Ya see, I’m not a free labor type of gal, and I would loveeee to have the money I deserve for working in your cafe. Also, you may wanna clean up the place a little, a lot of the things in that cafe definitely don’t reach health and safety standards. Just a little tip since you were so eager to take the tips we earned and use them for yourself! Also you may wanna stop encouraging cooking the bacon in the microwave, or you may get sued and have the pay with the money you don’t have. *update* It has almost been a week since I left the first review. Chuck, I know you’ve seen it. You responded to all the other reviews, you’re just a coward. You’re literally over your 50s dude, own up, grow up and pay me like I deserve. A little backstory, I was training at Canes to be an employee. I quit because Chuck, the Owner, was a suspicious character and has no clue how to run a store. It has been over a month since I have quit and I don’t have the money I was promised for working there. Dude, just pay me my money and I will delete my review. *update* Chuck. Bro. It’s been over a month. I know you’re broke but all I’m asking is at least $150 for wasting 20+ hours of my life at your café. You can pay random music performers but not your own employees??? 🤣 you’re an actual joke.

I've driven by so many times, but friends were in town, so now I had a reason, since one requested a Cuban sandwich. It's small, seating is against the walls due to Covid 19 seating restrictions, so we sat outside. The drinks: a Raspberry Iced Tea, a Frappe and a strawberry Italian soda, we're all very refreshing and nicely priced. We ordered a Cuban and two of the steak, cheese and bacon pies and we were impressed, well we thought the doilies were unnecessary, but the food was amazing. The flavors were so rich and yum that I even brought some home to my family and sausage rolls for breakfast. I'm a fan!

My daughter and I loved coming to Canes. We hadn’t been in for a while and when we stopped in today it looked different and unfortunately when I got my drink (I ordered a hot one), it was cold. I got the feeling that the original owners are no longer there. Very disappointed!

They really do have the worlds best cup of coffee. Cold brew over ice with milk and you are set. Thank you!

I was in Palm Harbor for a conference. Lattes and breakfast are my thing. I searched for best breakfast near me and Cane’s coffee popped up! I was intrigued on their website that they focused on community. The first day I came I met the owner. So kind. The staff so accommodating! They opened this cafe to purposely create a space for the local community to come together, including the local high school. What I ordered was delicious! Great organic coffee latte and yummy egg croissant sandwich. I came back the second day because I enjoyed the food and latte so much and just as much the welcoming feel of this gem of a cafe. Don’t miss out on some great food and coffee and a chance to connect!

My home away from home. I’ve never had an Aussie pie. Great coffee. Amazing food and the staff are some of the friendliest around. Second time in 2 days. I’ll be back!

A childhood favorite of mine was salami on a creamed cheese bagel, and it’s something I haven’t seen sold anywhere else but here! My go-to is their Stormi Bagel, and an iced coffee. All their drinks are DELICIOUS, but I’ll usually get an Al Capon or a tasty recommendation from the Staff. They sure know their stuff!❤️ Every single person there has been very welcoming, and are sweet as can be! A really lovely, local coffee shop! I don’t live particularly close to here, but I always make an effort to stop by when I’m in town :)

I think this place has changed hands. Menu has been downgraded, no presence of Austin's anywhere. Tables are dirty, fat man owner in corner doing not much while women behind counter working, floors dirty. It's lost its co vibe. If it's new owners, y'all need to step up

Yummy place to grab breakfast! Went based on reviews, we live in trinity and we're heading down to honeymoon for a day trip. Stopped here and glad we did! Amazing combinations of coffee, fresh bagels, donuts and waffles. My family and I enjoyed a cold brew, Bagel sandwich, donut and waffle and everything was delicious 😋 Solid music choice 👌

Very yummy coffee and also very friendly staff. I got two americanos and a caramel frappe. The Carmel frappe is delicious with good quality caramel. The little cream cup to go is adorable and has a cover and doesn’t spill.

Just moved here and fell in love with Canes. I’ll never go back to a big chain coffee shop. Only place I don’t need to use my GPS to get to. Great breakfast food, better coffee. From a small town and they sure make us feel at home. Can’t recommend enough, I’ll never shut up about this place.

Waited about 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches, got home and was only given 2 sandwiches both of which had basically raw bacon. Tried to call and just have them refund the third one I didn't receive and the number doesn't work. I wanted to love this place but I don't think we will be going back. Also the way the owner (I assume) spoke to the girls working made us so uncomfortable.

Breakfast sandwiches are very good. But be prepared to wait 30 minutes for your drink and 45 minutes for your sandwich. Front seating area is used for restaurants storage so hope you get lucky with one of the 4 seats directly in front of the restroom. That all the customers seem to be running to and love to leave the door open to air out just as your taking a bite of your sandwich. No 👎 thank you.

Fantastic atmosphere unbelievable food at a great price. Waitress was absolutely fantastic, helpful and very good dealing with the customers. Would truly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.

I went there hoping for a Sunday morning coffee and breakfast place, which was good, the place got real busy and the owner stood there and watched the young lady get overwhelmed cashing people out, cooking and making coffee. We felt as the owner he should have stepped in and worked harder than the employee. Not a good scene as people were leaving and complaining and we was making excuses. We won't return because of that.

We went here because there wasn’t a Starbucks on the way and we’re glad we found it. Martin was very friendly and the service was great! Honestly the best latte and breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a while, we will definitely be coming back again!

Canes Cafe is a true gem in our community, and I’m grateful to Martin and his team for honoring the Cafe founders’ values of serving tasty, high quality food and drinks at excellent prices, always with a warm smile and friendliness. Bagel sandwiches, paninis, donuts, waffle ice cream bowls, a great variety of coffee & caffeinated beverages, and more make the Cafe a terrific spot to refuel and recharge in Palm Harbor.

Really cute shop! From other reviews, I understand it's changed hands recently and there have been some hiccups. But I had a nice time. Everyone was kind to me, and the coffee I had was delicious! Looking forward to coming back and eating here as well.

I’ve had the Turkey Bacon Belt and the BLT sandwiches from here before and they are very delicious! Honestly the perfect place if you’re looking for a nice pressed sandwich to go. Came in for breakfast today and got 2 bagels with cream cheese and a medium mocha frappe and it took a little while. Really not sure how it takes that long to toast 2 bagels…there was only one person working so perhaps the issue is staffing. (I’m not impatient myself but I had my kids with me). Also they didn’t have all the items on the menu (would have got a donut too) because they are under new ownership. Anyways when the food arrived it was well worth it and the frappe was excellent. Can’t complain too much because the food is good but hope the new ownership eventually has the same menu selection as they had before and staffs enough people to make it less tedious. 4/5 stars

I’ve always passed this place and finally decided to try it the other day and I’m not addicted! Their waffles are to die for and my son loves them and don’t even get me started on their frappes!! So glad I finally tried this place and it’s definitely my new spot to get coffee from!

Great bagels and coffee, and it was a lot faster service than I’ve had at some other places.

This is an awesome little coffee shop. The staff is always super friendly and a lovely to deal with. The food and coffee is always fresh and delicious.

We go here every Saturday morning with my family. The coffee is always amazing and the service is even better! The family who owns this is so kind and you can tell they make every cup of coffee with lots of love. I 100% recommend you start grabbing your coffee here rather than Starbucks, you’ll get better quality, better service, and you’ll be supporting the local communities economy!

Not sure what happened to the steak n cheese meat pies but…they USED to have generous helpings of the meat AND the cheese!! Now they are mostly just the pastry with very little meat and hardly NO CHEESE! Seriously….cut one open…the cheese is like one squirt in the corner…so disappointing…used to be a twice a week stop
