My 10 year old daughter and I have just completed our open water cert at the local option. Frank and his team of wonderful instructors guided us through the pool lessons first and then the open water for certification. You might be apprehensive on the first class like us but their teaching methods are step by step and you don't move on to the next lesson until you've grasped the last one. Everyone is extremely patient and will work with you till you get it right. Of course I was a little worried about my daughter being 10, which is the minimum age for Frank to accept, diving to deeper water, wearing all the gear, learning all the procedures....etc. But Frank and his team actually took special care of her and made sure she was always comfortable and ready to dive. Safety is always the priority at the classes. My daughter loves to scuba now and she looks forward to more diving adventures. Special shout out to, Camille, Tracy, Guido, Mike, Tim, and of course Frank for making this Scuba experience something to remember for a lifetime!

Frank and the whole team are outstanding. They are thorough, knowledgeable and care deeply about each diver’s experience. The equipment is up to date and well kept. I would especially recommend this school for someone who is apprehensive or timid but still wants to dive - they are so patient, enthusiastic and encouraging. My husband and I are experienced divers and have been to many diving schools in the world. This is one of the best we’ve seen, and we are so glad our daughter was certified here. It was a little hard to get ahold of Frank initially - but I suggest to keep trying! He is sometimes unavailable due to diving trips and lake-clean-ups. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

I normally don't leave reviews but anything Scuba Connections needs from me they got it. They have a client for life :-) I have taken two specialty courses with Scuba Connection so far since my last review, and from start to finish they have been amazing! Frank, Tracy, Camille, Tim and Mike and the rest of the Scuba Connection family are very friendly and personable and make you feel like part of a family and not just another number/customer. They all mesh very well and have an awesome passion for diving and for teaching the sport. My experience with them just gets better and better. They really go out of their way to help you (on their own time) excel in what you're trying to learn. If you on the fence about trying to scuba dive, get off the fence and give Scuba Connection a call! They really take the potential stress and anxiety out of scuba diving. Your missing an amazing life experience. They also host some great events and trips! Any day on the water or below the water (which is better) beats a day on land!!

I love the people here! Everybody was very supportive and patient with me from beginning to end. Other divers who I met at the pool were very friendly, although I didn't really interact with them while on training. The people made it easy for me and made it a fun experience.

Where do I start with my awesome, fun filled experience with Frank and the rest of the staff at Scuba Connection. I actually had Frank Rakowski as an instructor in another field about 10 years ago and by the grace of God reconnected with him at a cleanup event Scuba Connection hosted at the Round Valley Reservoir last month where all the volunteers/divers collected a huge pile of garbage out of the water and even found a boat motor. I dive at RV a lot and seen Scuba Connection was hosting this cleanup event so I figured I would do my part and join in. At the check-in I said hello to Frank and said to myself I know him from somewhere but couldn't figure out where. Then after we started talking about some additional training for myself a few days later, I figured out where I knew him from. What are the chances we would cross paths again 10 years later. Frank, Tracy and the rest of his staff that day made me feel so welcome and you could tell the passion they have for this discipline/sport. I just finished with some additional training with Scuba Connection and from start to finish it was great. Tracy and the rest of the staff were very personable, easy to follow, understand and were very hands on. They were there for me every step of the way including answering emails with very fast responses 7 days a week. You aren't just a number at Scuba Connection. You're a client for life after you connect with them. Besides doing training, they host many local and distant events/diving trips that most dive instruction centers don't do. Most dive centers don't offer/host local dive events which is great. They want you to practice what they teach you and dive as much as possible to make you a better diver. I don't write many reviews but this one was well deserved. Thanks again to Frank, Tracy and the rest of the Scuba Connection staff.

I truly fulfilled a dream earning my advanced open water certification and working with Scuba Connection was the absolute best decision I could have made. I took this journey very seriously and took months to research and reach out to shops. Partnering with a shop and finding the right instructor was priority for me and from the first conversation with Frank, I knew I had finally found the perfect dive community for me! We took things at my pace, I felt safe, seen and always respected, which as a new diver with a diverse background and culture this is so important. There really aren’t any barriers to learning scuba and the Scuba Connection team makes this clear. Don’t wait any longer if you’re contemplating learning scuba! I first joined Scuba Connection through their Round Valley Clean Up event. It was there where I first experienced the warm and supportive community of Scuba Connection. Since then I joined them in the pool almost every week to work on my buoyancy and learn different skills. Camille, Tracy, Tim, Hamza, Mike and Frank always went out of their way to teach me and guide me in becoming a better diver. I recently went on a trip to Bonaire with them to do my certifications, and had such an Amazing time with everyone! Guido, Frank and Mike were the best. As with my first time scuba diving, they were hands on teaching, showing, ensuring, that I was safe and being taught every proper scuba procedure. The classes were just fantastic and all were just so down to earth. Don’t think twice if you are thinking about getting your scuba certification, go with scuba connection. If I could, they would get a 10 star rating.

I joined Scuba Connection for their January Bonaire trip. They're a friendly group of people with great instructors. My buoyancy and confidence in the water greatly increased as the trip progressed. I earned certifications in Nitrox, Underwater Imaging, and Night Diving. The underwater imaging course helped me learn how to take better photos underwater and how to edit images. Looking forward to using these skills on future dive trips!
