare. I was told that the original prescription I was getting would be filled by a comparable prescription and when I went Publix Pharmacy , they did not even carry it. Which was another nightmare! They no longer care anything about their patients well-being find another place to go too because Tampa Pain Relief does not care about their patients.

Who is the Owner, I was impressed with Dr Rivera with doing my procedure but now he will NOT fill out my SHORT TERM DISABILITY PAPERWORK. I had Surgery I had stitches and was told that it could take up to 3 months to heal. Last week Denise the office manager said that Dr Rivera told her to tell me that he will not fill out my paperwork. His NP Stacy told me the same thing at my visit this week, but when Dr Rivera walked in the room, he said no? Just print the Dr’s notes and send them to the insurance company. After the surgery Denise said that Dr Rivera said that I should heal in 2 to 3 days and then go back to work. Well I did that. I was sent home I couldn’t function at work.. leaving the office after my follow up Tuesday ,Stacy said that she and Denise would sit down the next day and come up with a plan. I waited to hear back from them until later in the day, finally I called I was told that Stacy left in the afternoon. I was told today by Stacy again today that Dr Rivera spoke to one of the other drs and that Dr said that it should take up to 10 days to heal. Which is it ? Then Stacy said that Dr Rivera said that he will not fill out my short term Disability paperwork. When I saw Dr Rivera On Tuesday, he told me that I was a category 2 and that means that It could take up to 3-6 months to heal. He said that with this procedure some patients heal quicker than others but not in my case. In my presence on Tuesday,Dr Rivera told Stacy to get his visit notes and send them to the my insurance company. Now everything has changed AGAIN. I’m fed up and I have been told to take it to another level, I am very very sore still and can hardly walk. I was told by Stacy a few weeks ago that Dr Rivera’s said do not do anything until I see him during my follow up 1 month after the procedure None of this back and forth makes sense. I’m a worker and not a couch potato. I just got the word on TUESDAY, that NOW I can start slowly and go swimming, Im so confused right now with this back and forth, he said and I said which has been going on for ALMOST 1 month.
