They are wonderful as always! I was a "walk-in" and they took me in less than 10 minutes...if that! The doctor there is very personable and presents himself in a very caring manner. Kindness makes a difference..... they are very nice people 🙂

Had to have some stitches on a cut removed. Very easy to make an online appointment. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was awesome! Explained everything he was doing so I knew exactly what was going on. Had a slight infection in one of the stitches, so he prescribed antibiotics and explained exactly how much to take and when. I had to travel about 15 miles, but is so, so much better than our local urgent care.

Everyone at this facility is awesome. From the receptionist to the nurse and finally the doctor. The attention given to my son this evening was stellar. Thank you for showing that you all sincerely care about the patients who walk through your doors.

Everyone here is so nice, which really helped put me at ease when I was previously feeling a lot of anxiety about the reason for my visit. Dr. Shahid was excellent, explained everything super thoroughly and clearly, and put all my concerns to rest. The nurse and front desk staff were also wonderful and helped me with my insurance card etc. I was seen very promptly. Definitely recommend this urgent care.

The staff here was very kind. And helpful to my health needs. The front desk staff was attentive and the young lady helped me get checked in quickly. Then the moment I was called - the nurse and doctor were extremely kind. They both came in to the room and helped me feel at ease with my concerns and both were very knowledgeable and guided me on helping feel better. I definitely recommend this Urgent Care. Oh and my wait time was super quick.

Dr. Shahid as well as the other staff members here were amazing. They were all very nice, quick, and efficient. I was in the waiting room for about 5 minutes or less before being roomed and seen. I felt heard about all my concerns and everything was addressed before I left.

Very clean, the staff is courteous and caring. The Dr was great answered all my questions and took the time to make sure I was ok, did not rush me at all. The visit over all was quick. I will use this office again as needed. Strongly recommend.

It's great calling a Doctors office and getting a great morning greeting from Charil. I had a couple of questions and she answered them without hesitation and listened to me thoroughly. There are some places that you will call with a question and they immediately have an attitude as if you should know the answer. Charil was great and when I walked in, she acknowledged and greeted me immediately. Keep up the good work ❤️ The nurse was great and the Doctor answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.

Horrible experience. My wife was not feeling well so I drove her here for care. When we arrived we were told the wait time would be atleast 90 minutes despite the fact the place was completely empty. When we asked why so long for an empty place we were told because of appointments. Appointments at an Urgent Care? Really!? This place is not an Urgent Care but a Clinic apparently. Therefore, they should change their name so as not to misinform the public.

Was able to make an appointment online at 2:30 in the morning for a morning appointment the next day. Weight was minimal, waiting room, not too crowded. The nurse Karen was very helpful very polite and professional and compassionate. The doctor explained everything to me, including what I could expect as far as my symptoms go Would recommend physicians want to everyone

I should have posted my experience at the time but here goes. I made an appointment late in the afternoon because my symptoms had gotten seriously worse in a few short hours. Initially dealing with just chills (flu?) my lower leg showed signs of infection. I explained to the nurse that my wife and I were heading to the Adirondacks for a few days, leaving first thing in the morning. She looked me dead straight and said the only place that I was going was straight to the emergency room. Trip to the emergency room turned into a two day stay in the hospital for sepsis. Had I encountered someone less skilled and knowledgeable, within a day I would have been in very serious trouble far from home. So thank you Urgent Care.

I am very grateful to Dr. Waseem Shahid and the kind staff at Physician One Urgent Care in Mohegan Lake for helping me overcome a difficult case of Covid. After the first 4 days of Covid, which I confirmed with a home test kit, I recognized my symptoms were getting worse, not better. Not wanting to leave the house and risk exposing others, my first experience with Physician One was with their Telehealth service, as I needed a prescription for Paxlovid and eye drops to heal a pink eye infection. This was easily arranged, and I had my prescriptions ready for pickup at my local pharmacy by end of day. By the 8th day of my illness, my symptoms were continuing to get worse. The fever returned every evening making sleep impossible. My throat was too sore to eat, and I had difficulty keeping hydrated. An ear infection was causing intense headache and pain. My nose was running continuously, and I was going through at least a box of tissues each day. I was absolutely miserable. I made an appointment for an office visit, and arrived masked up, keeping to the furthest corner of the waiting room. All of the admission details had been provided on line when I booked the same day appointment. I provided my license, insurance card, and credit card to the receptionist. That was all that was needed. At my appointment time I went in to an exam room, where I met the doctor. He listened to what I had to say, and understood that if he could not help me, I would have to go to the hospital, which I really wanted to avoid. He came up with an effective treatment plan for each of my symptoms, including an antibiotic to treat the ear infection. The quality of my life improved dramatically once my meds were available, and with each passing day my condition improved, rather than worsening as it had been. It is now day 11 for me, and i am greatly improved, eating, and sleeping well. There is still residual illness to get over, but I feel I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you!

My recent visit to PhysicianOne Urgent Care was a very pleasant and positive experience. The Front Desk office manager was lovely and extremely accommodating, and I was seen promptly. Also, it was wonderful to receive care from Nurse Cruz and Dr. Shahid; they were both very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in their treatments, and had listened carefully and patiently to my description of symptoms, as well as to my concerns and questions. Every question was answered in great detail, as well. We in the community are very fortunate to have fantastic Medical professionals such as Dr. Shahid and Cruz to turn to for our care. I am very thankful for the team at Physician One, and would highly recommend this Urgent Care facility!

Front desk people and the nurses were so friendly. It was clean and organized. However the actual medical care sucked. I went in for an ingrown toenail(I know gross sorry) and the doctor was horrible. He told me he was going to numb my toe and dig out the corner, even promised he would not destroy my toenail. First major issue was that he did not even wait for the numbing to start. Literally put a shot in my toe and then immediately started digging at it which was so painful I almost passed out. He then went on to destroy my toenail. Literally cut such a huge part out of it that now I’m having reoccurring issues and might have to get the whole thing removed. Such a slap in the face today to have to pay a 130 dollar bill for a service that literally made me worse. Save your money, sanity and time and do not go here if you can avoid it.
