Staff was phenomenal! So sweet and helpful. The only reason I’m giving 1 star, is because the owner allows appointments to be made every 5 minutes onlines but yet there is over a 2 hour wait when you arrive. They had to turn away walk-ins and create a list of people with appointments to be called. I understand it is the season for people to get sick, however this location is either not well staffed, or appointments should only be allowed every 30 minutes.

Great experience. The front seat greeted me and explained my check in process which was easy. They Quickly took me in, took their time. The PA was well informative. Definitely recommend.

I had prepared all the necessary paperwork and made an appointment in advance, hoping for a smooth and efficient experience. However, despite my efforts, I was left waiting for a whole hour before being attended to. Understandably frustrated, I voiced my concerns about the wait time, which prompted the Physician Assistant (PA) to finally come and see me. Unfortunately, the time spent with the PA was limited to just 5 minutes.

The staff were thorough especially the tech and the NP. Waiting time was deplorable we booked today's appt. two days before for an appt at 11:00. The room was full and she told us they would call us in two hours. We had to call them twice to find out when we could see the he doctor and ended up being seen around 4:47 and waited another 20 minutes in the waiting room.

Awful. Didn’t do any test for Covid, RSV, Flu even though I was complaining of shortness of breath. Instead PA was insistent on giving me ekg and seemed insistent that I had a heart issue or a blood clot because my heart rate was raised. Finally agreed to try a nebulizer treatment which helped my breathing. I understand they want to err on safety regarding possible heart issues- but why immediately focus on that when there were factors that seem much more likely- I had previously had a cold a few days before, have asthma and was starting to feel ill again. I came home upset and anxious and with no answers. Lo and behold a quick google search immediately let me know the most plausible diagnosis based on my symptoms is bronchitis. Cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, sore chest. If the PA had been any sort of good diagnostician she would have, Id think, see that as the more likely cause of my symptoms. Asking good questions and really listening to patients is a lost art form. This used to be my go to Urgent Care but my last 2 visits have been unhelpful and downright negligent.

Really helpful and convenient. Even though it was a long wait I was able to go and come back. The front desk accommodated me an appointment even though there was so many people in front of me. Everyone was extremely friendly. This was my first time going to an urgent care and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Was having symptoms so I called them to see if I could walk-in and they took me right away. All the staff, including the guy at the front desk were just absolutely great. Polite, efficient and took time to answer questions. Always have had a good experience at this location.

I showed up when they were just opening for the day, completed the registration and sat down. I was quickly sent to exam room where a pleasant young guy took my vitals then saw PA who examined me. She explained what she thought was the issue and what she thought I should do. Overall a useful visit. Will definitely go back when needed.

The actual care was good and the people were friendly and did a good job but I do have to say I made an online appointment for 8:45am and didn't even get brought back into the room until 10:15am. That is absurd. When a woman came in after me and asked the receptionist if they were running on time, the receptionist just said "there are a few people ahead of you" when she should have said they were running well over an hour behind. Not happy that I wasted my entire morning off waiting.

I efficiently secured my spot online and upon arrival, I experienced a seamless process without any waiting time. The staff provided exceptional service and handled my needs with utmost professionalism. It was a pleasant visit overall, with a great atmosphere and wonderful people who ensured I received top-notch care.

Excellent experience with Excel urgent care and the PA Mike. Quick but attentive appointment with no waiting time. Reception was very responsive with questions about a prescription.

I was very happy with the care I received at the Excel Urgent Care of East Northport. The receptionist, medical assistant and physicians assistant were all pleasant and helpful. I have used this service many times and I'm happy with there service.

You can feel pretty confident that you’ll get in and out within an hour. Plenty of parking. Been there a handful of times and never had a bad experience. I don’t want to take away a star but I like being acknowledged when I walk in with even just a quick nod and maybe a “have a seat and I’ll be right with you” from the receptionist. Most people walking in don’t feel well and I had to ask if I should sit down which made it awkward when a new patient walked in bc I had to jump up and claim my place in line bc I wasn’t sure if the receptionist even knew I was there. Once in I was seen immediately by a calm young MA who took my vitals after he left It wasn’t a terribly long wait but there was only one person ahead of me. Felt long. Especially when you’re not feeling well. Then the PA came in and she was pleasant, cheerful even, which is nice, and efficient. A nice smile from the receptionist and I was out and over to the pharmacist. The PA had called in my script right away and it was ready!

Yesterday, 3/14/2023, I went to the Urgent Care office but before I got there, I had called and the calmness and knowledge of the person on the phone put me at ease to know that when I arrive, I would be taken care of properly. Also, the entire medical staff is knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and professional. In my opinion. I think this particular Urgent Care location has the best medical team of professionals! Thank you for your service and knowledge and humanitarian approach! You are appreciated.

