If everything is to follow on what today’s preview showed it might honestly be as great as it was before the pandemic. It was a little bit less packed due to the need to purchase tickets, but the new stands that have popped up this year are definitely worth visiting. My favorite hands down is the new afghani stand with their dumplings. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you hadn’t already. The classic huarache and beef sticks can’t go wrong for some bites.

Awesome diverse food options. Large scale event every Saturday night during the summer. Has alcohol as well. Some lines can get super long. Some stalls are pricy.

If you plan on going to the Queens Night Market there are some tips and tricks you need to know before attending. I would not take a car because parking is horrible there is a train a few blocks away. On the way to the market by train you'll find the locals selling food.. For those who have to drive You should arrive at least a hour prior to park in the lot which is $12 however it's free to park after 4:30 pm. I was there early at 4 pm and the market started at 6 pm . I was in my car when I came out at 6pm to get in the line to get in was so long. Everyone rushes to there favorite food vendors. Most people wanted to try several places to eat. There are people selling other things like prints, clothing and hand made items . Please show these people support and encouragement by purchasing and item or at least take there information and pass it on to someone else who may be interested. Bring extra chairs and blankets seating is limited. There is a DJ on the premises. The most popular food stand for me was the Caribbean Jerk chicken stand and Twisted potatoes

This is a perfect place to try foods from all over the world. The prices are great from $5-$7 for food. They have a live band and you can picnic on the grass area or seat at the picnic table. I suggest coming before 7 to avoid long lines. I enjoyed the Indian Bbq tandoori wings from Sholay but it was spicy. The bake and shark was only $6 with all the toppings. I even got an lamb skewer for $3. This is also a family friendly event so you can bring the kids . They don't check your bags and their is no admission. However parking on site is $15 but along the side streets leading to the highway is free and at your on risk.

Today was amazing. The food was amazing. It rained but they were still out there ready at 5pm. I have so much respect for these vendors. I loved how short the lines were and the speed of service.

Park at the very first spot you see. The walk to the market is less than 10 minutes. If you drive in further, you would most likely stuck for a long time without a spot. The weather is nice as well as the vibe. The crowd is mix but mostly young kids. Don’t make my mistake. I got tired of waiting on line and just order one big item from one place. You should definitely order one small item and jump to another line. There are so much option and standing in line is the activity. If you like to bring a picnic blanket, it’s a good choice to sit on the grass and chill. There are bathrooms and hand wash area. Water is $1.50 so I suggest you bring your own with a small cooler. Most small dish range from $4 to $6 and it’s for mostly tasting. I don’t think you will get full on anything less than 3 lines worth of food. Have fun.

Coming here was such a great experience. I moved to the DC area from Queens 6 years ago and always brag to my DMV friends about the great food back home and how diverse it is. Also, how seemingly inexpensive it is in contrast to DC. I came up with a friend and took her here. She got to experience real NY, outside of Manhattan, and culture. We tried at least 6 different types of cuisine and each had wine. I spent a total of $60 and we had a blast. The food was great, there were all types of vendors, and even a DJ. Would definitely go back.

First time here, and I had a fun experience. The amount of stalls and variety of different food was amazing and the foods that we tried were delicious! Be warned that the price is a bit up there, but if you're with a group of friends like I did, we all have something different to try. I'm definitely coming back next year. They do have onsite parking that comes out to $15 but I found free street residential parking just a couple blocks away.

It's best to get there early around when they first open. It's gets super crowded when the sun starts going down and gets cooler. The parking situation was a bit messed up though. We were directed away from the main parking lot so many people were parking along the road going towards Grand Central Pkwy. Good eats for cheap prices. Really good for sharing and trying new things.

A great experience! Came from Manhattan and it was still worth it. They keep everything maxed at $6 which is really great. And the food is excellent. Highly recommend the Brazilian steak Sammy and the twister cake!

This is the ultimate spot for foodies! It was truly heaven and I wanted to eat everything. Parking was a big bleep but in the end it was worth going through everything to get there. Everything is like a tapas and cost 5 or 6 bucks. I will go back again! Don't forget to try the twisted potatoes 🤤

BRING CASH!!! Amazing experience. We got here early at 530 Sat nite, took the 7 train to 111th St for a walk. We loved the variety of food, relaxed vibe, stores, picnic tables and music going on. Lines were shorter as thingd were just getting started. The Burmese food and the Ceviche were my favorites. You'll find something that you'll like, no matter your dietary preferences! Most items are $6, enjoy! We'll be back. Other tips: bring wet wipes for hands, blanket if you want to picnic, keep your plastic utensils and empty cartons to make it easier to share, be patient in line...these are local small busy businesses!

