We have stayed at the Le Boot several times in the late 90s and early 2000s. Those stays went well without issue and the location was older (there have been renovations since then). So to present day. I take into account the pandemic has been a problem for many businesses related to hiring staff. The Le Boot has struggled the past few days having units ready by their 3 pm check-in. It might be better if they changed to 4 pm or you arrive later. We occupy three units, 201, 206 and 301. Keep in mind that the entire unit is not A/C equipped. There is a large A/C unit in the bedroom, but it really does nothing for the rest of the units. I should also note the units are privately owned and the Le Boot manages them. So you will find some units looking amazing and others just ok. Don’t expect daily visits by the staff for fresh towels , trash removal and floor sweeping. We knew in advanced that the bed sheets were there for a week unless there was a problem then they would come in. We are actually t the Le Boot this week, 6/12-19, 2022. Our unit 206, is not fully renovated, but was ok and meets are basic needs. What I mean by that is don’t base your expectations on the photo gallery. It meets are needs, we are simple easy going people. However, the refrigerator is a freezer. No matter the setting all of our food we brought is freezing in the refrigerator part of the unit. 3 dozen eggs frozen. Now, I can live with managing what I need to do in most food cases. However, losing the salad products was very frustrating. I reported this to the office and was told they would notify the unit owner and it is their responsibility to fix it. That does not addressed any of the food we lost due to freezing. The A/C unit works, but the compressor is extremely loud when it turns on and will most likely wake you during the night. Still an owner problem. My son is in 201 and they seem to be mostly happy. The mattresses are borderline needed replaced and they deal with the same A/C concerns related to the outer areas of the unit. 301, the in-laws are using their mattresses must be replaced asap. Same A/C concerns. The outside is well taken care of and the pool is wonderful. All three grills are clean and in great shape as well as the picnic area to eat at. If the Le Boot could address the cleaning concerns (we have just taken it upon ourselves to take trash out and drop and ask for new towels) for check-in and daily serve as well as unit concerns and not rely on the owners, it would be a 4/5 star. To be honest, I booked with the “Le Boot” and not the owner of the units and I feel they should be taking care of interior unit concerns, but I just don’t see that happening. I should note that their was staff in-arguing that we have witnessed in the office and outside of units. The office incident related to bad mouthing other staff in front of guests and there was a foul mouth issue the children could hear at the pool that I had to address. Please understand that we are enjoying our vacation and working around concerns at the Le Boot. We have never been those people that let others ruin our time, we just need to find fixes. To end, we will not return to the Le Boot and are looking at other locations around Wildwood for next year because we all want to come back to Wildwood. I just feel it is important o share so you can make informed decisions. Our review is based on our units and what we have seen and had to do. I am sure there are wonderful reviews about other units, interactions with staff and the Le Boot. Please read these as well as you decide. The location right near the beach and boardwalk is why we came back.

As we were arriving after 8pm and there would be noone to check us in, our key was left in our room with the door unlocked. No problem there but when we arrived there were no towels in the room so we were unable to shower before going to bed. We got towels the next day and the staff were apologetic. Later in the afternoon we asked if housekeeping was going to make up the unit. We were told that we should have asked the woman who dropped off the towels. The unit we were in was old and very outdated. The vertical blinds had a strip missing and wouldn't line up so anyone walking by could see inside. Units are pretty small and cramped. The beds were some of the most uncomfortable we have slept in. They are old and have extreme sagging. Feels like you are falling into a hole in the center of the bed. The AC in the bedrooms are extremely loud. Ours would rumble with such intensity the bed would vibrate. It was impossible to sleep with it on so we just shut it off and dealt with heat. Other unit AC are also very loud making it hard to sleep.

This was the worst place I have ever been. We got to the hotel early and was told they would contact us when the room was ready. It was 4pm and no one contacted us. I went to the office and was told it was now ready. We get our keys and headed upstairs ( FYI no elevator) with all our bags. We open the door to find the most disgusting room ever. I go to the office to let them know our family can not stay in this room and was told management was gone for the day. So I decided to email management because I didn’t want to spend another second in that filthy room. We started to look for other hotels in the meanwhile and it was getting late . We were told by most places they would have a vacancy the next day. So I made reservations blindly without knowing what the outcome would be with the current hotel. Finally management reached out and said they would give us a full refund. We packed our car and drove away as fast as we could. I didn’t take photos but did video the place. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much for a room that has rusted chairs, stains on the pull out sofa, toilet paper stuffed holes, bathroom tiles missing and the TVs didn’t work.

Needs a good painting and cleaning. No paper towels. The toilet tissue was the thinnest I have ever in my life seen. No dish towel. Bed was like a board. No towel delivery on the third day. Our family just said the view was good and the pool was nice. Otherwise it was a dump.

We will definitely stay here again. Staff was really friendly. Room was nice and clean. Nice, family oriented place. Great views of the beach and the location to the playground and boardwalk was perfect. My only minor gripe was the pool closed at 6pm. Im not sure if its always that early, but it wouldve been nicer for even a extra hour.

My family and I had an amazing week here. Staff couldn't do enough for us to make our stay amazing!! Very clean and friendly staff. On the beach, you can't get much better than that. Thank you!!!❤️

We loved our stay! The view of the ocean was beyond amazing, the pool was large, clean, and warm and the room was spacious. The location is perfect. It's close to the boardwalk, but it's nice and peaceful since it's at the quieter end. Additionally, the lady in the office(I apologize, but I don't recall her name) was extremely friendly and kind. We will definitely be returning! 😊

Great location! Had the 1 bedroom suite for family of 3, clean and cozy. If you want to spend a lot of time in the suite you may be cramped. It was great for us as we stay on the beach for most of the day, would come back swim for a while, shower and head out to dinner and then off to the boardwalk. The staff was great!! Hunter was VERY helpful and accommodating.

Our experience was horrible. We were there with 2 year old twins. Unit was small, outdated, mold on the pillow in the bedroom, bathroom light not secured to the wall, dirty dishes, filthy bowls, chipped paint in the bedroom outdated, rusty lamps, mattresses are thin, old and just plain horrible ! I have absolutely nothing good to say about the room rental . Only positive is close to beach, close to boardwalk and outside property taken care of very well. But the individual rental was awful. Try to somehow find out what room you’re staying in and if you can get pictures because to pay the money we paid for this horrible room is a sin. Thank goodness my grandchildren won’t ever remember what a horrible room they were in, but for me, I would never want to go back to le Boot. I took pictures but don’t see anywhere to post them.

It is nice and close to ocean and boardwalk. If you want a fancy hotel this is not it, but if you want a family friendly place, that has utensils for cooking etc. Also has a pool this place has it.

Good location. Place looks like it was stuck in the 80s and high prices. But we enjoyed our stay!
