Absolutely horrible experience. I’m a member at the YMCA in Ohio, moved here to switch/start my membership here in Tampa. Walk in, there is a lot of people at the front desk. My youngest son seen the pool and was excited to see what it looked like. I walk to the door with him so he could take a peek. And literally got attacked by Chris (front desk), Not ONE smile, Not ONE kind gesture into fixing the situation. I walk over to the front desk, and said “I didn’t know I couldn’t look out of a window here” Danielle said “SHES JUST DOING HER JOB!” I’ve been a member of the YMCA for over 15 years. Never in my time as a member specially from a Christian Base organization have been treated the way Danielle treated me in-front of my children. I made it very clear to them, THERE SHOULD BE A Sign!!! Or block off the walk way. The sign should state ~> STOP! If you are NOT a member at THIS LOCATION Check into the front desk! Or we will attack you!!!!!!!!! I called the Vice President and still no return call. 0/10 service at this location. Customer Service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to join, but I don’t why the membership costs are so expensive! $56 a month for a person 50 and up, but it’s cheaper for people 20+.. I’ll look elsewhere.

Just wanted to leave some kudos for front desk manager / personal-trainer Kayla. Don’t think she’s actually a manager but she certainly should be. We walked in curiously, just wondering what they had to offer, and we walked out ready to purchase our family membership. She greeted us with open arms and made me feel confident this will be a great place for our family, including the accommodations she described for my special needs son. What a great place!

The swim classes are appropriately sized. Also, the swimming instructors have been excellent at identifying the children's skill level and meeting them in their place of need while pushing them to go beyond their comfort level. My children have greatly enjoyed taking lessons at the Y. Overall, you can tell safety is a great priority. There are a decent number of life guards and staff always present. The pool and surrounding area is well maintained and the water is tested regularly.

The counselors and director are wonderful to my son! Great communication as well. It’s a very well run camp and organized. He has so much fun and wants to go every summer now!

Great staff! Coaches are awesome! It seems that every single coach who interacted with my grandson is very kind, dedicated, keep up on children in a water all all times. I feel very comfortable him being in a water. I am very happy with the results of the classes! He started to float with out fear and swim under water after very few classes! I am very happy that I found this facility and very grateful for services your wonderful staff provides!

The Bob Sierra YMCA is an excellent place to work out! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the group classes are a lot of fun! They have top of the line equipment and the staff is constantly cleaning the bathrooms and the equipment!

This is a wonderful, clean facility with amazing resources for families. The childcare is what really sold me. So many gyms have lackluster childcare but the Bob Sierra YMCA has a huge room, brightly lit with large windows, and wonderful attentive staff. The kids play with toys and color. Sometimes they take the kids outside. They know my kids by name. There is a separate building for gymnastics and kids camps. They have a "water park" with a splash pad, water slides, and a large pool. Locker rooms are clean. They offer a big variety of classes. Swimming lessons, gymnastics lessons, a playground, and lots more.

My grandson has come so far in swim lessons in the past 3 months! All of the instructors are fabulous, patient and kind as well as knowledgeable. He has gone from barley being able to swim to swimmers the length of the pool and learning proper strokes

I enrolled in YMCA because it prides itself on family health and wellness. My son and I have gone to Nicole Gabriel’s and Diesel for our workouts and trainings for quite sometime now. YMCA is closer to our home and I figured oh this is nice because now the toddlers my teen and husband can also have something to do while my son and I work out. My son and I have gone for a week almost and randomly some girl that doesn’t even look qualified comes over to say hey how old is your son because if they aren’t 9 they cannot be in the wellness center so I’m like well he is 9 and I enrolled here primarily for this if it was the case I should have been told I’ve been coming for a week and suddenly today you come around and now it’s a problem and the excuse was oh well we had an email that went out from me to start enforcing no children in the wellness center because people have been complaining and I said oh so people are complaining about me with my son that I am supervising him do his routine and run side by side together is a problem but all the teens doing Tik toks laughing and just hanging around in the wellness center is an issue way to knit pick

I love that the YMCA offers a variety of group exercise classes, including yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and cycling. There are classes for all fitness levels, so there's something for everyone. One of the things I love most about the YMCA is the variety of programs and services it offers.

It’s a great place for kiddos to have fun while learning how to play a sport and learn about teamwork. It doesn’t require too much time from a parents day while giving the kids the opportunity to play a sport . The membership isn’t price badly either which allows the entire family to participate.

They always make us feel welcome with a smile, excellent staff and are attentive to our needs. This fall soccer season was the best, the coach Leger was amazing, the experience, the technique and his dedication was outstanding. My son enjoyed every single day the practice and games. Thank you for this amazing season.
