Will not recommend! Slow service! The company trust C. Douglas to manage this establishment. The day before my appointment I came into the establishment to schedule a diagnostic test while explaining to L. Garcia about an issue I was having. I clear as day stated my car will shake when coming to a stop … and wanted it fixed. She stated it could be done as long as they had the part— it can be done the same day. Than my appointment was BOOKED. My appointment was @ 8am didn’t hear nothing about my car till after 10. When I got my car back after 11am I was still having the issue which caused my concern - explaining to C. Douglas my frustration he explained that I will have to pay for another test to be done to my car. Confused because that’s what I thought I was doing before when I set my appointment with Miss Lisa. Explaining myself over and over again I asked Clayton do he understand me - in front of other customers he said he wasn’t trying to because of my frustration. Sitting in a tire shop since 8 AM with two small children - no estimated time.. and what I needed was not done. I would think fire stone will hire somebody that has that kind of understanding when it comes to that. Especially a paying customer that paid for the service. Didn’t feel valued as a person and a customer. I left in tears and a few hundred dollars short with a problem that was not fixed or addressed properly.

Excellent service at a fair price. Job was done exactly when promised. Courteous staff as well. Edit: turns out they didn’t tighten my oil filter. Oops. Guess it’s good it didn’t completely come off and drain my oil on the interstate.

This shop used to be our go-to shop. Always friendly staff, job done right the first time at a reasonable (not low) cost. Unfortunately it seems to have taken a turn downward in the past year or so. My main complaints... 1) No one ever picks up the phone. I can't call to make an appointment or check on the vehicle. 2) When I do talk to people they sound like they are stressed out and hate life. 3) Every repair I've had done in the past was always done same day - not anymore. 4) Recent repair to my mom's vehicle (which she depends on because she's disabled) failed within one week causing power steering fluid to spray inside engine compartment. The shop did repair the problem and only charged for an additional part they needed, but when it failed again within a couple more weeks, it turns out it just needed a new belt the whole time. I hope things get better since, like I said, this used to be a great place for any car repair.

Avoid at all costs. I took my truck to them 3 different times regarding a grinding noise and braking difficulties. They couldn't find the problem. I took it to a different shop and they figured out in 20 minutes that it was a loose wheel bearing. Pretty easy stuff to diagnose. Also pretty dangerous to drive with.

I had superb A1 top notch service back in 2019, so I thought I would take my car back there again for some AC repairs. Well that was a big mistake on my part. I originally went to a Firestone location in Tampa to have a compressor put in last summer. Over the year my AC wasn't working that well, thinking it was something wrong the compressor that was installed last summer. I made an appt a week and a half in advance at the Pinellas Park Firestone location. I dropped my vehicle off the night before so they would have my vehicle first thing as my appt was for 7am. A technician called me approximately around 930am and said he couldn't find anything wrong with my AC. I asked him to check again and went into detail on what was happening. He said he would take another look at my vehicle. Approximately around 1145, I received another call from the technician saying he still didn't find anything wrong with my AC. I asked him if it could be faulty compressor that was installed last summer. He said it could be but I would have to take it back to the Firestone where I had it installed at. I mentioned that all Firestone locations honor each other's work. He proceeded to tell me that he doesn't deal with those vendor's and he also has several other vehicles that need AC work. I said well that's the reason I made an appt so I could have it fixed and not waste 6 hours without any outcome. I told the technician I would pick up my vehicle within a few hours. I picked up my vehicle and started driving. The AC was still blowing warm air intermittently as I described to him. I also had an AC temperature gun and the AC was blowing 80 degrees. Pictures will be attached to show. I immediately called them back and told them the issue. I was once again told I must go to the location on where I had the compressor put in. I explained I'm not driving all the way to Tampa when I lived here. I was also told I could bring it back to them to diagnose the issue. I said I already went 6 hours without a vehicle and you couldn't be bothered on trying to fix the issue so I'm taking my vehicle somewhere else where they would want my business. That same afternoon I called the location on 9th Street and made an appt for the following week. I dropped my vehicle off and within 2 hours I received a call back from the technician diagnosing the problem. I will submit invoices from both location's. I do believe the location in Pinellas Park didn't want to be bothered because they didn't want to eat the cost of the new compressor if that was the issue and deal with the problem. They lost my business and a great transaction because I had the service done at the 9th Street location with no issues.

This Firestone has possibly the worst customer services I’ve experienced at a mechanic shop ever. The service desk staff is beyond rude and dismissive (both of them completely ignored me as I walked in and the second one talked down to me when I asked a question) as someone that is not well versed in this subject, I expect a bit more professionalism and understanding. Not treating me like I’m stupid for asking questions. I’m gonna have to find a different Firestone to go to even if I have to drive further away.

