I was looking for a medical supply store with good ratings. I found Bowman home medical and respiratory supplies. Not a lot of ratings, but they were good ratings. So I decide to visit the store not sure what to do due to the virus then I saw a sign and it read sit in your car and someone with be out. So a women opens the door of the store and asks if she could help me so I told her what I needed she seemed really annoyed and said I have to get gloves and I’ll be right out. So I sat there and thought wow she was kinda cold. Someone else comes out to talk to me she was ok. Well I felt like I was bothering them so I got my information and left. The more I thought about it the more I felt like I was not treated very nice. I come home and call and ask to speak to who ever was in charge and the women on the phone proceeds to tell me that she is the owner, so I said “you were the women that I spoke to first and I proceeded to tell her that she was lacking customer service. I said that I work in the medical field and we do not treat people the way she did, she then proceeded to tell me to take my business elsewhere and she hung up on me. If that’s the kind of service you want then go for it!

Extremely unprofessional! Not only do they block the only handicap parking spot with their own vehicle but they made my mother who has very bad knees stand alone in the store and then continue to walk back and forth to the car as we were not allowed to assist her. First and last time purchasing anything here. I’m surprised that a medical supply location would be so lacking of compassion for people needing medical supplies.

Horrible and rude personnel in the billing department!!! Don’t ever get medical devices from these people. My wife inadvertently paid an account balance twice. The company sent me a refund check. Unfortunately, the check was misplaced and never cashed or deposited! We did find the original check. I called Bowman and asked for a replacement check. The nasty and rude woman that I talked too said that they refused to issue a replacement check and that I was out if luck. So much for a caring company who cares for Senior Citizens!!!!

I work in health insurance and frequently have to deal with DME suppliers. They are notoriously difficult to deal with. Bowman Home Medical, however, is excellent. I wish I could refer them to everyone, but they do limit their reach to NJ. Strongly recommend this provider.

They called 3 times over a two month period about delivery of a bed. Each time I asked about getting help to wheel the old bed to another room (less than 6ft) because we're old people. The first two times they said they would call back and never did. The 3rd time Gary? Glen? Angrily asked if I WANTED to pay $50 for this help and why hadn't I already moved the bed? Should the patient have been sleeping on the floor for the past two months? He was so confrontational that I don't feel safe having him in my home and am now exploring other options.

Helpful and informative staff. They treated me with respect, I had same day delivery. The Respiratory therapist, Alan explained in great detail so I fully understood use and care of oxygen equipment for my family member.When it came time for billing questions, I called the office and they walked me through the insurance coverage. I highly recommend this company.

I needed an external catheter for my hubby. I went online and found Bowmans. They had a shop near me that carried them. I didn't know there were so many to pick from. Jack was so helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you so much. It's great to know when the need arises you're close at hand.
