First impression: empty but cozy. Service was okay but can be better. The menu is pricey! However, there are many aspects that bring Jack Jack’s to a 4 star. Their coffee is spot on. Their omelette, which took a little while to make, was worth the wait. Fantastic food. And it was brought out to me. Excellent. The gentleman was able to grind my coffee from home. That’s a plus (although I did already spend $15, i usually figure it should be thrown in graciously). A test I give coffee houses is what’s their policy on refils? So, it’s charged full price here. At Southdown in Huntington, it’s free while staying. So, i’ll cut this review short. The food was worth it. The coffee is the bomb. The music is on point. Ample amount of seeting. The prices are up there! And the service can improve slightly. Overall, thank you for the experience.

Best place to go for pour over coffee. They have a good selection, and they have this cool automated pour over coffee machine so they come out faster and taste perfect, and surprisingly the pour overs aren't terribly expensive. Also the atmosphere, service, and clientele are all very cozy and welcoming.

Nothing better on a cold windy March day than I never cup of hot coffee. Jack Jack has really good coffee. Not expensive, many choices from lattes to coffee from the pot. Nice flavor medium coffee. Friendly staff, fast service, so worth the wait. Coffee cake is huge so much incredible crumb topping. Moist cake lots of powdered sugar. Messy but worth it.

So our search for the best coffee shop continues and this time it lands us in Babylon village. Jack jacks coffee house is a cute comfortable spot right in the heart of the village. Coffee and breakfast choices are plentiful…I picked the all day egg sandwich and it was delicious! If you find yourself in the area you gotta stop in and grab a quick cup of Joe.

This was a fun place to come after a local trail walk today...it was 30 degrees and windy out there! 😳 For under $20 we each had hot chocolate and shared a couple of very tasty grilled sandwiches...an Ultimate Grilled Cheese and an Avocado with Tomato and Arugula with a delicious mayo based spread on fresh foccacia...bacon (not pork-based) was on the side because only one of us is a vegetarian!! 😋 We really liked how dog-friendly it was...eventually we surmised that the place was named after a beloved dog named Jack Jack!

Good food and coffee! People that hang out here are fairly quiet and pleasant. The staff is super friendly and the playlist sounds like my own. Also, that damn egg Sammy. I dream about it.

I’ve been to this coffee shop twice and both times the man at the front didn’t bother to respond to me upon me saying hello and goodmorning. He got up from his chair but never even bothered to look at me. The first time I let it slip and now this second time just now, I left the shop without purchasing anything.

Nice little coffee shop in Babylon. The food's always a hit and is delicious. The coffee too is superb, and they're quick with getting orders out to you.

I’ve been exploring coffee shops of Long Island lately and this has been the very best so far! We got breakfast potatoes we didn’t know we were getting that were fresh tasting and so well seasoned, the sandwiches were on pretzel croissants and I’ve never had such a good breakfast sandwich! The coffee tastes perfect, it came out quickly and the staff was so friendly. They had a beautiful dog named Bruno wearing a security shirt that kissed my hand and let me give him some petting. The art on the wall is beautiful, and for sale and the atmosphere is just such a good one. I left in such an amazing mood.

Excellent coffee house with a great atmosphere and plenty of seating. Had a pumpkin flavor latte that was full of flavor. I will return when visiting the town of Babolyn

Usually I am buying cappuccino coffee, last time didn’t tastes good , he made so quick , milk was cold. Croissant tastes horrible , has some funky smells, definitely not fresh .

I went here all the time with my mother when I was younger, And I walked in a month or two ago and it brought back amazing and fun memories, I love this place! The drinks are amazing! And so is the food! If anyone is looking for somewhere to eat and get a drink this is the perfect place!

