We visited Arthur Murray when my wife and I were looking for dance lessons. The staff was friendly and helpful from when we stepped in to our last class. Our dance instructor helped us every step of the way and was there for us no matter what. She would always ask if we were comfortable and would work closely with us to make sure that everything was perfect. Everyone was polite, friendly, and never gave us any issues or hard times. We definitely recommend this studio for anyone who wants to learn how to dance.

My fiancé and I moved to Ridgewood in the middle of last year and came to Arthur Murray as a way to create a shared hobby. We’re so glad we did! Everyone in the studio made us feel welcome even though we have no dance experience. The classes have been good for our mental and physical health and have strengthened our relationship by giving us a shared interest. Thank you!

My wife and I had the most amazing experience with Arthur Murray as we were getting ready for our first dance, and also learning some salsa too! Our first instructor was Anna who was so patient and kind with us! We learned so much from her! And now with Leah, who is also super patient and nice, we picked up right where we left off. With an instructor who is super knowledgeable and helps us to feel confident and prepared to dance in front of an audience! Our first dance went perfectly, and as someone who hates (or rather hated - past tense) to dance, I can happily say I always look forward to dance class every time we have it. And we’ll definitely be continuing to take lessons here going forward. Great lessons. Great date night with the wife. And great people!

Arthur Murray is the TOPS🎶🎶🎶 The staff is so sweet so knowledgeable. I have learned so much and I continue to go back for more💃🏻 I have grown to know and love other dancers who I now call my friends. If you never have danced well neither had I——- we all start from the beginning! You just have to take the first dance step through the Arthur Murray door and you will be dancing! This Dance Studio became my home. I’m looking forward to every single dance lesson. All teachers are excellent, very attentive to your needs, and mainly very professional. It is one big family. Beautiful studio with a great teaching staff. We have been coming here for almost 2 years to first learn to dance for my daughters wedding but then decided to continue on because dancing has been fun and a great way to keep active. The teachers are super friendly and patient and the atmosphere in the studio is very positive and welcoming. Highly recommended!

My husband and I signed up for some dance lessons for our wedding. This was our best money spent throughout the wedding planning process! Frank was our instructor and he was fabulous! He made us feel very comfortable on the dance floor. Frank gave us a great choreographed first dance and even gave us some fun pointers on how to do our entrance. Each session went by so fast because we were having so much fun. This is a great studio! All the instructors were helpful and friendly, but a big thank you goes out to Frank who taught us how to have fun on the dance floor!

Excellent professional team of instructors that take pride in what they do. Our instructor Nico was patient, helpful, enthusiastic and joyous when we were successful with our dance steps. Everyone who worked there seemed very nice. Clean, bright space. Easy parking. Lots of fun!

I love Arthur Murray Ridgewood! It's more than just dance lessons for me! The energy is so great, everyone is so friendly and they make you feel comfortable right from the start. I thought learning to dance was going to be scary or intimidating, but it has been such an encouraging experience and I am feeling so much progress in just a few months! We were interested in ballroom dancing for our teenage daughter in order to better her poise and confidence, not to mention give her a rounded dance education. Arthur Murray Ridgewood came highly recommended by friends of ours who have worked with them in the past. My daughter absolutely loves it! I can see a difference in how she carries herself even after only a couple of weeks! The staff is amazing, talented, so professional and made my daughter feel comfortable right from the start. I've been wanting to take lessons for a long time and finally had the courage to enroll because I was part of a fund raiser event and needed to learn to dance in a relatively short period of time. Well, I cannot express what a great experience it was! The event turned-out to be a total success and our group danced like champions! But just as memorable was the pleasure of working with the Arthur Murray staff. You guys are truly professionals and were great from the first minute. Particularly Irene, who has endless talent, devotion and patience! So if you are thinking about it as I did, please stop thinking and get yourself in to the studio in Ridgewood. I've been going to Arthur Murray Ridgewood for about 6 months now with the intention to perform competitively. Best. Decision. Ever. Even before I arrived for my first lesson, my experience was positive. Anastasia eased any concerns or worries I had about starting to dance and reassured me that all my goals were possible (and she was right!). When I arrived for my lesson I was nervous and intimated. I was greeted by not only Anastasia but the owners of the studio, Sarah and Luci, who are warm, welcoming and very excited to get to know my dance goals and make them happen! In the past 6 months I have had the opportunity to work with all the instructors at the studio and they are all incredibly knowledgeable and eager to teach. I've worked mostly with Andrea and Nikko who are absolutely the greatest. The studio offers group classes which are helpful when trying to learn new steps and allows you to work with other students of the same level. Then there are the Practice Parties, which are just plain fun and a great way to practice in a social setting. For anyone who is considering ballroom dancing, AM is the place to do it. Hands down, the best.