We love it. I usually come super early. The portions are small and cost about $6 per serving so we try few things. There are vegetarian options. I think it is still better to bring cash but they have Venmo too.

The Queens Night Market is an absolute food lover's paradise! This vibrant outdoor market showcases an incredible array of international cuisines and cultural experiences, all in one place. Each vendor takes immense pride in their cultural heritage, delivering dishes that are true to their roots. You can savor the flavors and spices from different regions, making it a truly immersive dining experience. What sets this market apart is the affordability and generous portion sizes. The vendors understand the joy of sharing good food with others, as they serve up hearty portions that won't break the bank. It's an ideal place to explore new flavors without burning a hole in your pocket. Everything is $6!

One of my favorites in NYC to do. Very reasonable prices. Most expensive dish is $6. This time around, I eat Thai, Turkish, Tibetan, and Pakistani food.

QUEENS NIGHT MARKET!! A marvelous way for taste buds and olfactory nerves to explore international cuisine from all around the world..side by side in one night! Enjoy it Saturday nights from April through October! So many vendors, so many food to choose from! Located at the back of New York Hall of Science. BE EARLY!!! To avoid long lines and sold out favorites.(Gates open at 5pm) There are 2 entrances, one near the Forms of Transit Statue and the other one on the other side near Avenue of Science. The Avenue of Science entrance has fewer people in line, and yes, people line up just to go in! Highest price for the food is $6! Good portion for one person depending on the cuisine. Bring cash cause some vendors only accept cash (there are ATM’s available but the line can be long too!) Great way to support local businesses as well! We will definitely go back and try other cuisines! So far we tried Ethiopian, Afghan, Brazilian, Haitian, Japanese treats! Can’t even remember the names of the food 🤣 but everything was great!

I love this Queens Night Market! It feels exactly like the night markets in Asia but with American vibes. Super diverse, most of the food are very yummy and average around $6 per dish.

As a visitor to the City, I can't really express how much we enjoyed this evening. Such a pleasure strolling by all of the vendors and making the very difficult decision of what to get. Loved this !!!

Absolutely love these night markets, was a really cool place to visit and lots of amazing food. Cuisines you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. Lots of space to park and sit and eat. Also quite close to the subway so definitely recommend coming here on a Saturday. Dog friendly too!

Saturday we went it was extremely crowded. My kids enjoyed the band. Food was delicious. Tried Brazilian stand and corn on the cob and fried ice cream. Waits were maybe 40 minutes at some spots. Bring a picnic blanket and comfortable shoes. Wish they had more kid friendly stands. Perfect place to try lots of foods at once. Definitely recommend it for anyone visiting new york. Its free to enter and between 5 and 6 per item.

I love how there are so many options. I could literally go back every Saturday and still not get over it. I love how they have so many halal options. I tried so many halal options and they were amazing!! I just wish parking there was easier.

Queens Night Market used to be a worthwhile spot to go for the summer. The new management that has taken over has ruined it. The people are packed in like sardines! You don’t get to sample multiple foods as queues are 45+ minutes long. You pay $6 for tiny portion of food.

Love the variety of stalls that felt like a global buffet with all the difficult cultural/ethnic food options. Food were absolutely delicious and capped at $6, which was very affordable (remember to bring cash! If not, there’s an ATM! - a few stalls allowed other payment options), and even though the lines looked long and bad, they moved surprisingly quite fast. There were also other stalls with things to do and artisans to shop from. Also, loved the live music and the chance to chill with friends.

Food and handicraft stalls from the local vendors. Nowhere in queens you would get to eat such variety of food from various different cuisines of the world! This is like the ultimate food stop. Most of the food are priced anywhere between $5-$10. Parking is a big hassle, and unless you want to keep taking rounds looking for a parking spot, take the 7 train/ or bus.

