Check out The Little Kitchen,a charming gem across from the Wantagh train station. They serve breakfast and lunch, and although a limited menu they are focused on quality. I had the eggplant parm special which was delicious! It tasted homemade and everything about it was yum, but the ciabatta bread really made it come together, and I only ate half then had enough for 2 lunches. Hoping this place has a long run!

I fell upon this little place on my way to the train station! It’s newly open and full of charm, and it’s lovely to have a coffee shop so near the train! The people running it were kind and welcoming, and clearly already have a devoted following in the community. In the 15 minutes I was in the shop two separate groups of people came in who had clearly been there before, raving about the coffee and the blueberry lemon cake. I had a decaf coffee (freshly brewed) and a chocolate chip banana loaf (delicious). The lovely woman who helped me also through in a cookie (thank you so much 💜). Take a trip to Little Kitchen, it’s lovely.

Little kitchen in one word...yummy! Great baked stuff from Lina, fab sandwiches, soup from Carlo. Love it all. Table service with dishes, not paper, a home touch we appreciate.

A budding hidden gem in Wantagh. Have been there twice. Twice as good. Twice had the breakfast frittata with a side order of their meatballs. A great breakfast. Fresh homemade cooking at reasonable prices.

Great local breakfast/lunch spot. Friendly staff and good service. Highly recommend the Burrata Ponino. Will be back again soon!

From sandwiches made from the freshest ingredients, to the desserts, the catering, and even the coffee, I can't rave about this place enough. You won't want to take your food to go, either. You'll stay for the warm and comfortable decor (so cute!) and the conversation. Great food. Great people.

I just had the most delightful lunch earlier today! You would swear you were eating at home with family! Everything is fresh!! I had Nonna’s best meatballs on a hero! Best indeed!! A must!