If I could give no stars, I would. They weren't ready for our scheduled appointment (I get it, you get busy). Once my car was done and pulled out front, it took at least 20 minutes for someone to even go and get my paperwork, even though they knew I had been waiting. The man who checked us in/ out was RUDE and barely acknowledged me. I wouldn't have even bothered to do this review ( I usually only take time to review great experiences) BUT... Before I left, I checked to make sure they put my donut spare back in my trunk. I just took a quick glance and saw it was there. 2 weeks later, when we were leaving town, my husband went to check the pressure in the spare. It was completely shredded. None of their employees bothered to mention it. I could have been stranded. So, our trip was postponed. I was told that they "don't sell donut tires ". That's fine, a lot of companies don't. But perhaps mention this to someone who entrusted you with their car. I would walk or crawl anywhere else rather than use this Firestone.

My first ever visit to this location ever, and it will surely be my last. No one answers the phone, and when they do, they immediately put you on hold. If you're lucky, you won't get hung up on the first time like I did. When I went to check the status of my vehicle after being on hold for 10 minutes, and when Drew finally answered the phone, it was with an annoyed sigh. When I politely requested an update on my vehicle, this is what I was told: "I don't know. I haven't left the counter in four hours, I have a line of people standing in front of me and more people on hold. Whenever I'm able to leave the counter, I can call you back." Drew was equally rude to my coworker. If customer service isn't his strong suit, he shouldn't be working the counter. My first impression was a lasting and wildly negative one.

Staff completly rude especially older dude at the register with glasses on. I walked in to ask a few questions about a tire because mine was flat, older guy at the register answered me in a way as if he didn’t want to be speaking to me especially when I said I didn’t want to buy one tire for $200, and didn’t want to order. He told me there was nothing he could do and told me they didn’t change car tires to a spare I had not even if I payed. Sent me to the parking lot to change it myself, while my husband was trying to change it we notice one of the nugs of the car was a special one. I walk back inside as it starts to rain and my kids were standing out the car. Guy sees me walk in and walks out without saying a word, I sit there and wait for him to get all back in and he doesn’t so I walk out and said “hello anybody to help me in here” he yells back “ we are closed” as another car pulls up and he answers them all after walking back inside and turning off all the lights. Mind you the other person who pulls in was a white person, and im a latina and yet even though they were “closed” he answered nicely to the car that pulled up and even walks inside with the person at the register . RUDE RUDE RUDE I will never ever touch a foot in Firestone much less this one, keep it for the caucasians since they’re treated better at this place as we seen today. And I will be putting this in all social media, and calling corporate in the morning. I got pictures of who it is too so when i not just call corporate but email them as well, i will make sure they know exactly who it was. Maybe they’ll like me better if I act like a Karen 🤷🏻‍♀️

Would be nice if they had someone competent enough working there to set appointments. I have 3 vehicles, set an appointment for oil change and rotation for all, or so I thought. The guy Drew who set the appointment a week earlier then blamed me that it was ONLY set for one vehicle. I'll never spend any of my hard earned money there again. I'm only giving one star because I have to.

This is just my experience at this location. My first visit to this location was 22 years ago. Today will be my last visit to a Firestone, ever. The experience today combined with another experience at the Firestone on 9th will not be forgotten. My appointment for four new tires was for 7am, opening time. I arrived at the store around 6:50am. At 7:40am my car hadn't moved. At this point I asked for my keys back to leave and get tires elsewhere. The gentleman behind the desk was apologetic and asked how he can make it right. It's not possible to give me my time back and time is my most important commodity. If 7am appointments are scheduled, the business has the responsibility to honor that appointment time. It's that simple.

My experience was like a TV commercial! I called and spoke to Tim who immediately was quite friendly and empathetic to my situation. He'd scheduled me in for same day service. I have to commend him and that whole team for being as polite and professional even though they were slammed. He found the best deal and quality tires possible. An hour after I arrived I drove off with 4 brand new Firestone tires and did not feel ripped off or taken advantaged off like other tire/mechanic shops.Pricing blew away Costco and Sam's Club. I totally recommend going out of your way if you need to feel appreciated for your business. 5 stars to the entire staff. Waiting room was 100% clean and comfortable. Wow!

I've gone to this particular Firestone several times over the years, staff is nice and I have no complaints on the work. This last time, I needed some camber bolts to get a proper alignment. Moog k80276, they billed me $121 for 1 set. Advanced auto has this part for $53 today. I called to confirm and was told "there's always mark up". I'd recommend brining your own parts. They're dealer relationship is obviously not the best.

I've been going here for years and they've always been great. Usually quick to get you in when you have an appointment and their recommendations are usually spot on. They don't upsell anything and always apply coupons or promotions whenever they can without even being asked. I was prepared to pay the price they quoted me today and then I saw on my receipt they added 2 promotions that knocked $40 off that price. The sales people could easily nickel and dime you, but they seem to know the importance of repeat customers.

Broken parts were professionally replaced. I paid for the needed parts in advance, and was notified the day before my appointment that the parts were at the shop. I had a 10am appt and needed to wait for my vehicle, and experienced a 5-hr wait, with over a two-hour wait before the job was begun.

