This was my first time going to the Tomahawk Lake. Picnic area and Cook-Out area has plenty of room for your Gathering.one of the Bathrooms was clean by the picnic area. The one closes to the lake was descent. The different active was cool and amazing, you will have fun. That's a separate charge for the actives. You can also have birthday party here. You can sit on the white sand by the lake to watch the children play in the lake.

Beautiful place! Masks use were not enforced. My 4 and 5 yr. old kids had a blast in there. We went 1 day before Father's Day and it didn't feel too crowded, the earliest you go the less crowded it is. You can bring your own barbecue grill and cook or they sell fast food too. Safeguards were everywhere so feel your kids are safe

Had a corporate event here today. Beautiful layout, lots to do. Played some mini golf. They have lots of water stuff, slides, paddle boats, bumper boats, plus a nice pavilion with a bar and live music today. Would definitely come back!

Lake Mohawk is a private lake located in Sparta, New Jersey. It is owned by the Lake Mohawk Country Club and is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and other water activities. The lake itself covers over 1,400 acres and has an average depth of 8 feet. There are a number of things to do at Lake Mohawk, including: Boating: There are a number of boathouses on the lake that rent out boats of all sizes. You can also bring your own boat, if you have one. Fishing: Lake Mohawk is a popular fishing destination for both freshwater and saltwater fish. There are a number of different species of fish that can be found in the lake, including bass, trout, and catfish. Swimming: There are a number of beaches on the lake where you can swim. The beaches are open to the public, but there is a fee to enter. Walking/Hiking: There are a number of walking and hiking trails that wind through the woods around the lake. These trails are a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery. Shopping: There are a number of shops and restaurants located on the boardwalk on the lake. These shops offer a variety of souvenirs, clothing, and other items. The restaurants on the boardwalk offer a variety of cuisines, so you can find something to satisfy your taste buds. Overall, Lake Mohawk is a beautiful and popular destination for a variety of activities. Whether you are looking for a place to boat, fish, swim, walk, hike, or shop, Lake Mohawk has something to offer everyone.

Loved it! Hadn't been since I was 13. Brought my kids ages 7 and 11. I thought it was really cool you could pretty much bring anything food wise and do a picnic. They loved the rides! Maybe just a little cleaning of the slides from the trees.

Nice lake with lots of activities but overpriced. It's already expensive when you go in, plus you have to pay extra for some activities. It was very crowded and the food was not good. In the middle of the day, even the bathrooms were closed because of loss of power. Overall it was OK. I have to give 5 Stars to the life guards team! They were amazing, very professional and with a public like, believe me, it wasn't easy.

Fun day at the water park ☀️🌳🐎 really good ambiance for families with kids, a lot of things to do among the park between the water slide 🛝 the beach 🏖I recommend to bring your own food some snacks or if you’re in the mood for grilling the have spaces designed for $25 extra bucks (the cafeteria offers only junk food and the menu was very limited) 👎🏻

This place is miserable. Truly, miserable. Do. Not. Come. • Everything was disgusting, covered in mold and grease and rust • Extremely racist, treated non-white employees and people awfully • There are leeches in the lake which is ridiculous on its own. • The water slides are outdated and dangerous, sharp corners plastics bits sure to give you a nasty scratch • The management staff are EXTREMELY rude. • The other staff look absolutely miserable and the lifeguards are also extremely rude • Everything is unbearably expensive and I only got a water bottle at the end of the day when one of the food staff people gave me and my family some for free after telling me it was closed. • There’s so many rules i cant even begin to explain how strict it is. It’s more akin to a prison than a fun lake day. At the end of the day you will have eaten food that probably gave you food poisoning, gotten yelled at by a staff member for something ridiculous, gotten a scratch on your leg or arm from a slide, and a lovely leech bite. Unless that is your perfect day: DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Very nice lake and water park! The water is not that clear as other lakes but there’re a couple of options to have a good time… There’re grills where you can make your own barbecue. There’s a very nice area where you can seat and eat as well. And is affordable also compare to other water parks.

If you are looking to have a relaxing time with family, this is not the place for you. After paying the entrance and arriving at 830am... the lifeguards do not start working until 10am, NO one can get in the water until they arrive. A simple solution; start working earlier especially during a Holiday. When they can finally swim... If you have a tall child, he cannot swim in the kid section, but if the child is not short enough, they cannot swim in the opposite side. The lifeguards are obnoxious. Ice cream doesn't open until 1pm and then they are all out. If your music is at a volume 3, the security will tell you to turned it down every chance they get. The bartender was rude. Just overall skip this lake.

Pay pay pay pay. Oh and pay for that too. Wait you wan’t to use the other water slide too? Pay! OH YOU WANT TO SIT THATS $50! Good slides. Unsupervised children running the place is a double edge sword. Saw rude treatment of people speaking Spanish and a lot of ‘this is my only control in life I’m gonna tell people what to do’…. Flip side of that is they will let you mess around to go faster like run and dive onto the slide or block the water trough to build up a lot of pressure behind you. etc.. appreciate that. Also if you want to swim with your kids… you better have really tall kids or be really short. You are not allowed to swim with people of similar height. Two stars because it has a nostalgic feel and if you like rides the three rides are decent enough.