Coffee is good and only the coffee ! Don’t get the food . They use like cheap disgusting cheese & the Belgian waffles tasted like pure sugar . I got a BEC on croissant & for it to tasted like that you would think it’s from PA not NY quality . Sorry I know it’s a coffee shop but others on the island had actual good food but such a waste a money lol

The food is so delicious that I had to buy a second BEC. Clean and Vegan friendly. Definitely will be back.

I ordered a hot latte with oatmilk and caramel and it was very delicious. I’ve been craving it ever since and can’t wait to go back. The quality was really good and the service was very friendly.

Three strikes you're out. Really pricey and mediocre. I really tried this place three times to avoid supporting big chain Starbucks but yikes, 6 bucks for a iced latte which was 99% milk.

An inviting coffee shop situated on a pedestrian-friendly street teeming with small businesses. All of the employees are friendly (and patient) and willing to help you figure out what you’d like to order. Jack Jack’s sells coffee (of course), teas, smoothies, and a small assortment of pastries and vegan food products. There’s free WiFi and plenty of seating. You can sit at a table or on a stool near the front looking out at the picturesque street. Metered parking is available in front of the shop and on side streets, but there is a free municipal parking lot about a block away (across from the church). If you get hungry and want more options there’s lots of food options within walking distance.

Very chill and nice little coffee shop. I got a green smoothie with oat milk. They offer a lot of different drinks and food options. Very good for vegan and vegetarians. I have not had their food or pastries, but they always look really good when I visit this place. Good place to hang out and get work done as they have a lot of chairs and tables of you want to sit and relax for a little bit.

Coffee, atmosphere, food & (most) of the staff were great -- details below :) The coffee is just right; vanilla latte tastes like good coffee & not overly sweet. Bacon egg sandwich on gluten free bread was flavorful. Some of the staff is welcoming. The atmosphere is decorated well, with paintings, and bright sunlight. + good amount of tables.

Good over priced coffee with "I know better than you" staff. Let's just say you get a snotty attitude directed towards you. I cannot vouch for any bitings, which I didn't try. I did ask for a take-out menu though, which the barista said I couldn't get because the kitchen was closed :/ The place has potential though, and that's my 2 cents

Love this place! My fiance and I went on a little brunch date here and we were not disappointed. The customer service is super accommodating and helpful, and even the customers tend to all be friendly and in good moods. The atmosphere is very chill and laid-back. Great place to work remotely or for a small coffee date, solo or with a partner. We got the egg/sausage sandwich and the rainbow wrap. I usually never care for rainbow wraps but this one was so flavorful! Seriously if you're having doubts, try it out. You will love every bite. We also got the kanketo cookie sandwiches which are also vegan, healthy, and delicious. Their lattes are perfection and prices were affordable as well. We will definitely be coming back here. The one and only downside I was not happy with was the no-cash charge. I paid with a debit card and was not told beforehand that I would be charged extra. Not very cool.

Just came in for coffee. Great customer service. Very nice people. The regular coffee with cream was bold but smooth. My Honey's decaf was nice too. Freshly brewed so no burnt or bitter taste. The ambiance is great. My Honey loved the energy here and we both thought it was very cozy. We especially enjoyed the art exhibit and how they used old wood windows hanging from the ceiling with twine as a virus barrier. Totally cool. We will be back when we're in the area.

I don't drink coffee, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying Jack Jack's, as they are WAY more than just a run of the mill coffee shop. They have a wide variety of drinks made to perfection and with care, and they cater to your customary wants and needs. The service is amazing, and far more personable than you'll receive at a chain spot, plenty of seats for a small shop to get work done, write the next big novel, get your screenplay finished or just get some quality reading in with a great drink and one of many delicious food items you can order as well. It's just a stones throw away from the Babylon train station, and plenty of parking nearby if the metered spots out front are taken up. Deer Park Ave is a walkers dream, as you can walk up and down the street and enjoy many restaurants and services and you get a nice feel for Babylon, and as the chillier weather of fall approaches, I look forward to my hot Chai Latte from Jack Jacks to be in hand as I enjoy the fall walks through the village.
