This beach is beautiful! It is definitely warm enough to swim in. They definitely aren't lying when they say it is the shark Capitol of the world. We saw so many sharks when we were there. I think the sharks were migrating. There are plenty of restaurants near by. My only advice is dont go too deep, download a shark tracker app before you go, and keep your personal items on you if they're important.

New Smyrna Beach is an absolutely perfect little slice of beach life. My wife introduced me to the beach life several years ago. This is our Magic’s little place. The beach is clean. Driving passes are available to nonresidents for &20. It’s a beach perfect for lots of activitiesβ€” surfing, fishing, walking, or just relaxing.

Nothing like a stay in New Smyrna Beach to relax and take a mental break. So many quaint shops, restaurants, hotels and apartment rentals. Always a great atmosphere and fun beach. Can't get enough of it.

Nice hotel. Very nice staff. Very nice King size room. Loved the ocean view! Watched a rocket launch this morning from the hotel. Really food restaurant too. Ate down the road at JB's Fish Camp last night.

The waters were full of waves, perfect place to surf or kitesurf. The only downside is the beach has way too little space between the water to the pavement. When people pull up during the afternoon, it gets crowded with people and cars real quick.

Great place to vacation. Like many others have mentioned, the beaches are vehicle accessible up until a posted time. People here are very friendly, and there's lots of great places to go. This places also has a lot of really good places to eat at, I'd definitely recommend The Breakers if it's your first time there, and sitting at the windows for the beach view. Place can be quite packed at times obviously, the pictures were taken on July 4th. The beach itself is usually pretty packed around high noon to about 4PM. Place has pretty frequent events, whether it be a wine walk, live music, or other stuff. Nice little town I'd recommend checking out and the food is a great bonus here.

My wife has been going here since she was a kid. We have a blast every time we go. There are plenty of lifeguards on duty. You can also drive and park on the beach for 20 bucks. I know you can buy an annual pass in case you plan on visiting multiple times. It's usually a pretty clean beach. They have trashcans spaced out pretty evenly throughout the length of the beach.

I highly recommend visiting New Smyrna Beach!! I love all the beaches in Florida but I am most drawn to NSB. There are really great surfing and fishing spots. So many easy access points. By far one of the best beaches to visit.

Wow this beach was really nice. Accessible from downtown Orlando. Visitors can park their car on the sand. Water was extremely pure. Seawaves are enough for surfing. And I met cute turtles by coincidence!!

Nice beach with chill vibes! On the weekend, would for sure suggest getting to the beach before 10am. If you go any later than that, you will have issues finding parking. We were lucky and patient enough to find parking right by the dock after looking and driving around. Once on the beach we had no issues. It was very relaxing, great place to chill, read a book, and enjoy good company. The water is not very clear so make sure to start alert because there are sharks that like to get close sometimes. We will be back!

Disappointed. Way too busy and loud. Felt more like a huge trashy party. Cars are able to drive on the beach which is nice for accessibility but not nice for a peaceful vibe. It's all about what vibe you're looking for. I would say it's worth it to drive down to Cocoa beach if you want a peaceful beach vibe!

It is really a good place, only one hour from Orlando, no need to take the West I-4 which is a nightmare at any hour of the day, the only thing with New Smyrna Beach, even when I'm giving it 5 starts, I have to complain that there are not enough bathrooms

Nice white powder sand. This area you can drive on the beach. Be prepared to pay for parking. Beach parking $20.00 a day unless have a yearly pass. We park on the beach sometimes. Summer parking is very hard to find.

This quiet community on Florida’s central East coast is the perfect weekend or vacation getaway. There are a plethora of accommodation options, wonderful beaches and several excellent places to eat and drink all without the crowds.

A wonderful place to get into the ocean! Very pleasant; with tide pools, vehicle access, and showers nearby! If you want to be able to drive on the beach and find some nice beach front, this is the place!

Such a beautiful beach. We didn’t notice a single piece of litter and love a beach you can drive on. Wonderful way to enjoy a picnic and appreciate life.

One word...Lovely....the beauty of the reflection of the night lights, the smell of steak grilling from Texas Cattleman, the community theater and the parks are Lakeland's finer enjoyments of Life. Go take the Time to stimulate all your senses and stroll around the lake.

Beautiful beach! I have from UK never experience warm water unless abroad. Cute little fishes get swept around you. Sand is nice. Great day out!

Beautiful drive on beach. Makes things so convenient! Beach is clean and plenty of room to spread out and maintain your own space. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean and peaceful beach, if it's windy, prepare yourself to be sandblasted though. It's definitely a fun experience.

If you're Volusia County resident - make sure to get the annual parking pass. Go further north for quiet 🀫 Beautiful and friendly area...also great umbrella and chair rental place! Get there early for a great spot and parking!

It is always a treat to come here to relax and enjoy. This is the sunrise which a storm stopped from being seen more this particular morning. I personally love this beach better than any other in the area. The shops and restaurant here are amazing and more down home feel which I like.