Being from out of state and having to leave the next day, I desperately needed new tires and they delivered! Tim the service advisor was extremely helpful and Kyle the technician did an excellent job. I had to wait there for 4 hours due to circumstances beyond my control but the staff was very friendly with everyone! I will be back in the future! Thank y’all so much!!!

The Tire Manager Cory was great. We got 4 new tires and it only took an hour or so, even though they were short-staffed. If felt like we were driving a new car on the way home! Thank you.

100% recommend. Called and got an appointment the same day for an AC check (a month ago). Very nice, knowledgeable employees. What was really awesome about their service, is that they gave me a free courtesy check. My vehicle was leaking fuel. I did smell fuel days prior, but did not think it was a big deal 😅 Found out FUEL was shooting out from one of the hose. VERY DANGEROUS.

Spent hours one Saturday just to have one tire replaced and soon after I left found out it wasn't balanced properly. since they where closing in 10 minutes and I drive a company vehicle to work I decided to take care of it next Saturday. Called Wednesday to make an appointment spoke to Corey store manager explained the situation, he asked for me to bring it back in to fit the problem no appointment needed but once I arrived Saturday he said he couldn't fit me in without an appointment and is not his problem they installed it correctly, even though they have a garrentee to to the job right the first time. It's unprofessional to run a business this, especially a business chain. I'll take my business somewhere else. Even if I'm driving by with a flat tire or engine about to overheat, I'll drive 10 miles to another shop just to not give them business.

I came here a few months ago because I had a flat tire. Drew was so rude to everyone who came in Constantly slamming phones and hitting the computer like a literal toddler. I had an appointment scheduled so I went to the desk to check in. After standing there for ten minutes, Drew started to get my information. After obtaining my address and name, I told him that I was pretty sure I had tire insurance/warranty. He said, “Are you sure because I’m going to have to restart the whole thing” and I’m positive I purchased it since I’ve had two other flat tires previously and didn’t pay for it since it was covered! He started slamming his mouse and banging on the desk, huffing and mumbling under his breath, slamming the phone, and I wish I was making this up. After his tantrum, he couldn’t find my info so I said forget it I’ll just pay for it because he made me so uncomfortable. Then while my tire was getting replaced, a tech broke my tire pressure sensor. They then ran to auto zone to get a replacement? I said ok sure. Come to find out the next day, my tire pressure light comes on again and I take it to another tire place. The tech then tells me Toyota’s have a special sensor that when it’s broken only Toyota can fix it. So that was great. The tech’s were nice regardless of the mistake they made. Drew made me so uncomfortable and I hope he gets a lesson on how to treat people.

Went in for an oil change and was told I needed new cabin air ($60) and engine air ($70) filters because mine were "drity" (as written on my sheet). Told them I just had my cabin air filters checked 6 months ago and they were clean and the response was "Oh, based on the milage they are SUPPOSED to be dirty, but if you just looked at them, they should be fine." They never even looked at them, just wanted to swindle me out of $60. Told them I would wait on the engine filter and was advised against it because it was pretty mucked up. Called my mechanic on the way home and they're charging $25 for the same $70 task, both places having to order the filter. Got the oil changed for a pretty decent price, hence the 2 star rating, but got in my car and the change sticker was for 3,200 miles more than what my miles are at now. Called and asked if that was right because synthetic blends lasts AT LEAST 5,000+ miles and was told it was just a mathematical error. Not sure I want them making mathematical error on repairs that require any more attention to detail than an oil change.

Came in to have 1 tire serviced and they found a 2nd tire with nails. That tire wasn't losing air. They were thorough and took me same day. This is my 2nd experience with this location. Highly recommend.

Customer service was top tier and offered me great deals on my repairs. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone who needs their brakes replaced. Will be coming back. Make sure to ask for Tim if you have any questions.

I came here for an alignment on my personal car, they had me in and out quicker than expected. I asked a few specific questions/ requests when I dropped it off. They were more than accommodating with printout in hand when I picked it up.

Pinellas Firestone Complete Auto, provide excellent and fast service. Friendly staff willing to meet your car needs. I bought tires and I added life service of rotation and balancing. Excellent package specially with this economy where everything is getting expensive every day. I have gone to other Firestone shops specifically the one in Dunedin, their service is bad, staff very rude and they make you feel unwelcome.

  • 3/5 Nancy W. 1 year ago on Google
It was disappointing to watch the mechanics literally wondering around with only my car and one other in the shop. It took more then an hour to do an oil change and rotate my tires. I have been using this shop for many years and this was the first time I waited this long after my car was brought in an on the lift. There were 3 mechanics and 2 service people. Literally looking at my car walking away coming back. Even when my key went into the plastic folder and I asked how much longer I still waited some more. I don't know why they didn't just work on it, finish it and release it?