Beautiful experience at Tomahawk Lake. This was my second time here and now as mom. My son had a great time looking for birds and bugs then he could splash by the lake with friends. I was on a corporate event so food and drinks was included. If you're thinking to get your employees and their families here I will recommend it. However I saw people bringing whatever they need to make a BBQ. There's plenty of picnic area. For pet lovers, unfortunately pets are not allowed.

This is not what I expected it was terrible the water smelled and there was algae on the rides note that when you are spending money for a place like this that is a lake it should be clean the ambiance was nice and the people was friendly but I wouldn’t recommend this place

Went on a Friday and it wasn't crowded. Nice location and we'll maintained. It was 91 degrees and close to 100 degrees real feel because of the high humidity. Although it was a very hot day it felt very comfortable in the shade the trees provided There's a bathroom with a couple of stalls for changing clothes. Bathroom needs updating like a few years ago. The air conditioning system was dripping on me while using the urinal. I looked up at the exposed ceiling and there's mold all over. The lake was nice and the crowd seemed okay. I didn't try the food. There was a shake shack near by. The picnic tables were okay but old looking near the end of it's life. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I liked this place and would recommend this place especially for the kids. My 2 year old loved it. Will come back again. 1 to 1.5 hour's drive from Brooklyn plus or minus with traffic. Bring your own food and grill if that's your thing. Come prepared to have fun and relax. Always be safe in and around water.

My kids love coming here. They love everything about it; the slides, sand, looking for frogs, catching the little guppies in the water. It’s a full day every time we come.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I’ll be honest The place is nice & relaxing but there are way too much rules & regulations for you to enjoy! I get the no music part to be respectful of others but it’s music being played from a phone, not a bluetooth speaker. & the volume is not turned up & not Loud. The lifeguards act like they have something up there a** sometimes. & You pay $16 a person to get in when you can just go to another lake & not have someone breath down your neck & there lake water looking like toilet water!

It’s not an extremely expensive place to go to with kids. It’s a fun day out for everyone. They even have a bar area for the adults. You can go mini golfing also. It’s a great place for all ages. Definitely recommend going during the summer season.

We went to Tomahawk Lake on a Monday. There was a big sign at the entrance closed on Tuesday. So quite happy they were open. My kids are toddlers and teens. They had so much fun. The Beach area was as expected lake water clean. The beaches and picnic areas clean and accessible. The slides were a lot of fun and definitely worth the extra pay. Staff was very friendly. Ice cream was good. Lots of trees with shade. Bathroom facilities are typical for high traffic beach areas. The no radio policy is quite enjoyable. Listening to nature and kids having fun splashing in the water. We will definitely visit again soon.

Yay but Nay… So I’ve been wanting to go here for years, tried to research what it was about, hard to sift through other peoples reviews to see if it was for us. First I love the whole Idea of the place, if you have been to wild west city its got that same old feel, old and true. Also a water park with lake water also awesome. But…… $70+ to get in for a family of 4 (11yr old/ 14yr old) we were there for the water rides but that was an extra $68. We didn’t get to do any swimming or boating due to the lines being long for the water slides and the lack of tubes. (You have to wait for people to be done with the tubes to use them and some people go on multiple rides) We only rode 3 rides in the 4 1/2 hours we were there. Some of the rides were closed. They should have separate pricing. For the almost $150 we spent to ride 3 rides it wasn't worth it. We wont be back. Its great for a one and done.

This place is ridiculous with the rules Everything is very expensive, the water is dirty. The staff is very rude and will make your day miserable. I would definitely NOT recommend this place, if u like freedom go spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredible family day at Tomahawk Lake! This waterpark and lakeside park in NJ truly exceeded our expectations. The family-friendly atmosphere made for a memorable experience. The park was impeccably clean, and the variety of water-related activities kept everyone entertained for hours. From thrilling water slides to relaxing by the lake, there was something for everyone. We can't wait to visit again and create more wonderful memories! Highly recommended for a fun-filled day out.

First time there. I was really delighted. It was like the perfect set for a 80's summer camp movie. They had all the amenities for a family. A kiddie area for under 4ft kids, an area for under 5 ' kids and a general admission lake area for everyone else. Add on cost for the big slides, paddle boats, mini golf. We spent 5 hours there, the kids were so happy!! The bathroom is a bit dated, but clean (expect camp ground) ...

Went there for my 12th Grade Class Trip. It was a blast to go there. Lots of great activities, like water slides, miniature golf, ping pong, and boat paddling. Very nice beaches, picnic areas, and overall great service.

This place is miserable. Truly, miserable If you are looking to have a relaxing time with family, this is not the place for you. After paying $20 pp, if you wan't to used water slide you need to paid extra If you have a tall child, he cannot swim in the kid section, but if the child is not short enough, they cannot swim in the opposite side. Worst place to go. All the staff have an attitude, very rude. The employees need to come down , and have more manners.
