The property has a new manager. She brings a lot of energy and enjoys interacting with the residents. She does not sit behind closed doors as the previous manager had. Cortland has also brought on a new maintenance supervisor. He also has great energy and has made a commitment to bring the property up to Cortland standards. There are plans for adding a fourth member to the maintenance team. This will be a positive move in keeping the property up. The changes recently made in staffing have already shown to be a great plus for the property as compared to previous. If the trend continues I will definitely return to referring family and friends to the property.

Staff is very friendly and it has been quiet so far. We have been here almost a month now. It is a great location, you are near everything! We had issues so far that are maintenance related but most were solved the next business day. There were things broken or not working when we moved in. If a cleaning crew came in they did not thoroughly cleaned. I'm not sure of the state of the unit before the last tenant left to know if they cleaned anything at all. The lint trap in the dryer was so full it was almost stuck in the dryer and dog hair was caked on some of the doors and on the ceiling fans. There is dust on the vent in the bathroom that the painters just sprayed over it. I am glad maintenance got these things fixed right away. Other than the issues we have had it has been great place. The gym needs to be updated or the equipment needs fixed/replaced.

I just wanna say how amazingly professional and organized the apartment is as well as the cleanliness that came with it. The women that work there that I had spoken to are extremely diligent and always looking for a way to better the environment and the community that they work in. The maintenance are also thorough. The way they handle business is how every place needs to be ran!

Cassie was so welcoming during my tour and she really knows her stuff! I loved the pool & the location is perfect. She went above and beyond, to make sure all my questions were answered. Very patient and kind, highly recommend!

After an exhaustive search Heather showed us the most beautiful apartment, the floor-plan was exactly what we had been looking for. The grounds and amenities are top notch, we loved the pool. The customer service and responsiveness to our needs is unmatched. Thank you Heather!

We have been living at Cortland/ Winthrop West Community for about a year now, we are moving from one apartment to another, its been a great transition. .First and foremost the Service Manager Anthony and his team are AMAZING!! They aim to please!! Brittany is the Resident Manager is absolutely AWESOME! She is always courteous and greets everyone with a smile ..The girls in the front office are helpful,respectful as well as everyone within Cortland/Winthrop West!! Just wonderful living here. I came from a horribly, mismanaged property down the street. Winthrop West has redeemed my faith in good people.the PM ladies are so wonderful and I pray to God all 3 of them and the maintenance team stay! The team knows their residents, provide weekly, monthly and seasonal community events. The pm staff are professional and very positive in working with residents to make sure each tenant quickly has what they need. This is a rare environment! Neighbors are friendly and speak and dog owners are very responsible in picking up after their dog. The apartments are well maintained and quiet. Very well managed property. So very glad I chose to live here.

Mr. Rains did a great job! Seems very knowledgeable and I appreciate him taking the time to get this done. Very quick and efficient. A plus, or 10 out of 10 service! Excellent, definitely recommend if you want to live somewhere where people actually care on upkeep and maintenance.