I came in with some swelling of my upper throat from an allergic response to food. It was my first time experiencing this and I did not know what to do so my husband drove me to the closest urgent care. The person at the front was kind but the staff member who treated me was extremely frazzled. I don't know who he was and what his role was because nobody introduced themselves or even had badges on, but his panic made me panic even more than I already was panicking. He said he doesn't usually work at this location as an excuse for why he couldn't locate anything, even the IV benadryl. An ambulance had to be called and I was taken to Huntington Hospital ED. There was not even a doctor at this urgent care and the EMS made comments about that. I won't rely on this facility again, the staff clearly were not properly trained.

The office staff was extremely friendly. I had no wait whatsoever. I was in and out for the whole thing in five minutes. I also commented on how beautiful the office is! I love the furniture and Decour. It does not have the same sterile look that most medical offices have. Five star experience all around! I will definitely go back there over another walk in center when needed!

The doctor on call today, June 23, 2023, Dr. Castro, was excellent! She remedied my issue and I felt confident that she diagnosed me in the most complete way. Front desk, Julian, was a treat and very thorough. It was a busy day but I am so glad I went in and was able to get excellent care.

My husband went in on 5/19/23 with an injury that occurred at home. The Staff was so quick at helping my husband with taking his info and getting him ready to get stitched. He was so well taken care of that I highly recommend this Urgent care. Staff is friendly, polite, quick, knowledgeable and they make you feel like family. I cannot thank them enough!!!!!

All staff very pleasant and professional. Quiet office setting. 4of the staff dealt with me. Had EKG and it was done in a way to make me comfortable. I would recommend them.

I highly recommend that if you are in need of an immediate medical appointment with a professional and caring team this is where you want to go. The waiting room as well as the exam rooms are impeccably clean which sets the tone that you are in good hands. The staff while waiting to see the Dr. keeps you informed makes you feel comfortable before the exam. The Dr. was patient, informative and made sure all my concerns were addressed before leaving. My experience exceeded my expectations and I would give more stars if given the option. Great teamwork and customer service at this office.

I love this place more than my PCP. They’re always fast, efficient & polite. I’ve gone in when I’m under the weather & also for COVID testing (which they also provide really fast results for). They alao actually answer the phone (hallelujah).

I was in a patient room in short order and visited by a very nice nurse. She took my vitals, and I was seen by a very nice PA that handled my issue with professionalism and a sincere concern. Everyone I encountered was helpful and accomodating.

The girls at the desk were very efficient and personable. The check in went very quickly. The nurse took my temp and ox lev and then stabbed me and returned in 10 minutes with the results. I am very appreciative of the quick and professional service. Thank you

Everyone was nice, the place was clean and the wait was short. The doctor was knowledgeable and thorough and they have an X-ray machine on site. It was a great experience- especially when primary doctors will not see patients with a cough!

The doctor was great, but the waiting was over an hour and I had an appointment. They should just take walk-ins and it would probably be a lot smoother. Waiting over an hour for a “doc in the box” is not was I was planning on a Saturday morning.

The waiting room needs updating. Not many places to sit. But then I again I was the only one in there .I walked in with chest pain The receptionist was not very comforting nor friendly. I waited about 30 minutes (The receptionists was on the phone discussing $ 20.00 an hour job for someone on the other line) I could also hear 2 women laughing and giggling .in the back. Finally in a exam room . The doctors assistant . asked me why I was there.. and commented " why I saw fit to be there if I have chest pain? " OMG what.. "because I thought you can handle it.. " she leaves and 5 minutes later... She opens my door to show some man (maintenance guy I assume) one of the lights are out in that room. ( Even the maintenance man commented " there's a patient in that room !! '). This doctor s assistant just giggled and shut the door. The doctor was nice she seemed to know what to do. But couldn't get me an X-ray nor take blood. The tech who could was not working today. . the doctor advised me to go to the hospital or find a cardiologist.. What a Waist of time .

I scheduled an online appointment for same day visit as a new patient for my daughter, and after arriving, we had short wait time, courteous treatment front desk staff, and Dr De La Torre was compassionate and attentive to my daughter’s injury. Great experience and will return to this urgent care before others nearby. Thank you!!

When I need it, this is my go-to clinic for immediate care. Everyone from the receptionists, nurses, PA's and doctors are kind and attentive. Wish I could come here for my regular primary care visits. The staff are definitely very interested in their patients, and they never "rush you out ". Wonderful resource if you need it!

Excel Urgent Care excels on all fronts. Clean and spacious waiting room. Courteous and competent receptionist, friendly and knowledgeable nurse and wonderful doctor. I went for a PCR test, was quite nervous about having something put up my nose, but the nurse was reassuring and calmed me down. She performed the test quickly and with minimal discomfort. The nurse and doctor were knowledgeable and proficient. I would definitely go back there again. I also like that you can schedule an appointment in line. Easy and quick.

The receptionist was very nice and friendly. Did the best she could to make my waiting time less than expected. The Doctor was very clear in her explanation of what was going on with me, the root of my problem, and she made sure I understood her recommendations. I’m very happy and impressed with their service.
