My wife and I really enjoyed our first stay is this beautiful old home, and the warm hospitality from the Inn Keepers. Enjoyed the tour and fascinating background of the mansion from Tom, who thoroughly explained how everything worked. We stayed in the very spacious George Suite. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we loved how the room was decorated. The tea service, complementary cookies, wine and beer were nice, and the breakfast outstanding! The finishing touch to such an enjoyable stay was meeting adorable house pup, Ellie, who is so sweet, and loves being petted and belly rubs. We'll be back for sure!

This is the cutest B&B and the innkeeper was absolutely fantastic. My husband and I stayed here for two nights and were very pleasantly surprised. When we arrived we got an unexpected yet incredibly pleasant tour and history lesson of the house which has a pretty great story behind it. There was complimentary wine, beer, water and goodies which was a lovely touch. The inkeeper made us breakfast in the morning which was delicious. It is an old house so expect a bit of an old house smell along with creeks in the floors. The room we stayed in was also pretty small and hard to maneuver with luggage and such. Overall, this B&B was great though and we will definitely stay again if we are ever back in Milwaukee!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in the Marion Suite and we had a wonderful experience! We will be back! The best things were 1) our friendly hosts 2) whirlpool tub 3) comfortable bed 4) the best water pressure I've ever experienced while traveling 5) delicious breakfast made by Tom in a cozy breakfast nook 6 ) the oatmeal cranberry cookies 7) beer, water and pop in the fridge 8) so many amazing things to look at 9) close to downtown and 10) the a/c (it's August and it is humid). We were beyond satisfied with our service and stay. Thank you so much Brumder Mansion❤️

Absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful host and great tour on checking in. Love hearing the detailed history of this cozy B&B. Is it haunted? Yes. But it was also a dark and stormy night when we stayed- so lots of noises heard in the middle of the night. Are the spirits friendly? Also a yes. Highly recommend! Will be starting again, especially when they have a murder mystery play going! We stayed in the Gyneth Suite. Beautiful room.

Beautiful home, wonderfully warm and welcoming hosts and all the amenities you could want from a bed & breakfast. We felt completely comfortable during our 2 day stay and had fun spending time throughout the house to see if we could get a peek at a spirit or two! Enjoyed hearing the history of the home and the Brumder family when we arrived. Was pleasantly surprised by a couple of things - best water pressure in a shower EVER in the Gyenth suite, wine/ beer/ soda / water readily available to the guests spoke to my soul, and delicious breakfasts that were obviously prepared with care. Would love to make this a yearly getaway!

Went for my one year anniversary and had a great time! Staff was very friendly and the room was well furnished. Food in the morning was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by the private couple table they had. Would come again!

Words to express my sincere pleasure with the service and ambiance of the Brumder Mansion escape me. The caretaker, Tom, was attentive when needed, but also able to make us feel like the mansion was ours for a night so we could find escape from world as well. The attention to detail was incomparable and the breakfast was phenomenal. We couldn't have been more satisfied. We leave wondering how we will be able to stay elsewhere after this experience. Thank you.

If you’re trying to decide which historical BnB to stay in milwaukee, pick this one! No hidden fees, weird rules, or nickel and diming you for extras. They generously provide different types of beers, wines, and treats for free anytime. The innkeepers were lovely and very easy going. Our room was grandiose but cozy. Loved the jacuzzi. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. And we met the two extremely polite, fluffy mansion dogs!

We stayed here for my fiancé birthday. In the gyneth suite. The room was such a unique and romantic style. LOVED the two person jacuzzi, large bed, and breakfast! It was very clean and Qwaint. Tom 1 and Tom 2 were so friendly. The breakfast was delicious and presented adorably. They have wine, cookies, water, and beer for you to grab near your room, and even some movies ( even tho the room had a fire stick to watch shows). We also got to meet the cute dog that belongs to them! We enjoyed that we got to schedule our breakfast time and was just my fiancé and I. Would recommended for a romantic unique stay with your significant other.

My wife and I stayed at Brumder Mansion on 3/25/21 and our stay was everything we hoped it would be. We stayed in the George Suite which was decorated beautifully. The entire home has a welcoming feeling that puts you at ease. Our room was quite comfortable as we watched movies from the whirlpool tub and ate fresh cookies which were always magically replaced. Breakfast was amazing and our entire stay was just perfect. Will definitely be staying again!

We had an AMAZING stay here, we'd come back to Milwaukee just for this place. Julie and Tom were fantastic hosts. We started off with a tour or the gorgeous Victorian mansion, many different artists have contributed to the beauty and ambiance of the Brumder. It comes with a rich history that Julie will tell you all about! The theater in the basement is amazing, we came on a Wednesday so we missed the show but on a weekend there is usually a full house and a show to see :) We stayed in the George suite, and the jacuzzi tub is eeeeverything! We picked a dvd and got to watch from the tub. I could have spent a full day in that tub, it's great. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great rest. We woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs, which was perfect. The breakfast was everything you could want from a B&B and Julie and Tom have great stories to share if you ask them. Ellie the dog is another memorable and welcoming presence at the Inn. We miss her already. 10/10 highly recommend if you want the experience a great and unforgettable stay in Milwaukee

The Gyeneth suite needed some cleaning and routine attention. Light bulbs in some of the light fixtures were out and needed to be replaced. The in-suite bathroom exhaust fan was covered with dust and looks like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. The bathroom and room blinds didn't not function properly to open it close. The best part about our stay at the Brumder Mansion bed and breakfast was the excellent service we received both mornings for breakfast from Tom, the Innkeeper. He also provided us with a brief history lesson of the property including a tour of the mansion.

I enjoyed my stay at the Brumder once again. We stayed in Marlon's Suite on the third floor. Had nice special touches to make it a romantic, intimate night. The service and breakfast were the perfect ending to our 3rd visit to the historic site.

Fantastic stay. Partner and I had the Marion suite over the weekend for a romantic getaway. It exceeded expectations. Felt so homey with the hosts and owners. Not just that but the magic shows, and guests. Was just an all over friendly experience unlike anything I’ve ever had. Whirlpool baths are super nice, breakfast/dinner is delicious and they are very accommodating with drinks/snacks. Can’t wait to come back. Did have a little spiritual activity, which the owner said isn’t uncommon but it was mild and playful, nothing bothersome. 🙂
