Bad
neighbors.
Since
the
day
they
moved
in,
they
been
playing
loud
music,
but
what
makes
them
bad
neighbors
is
that
they
have
been
playing
loud
music
at
5:15
to
5:45
am,
several
times
a
week,
in
violation
of
the
town
of
Babylon
noise
ordinance.
Numerous
phone
calls
to
ask
to
turn
the
music
down,
go
unheeded.
When
the
gym
was
being
constructed,
they
were
also
testing
the
sound
system,
with
the
fire
door
open.
I
live
right
behind
the
gym.
The
super
of
the
complex
spoke
to
the
manager
and
was
told
that
more
insulation
would
be
added
to
cut
down
the
noise.
I
ask
the
area
manager,
and
the
store
manager
to
park
their
cars
on
Monday
morning
at
5:00
am,
and
hear
how
loud
the
noise
in.
I
ask,
but
it'll
never
happen.
It
was
so
quiet
when
the
gym
was
closed
during
COVID.

Sadly
I
find
myself
having
to
comment
on
more
issues,
so
I
guess
you
can
say
this
is
"Bad
Neighbors
Part
2".
On
Monday
the
26th,
between
the
hours
of
9:30
and
10:30,
there
was
loud
music
coming
from
the
back
of
the
building
that
house's
the
gym.
I
looked
to
see
if
there
was
a
parked
car
where
the
music
might
be
coming
from.
When
I
say
'loud
music
'
it
was
so
loud,
the
pictures
on
my
wall
were
shaking,
the
windows
were
vibrating
and
the
water
in
my
fish
tank
was
splashing.
I
couldn't
see
any
cars
that
the
music
was
coming
from,
so
it
had
to
be
the
gym.
I
have
a
line
of
sight
to
the
gyms
fire
door,
I
wanted
to
see
if
it
was
propped
open.
It
wasn't.
I
called
the
gym,
spoke
to
a
guy
and
asked,
nicely,
if
the
music
and
the
PA
system
could
be
turned
down
some.
I
heard
the
music
over
the
phone
so
I
knew
that
was
the
cause
of
the
noise.
The
guy
said
"I'll
see
what
I
can
do."
Surprise
surprise,
nothing
happened.
In
fact,
I
started
to
feel
that
the
music
was
getting
louder
not
softer.
The
next
day,
the
exact
same
thing
happened,
including,
including
the
response
from
the
guy
on
the
phone!
Today?,
I
expect
the
same
thing
to
happen.
No
one
there
cares
about
the
neighborhood,
not
the
employees,
not
the
manager
and
not
the
owner.
I
do
feel
sorry
for
the
employees
and
the
customers,
who,
in
5
to
10
years,
will
suffer
from
hearing
loss.