Wow wow we wow 👌🏼 with the prices being set as a max of $6, nearly everyone was $5, and you can afford eating at multiple places. And that goes the same for the portion size that leaves room for more plates. If you're going to chill there for a few hours, I suggest bringing either a throw blanket to sit on the ground or a folding chair. There was music the whole time, too. Squid skewer, dumplings, ceviche, Shumai, Ethiopian, Afghan...yadda yadda badda bing

Truly a gem. Stay with me. I was kind of apprehensive when first deciding to go. Sometimes I feel that food markets are not great because you don’t get to try a lot of foods either because it’s not a good bang for your buck or it’s so much food at each place that doesn’t allow you to eat more. However!!!!! Queens Night Market knows how to run a market. Firstly, majority of dishes are 6 dollars or less. Secondly, the portion sizes are perfect. They are big enough to share and still ear from more venders. For example, you may get 3-4 dumplings. To me, that’s fine because I just want to taste and move on to something else. I left feeling satisfied. Third, they had adult beverages to purchase - beer, wines, cider. Okay - let’s talk about what I ate. The corn fritters were incredible. They were crispy, had a nice balance of salty and sweet, and the sauce on top was delicious (described as a sweet soy sauce). Next, the Tibetan momos were delish. I forget which flavor we got but it was so flavorful that I think they all are good. My friend got chicken and shrimp wontons and said they were great. The papusa was the only meh thing I got. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best I ever had. It last some flavor. I would try a meat style one next time instead of just getting the cheese one. The chicken skewers were good! Had a nice bbq style sauce on them. The shredded beef plantain boat was out of this world. The salty sweet combo made it so delightful. I would 100000% get it again…first….so I can eat the whole thing. I wish the ratio of meat to plantain was better though. My friends said the sesame peanut noodles were good! I couldn’t leave without getting the soy sauce pan fried noodles. I saw them all over TikTok and knew I had to get them. I loved how thin they were. It didn’t make them feel like a heavy dish. The flavor was spot on. I will 1000% get them again in a different flavor. To finish on a sweet night, I for the twister cake cone. I like that the cone wasn’t not a traditional cone and more doughy but still firm. The coating was sweet but not overly sweet. The ice cream was good. Overall, a successful adventure. I can’t wait to go back.

Excellent variety of international cuisine. There is upper limit of prices (6$ during 2023 season) for the dish. My favorite dishes were beef chicken skewers from Malaysia, Jerk chicken and of course ice cream from Romania. Long lines to restrooms is negative part. Otherwise, everyone needs to visit!

They’ve got something for everyone. Parking might be tricky, so get here early. There’s a $15 lot adjacent to the market. If you’re an adventurous eater, this is the place for you. Lots of food and drink options in the $5 range, so you can try several items before you begin to feel full.

A fun cultural food experience. Worth experiencing at least once per season. I'd definitely recommend going at opening as it gets more crowded as the night goes on.

Great set up and an amazing array of choices. Go early. The lines at 630 PM were ridiculous!! Take cash. A lot of the stores are only at the Market so you get some great hidden gems.

saw online that there was a queens night market with a wide selection of Asian food and decided to check it out. It's a bit of a commute if you are coming from Manhattan (18 stops on the 7 train from Times Square). Once you get there, 111st, also at least a 10min walk passing the NY Hall of Science. We got there just as gates were opening. The first booths you see are the Art vendors, all on the farthest left. I made a list of food booths that I wanted to try with the booth number but there were not numbered so I initially chose based on the popularity (if there was a line) First one was the Nomad Dumplings (Tibetan Mormos) where I got an order of chicken and beef. It was just OK considering I was in line for at least 15 mins. I then lined up for the Brazilian Steak Sandwich which was also just OK. There were additional goodies there to get (chocolate desserts..yummy). Next, I tried the Tada Noodles booth for Korean Spicy Chicken (which tasted pretty ordinary). For drinks, I went to Mr Bocadillos for the sugar cane juice. Woah, yummy! I then decided to pick up some desserts to go. First stop was the Dough Club for a Mochi donut. Next was Janies pie crust cookies where I got one of each. As I still was not pleased with my main course dishes, decided to line up one more time and I selected C Bao for the duck (so so) and beef bulgogi ( excellent) buns. For a last hurrah, my wife wanted to try the Singaporean booth (Lion City Coffee) but line was just too long. We then saw fried ice cream and we got the chocolate scoop. Now, that was good! A few vendors accept venmo but suggest you bring cash. As it was almost 8pm, we then headed for the exit to begin our trek back home. If you live nearby, the Queens Night Market is worth visiting. As mentioned, there were art vendors that may be of interest. Unfortunately, if it's a commute for you (at least an hr 20mins one way) might not be worth time and effort. Also, just because there is a line at a particular food booth doesn't mean food is good..
