Great meal at Lord’s. Great service, anticipating needs without being overbearing. Food is exactly what you want it to be — exciting with unique ingredients and flavor profiles… yet still familiar and not so fussy that if grandma made it you wouldn’t be shocked. Guanciale and Oysters? Sure. Duck pie was a must. Everything felt comfortable yet refined, and in a sleek space too. Will return.

Worth going to Lord’s for the cocktails alone, especially if you like complex herbal flavors (that rhubarb amaro daiquiri!). Food is delicious, albeit on the pricier side. It passes the most important question of: do I look forward to dining here again? Absolutely yes. EDIT: Have since returned. Lord’s needs to work on the consistency of the pie crust, as it was soft and puffy instead of crunchy in the recent visit. Taste-wise still spot on.

The food is amazing. Beautifully balanced. Started with oysters kilpatrick - amazing, followed by langoustine, mushrooms, scotch egg and duck pie. Could not wish for a more flavorful combination. Here are the kinks. Cracked my tooth on the mushroom. A little sand rock no big deal, asked management to be aware for next customer. Ordered wine waited for 20 minutes. When asked again i was told that the bottle had already been shown and opened - the waitress tried to make a sale. Happens understandable.. wine is great by the way. Asked for the bill. Sitting here being completely ignored by everyone. No service, no one is refilling my glass. Sad, a Michelin candidate… almost

Having stayed in London for a decade, I could safely recommend Lord’s for its creative interpretation of British food. Lord’s present an amazing twist, somewhat making it an American-British fusion to their menu which I found really interesting yet worrying at the same time. The worries were put to rest when I took a mouthful of all their food. It was delicious! And this is applicable to all items on the menu. But if I were to choose two items, it would be the steak and the cod fish. Our server, Max was very attentive and friendly. It made our dinner more enjoyable than it already is. Lord’s can be pretty crowded. A reservation is highly recommended to secure a seat. I would recommend inside the restaurant. The decor is much better than hearing the traffic of New York City outside, unless the weather is perfect.

Fervently recommend the lamb curry scotch egg; it's a twist on a classic that hits so right you wonder why no one thought of it sooner. The deviled crab and tomato toast was a surprising and refreshing dish, perfect for a hot summer day. While the dry-aged ribeye for 2 was a bit small, it was prepared to perfection and accompanied by the delectable, duck fat potatoes. I can't recall the name of either dessert but they were both sublime. The blueberry crumble with chamomile ice cream felt familiar and novel all at once. We sampled 2 house cocktails and had an extra dirty martini. They were all prepared brilliantly, well balanced and expertly crafted. Last but certainly not least, the team was friendly and hosted our meal impeccably. If you get the chance to dine at Lord's, do yourself a favor and take that chance.

Elevated British comfort food in the heart of Greenwich Village. Every aspect of the meal was enjoyable, service was great. Ordered two appetizers (scotch egg and pork loin tonnato) and two entrees (tomato eggplant pie and steak with chips), all these dishes were filling and delicious so we ended up not having room for dessert. Drinks also great, would definitely recommend the bitter orange collins (bitterness was balanced nicely).

Visited here for the burger. Heard that there are only 12 burgers to serve a day. So I decided to give it a try. The burger has a sliced onion under the patty and it gives a spicy taste. And the smell lingers in my mouth for a while. I’m not saying this is bad, but It’s not one of the best burgers in NYC either. Scotch eggs are okay. If you want a burger, don’t have to line up for this one. People including me want to try because it’s limited. Like only 12 a day, so they’re curious about the burger. That’s it.

Went in with relatively high expectations and even those were exceeded. Every dish was a delight and balanced perfectly. They were delicate without ever being precious. The service was never stuffy but always professional. We particularly appreciated the sommelier Max and his specialized rec for our request of an Andalusian wine that matched our heavier meal. (He delivered with a unfortified Palomino.) Don’t miss the oysters kilpatrick, which my partner declared to be the best cooked oysters he’s ever had. The trout punches above its weight. The scotch egg lives up to its reputation, and the burger gives Minetta Tavern a run for its money. Cocktails are great, and we will do dessert next time.

Lord's is a fine restaurant with great service. This is borderline 1 star. The service is 1 star, the food is not. Bottom line. Is it worth the trip? Yes. The oysters were over salted and their flavor was masked by the other ingredients. Think, full coverage. The scallop was great. I would come to appreciate its light, freshness by the end of the meal. I didn't care for the burger, having tried a few other's recently. Raoul's was considerably better. Having gone to many 1 star restaurants, this was one of the less enjoyable meals. That being said, it was a great experience. And perhaps one of the few opportunities to have elevated English food. If I were to give any feedback, it would be the menu would benefit from more balance.

The off the menu burger lives up to the hype! The servers were so accommodating they will hold the burger for you while you look over the menu so that you don’t miss out (there’s only 12 available each day). We had the scotch egg and deviled crab on toast which were both impeccable. I would give the terrine a miss. The star of the show was the juicy flavorful burger, it was cooked to perfection and the pretzel bun was perfect. Pair it with the proper English chips for a 10/10 experience.
