😐 It’s unfortunate, they make a good sandwich but many employees have bad attitudes and blatantly don’t want to deal with people. “Foods of Italia” is far superior in this aspect. Friendly & thankful to be there. My new go-to People often mention good, years, time,

The owners son-in-law is so nasty I was there yesterday I kindly asked him if he can help me with something he started yelling that he was taking care of another customer, no reason to raise your voice been shopping there for 20 years no more. He needs to change his attitude.

We catered a private party with your food. We opened the trays and the food looked fine. Then, 30 mins into serving, several guests approached us and said "the food was bland and without taste." There were 3 long hairs (blondish brown) in the penne alla vodka, peppers were dry tasting and "the sauce" in the chicken parm was bland. My thoughts: This might have been a one time "ooopsy", but food and the preparation of food is something guest want to enjoy, not get sick from. Word of mouth is still a very powerful tool..and the guests last night were all saying "the food is always good at Joe's" just not today. My advice - please do your very best to prepare, sell and guaranty quality tasting food from your kitchen. "Catered Food" can make or break a business; and during the busiest months of the summer...don't let your quality rating drop.

I wanted to order, and pay for, IN FULL, IN ADVANCE, 2 party heroes for my son's group home over the phone. "sorry, has to be in person." So I explain to THE OWNER that it's for my son's group home and I have a close contact with someone with Covid and they still wouldn't take my order. In fairness, their foods are delicious even if they are aggressively unfriendly. I'll be spending my money elsewhere.

Catering order was just ok Chicken Francese are usually whole or 1/2 pieces of chicken cutlets not bits and pieces from whatever part of the chicken or leftover cuts. It didn’t look very appetizing and some people at the party asked where I got that. The other items were good. The Lady with a heavy Spanish accent was very unfriendly and rude. I know this place for many years and go there frequently. But Service really declined here.

After standing on line for 25 min. The old nasty lady with glasses came up from the back and said hello to the gentleman behind me. Then proceeded to ask him what sandwiches he wanted. I understand we all have our good customers but when there is 15 people ahead of him you don’t do that. I use to go to Joes every Monday and buy my cold cuts. I will no longer be giving them any of my business. This is not the first time I had an issue with that lady.

Been going there for over 20 years. Italian food specialties and still the biggest lunch heroes you can get compared to most deli shops and food chain places. The butcher shop is good and I have never got a bad cut . All and all good old fashioned butcher shop.

It was OK. Definitely nothing to brag about. Stood at the pastry counter for 10 minutes before someone helped me. Keep in mind I had no one a head of me. So I just stood there like a weirdo. I finally ordered which was only 2 canollis and 2 eclaires. No complaints when ordering at all. I also bought a pre-made brownie. I got home the canollis were soggy, the eclaires were stale and the brownies were dry. If you want authentic Italian pastries I do not recommend this place. The market might be good but the bakery is lack luster to say the least. Will never be visiting this place again.

DELI STAFF IF SOOOOOOO SLOW AND ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE! NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL and ALWAYS Ask for your full order at the same time and ALWAYS GET THE ORDER WRONG. I'm on line now and they just screwed up my order again. They walk with no urgency, saunter slowly to look for products. MEANWHILE, the line is backed up to fish. Food is great, staff is terrible

Potato salad is not like it used to be with the egg yolks with more mayonnaise , also you guys got to stop adding mustard in the macaroni salad ! This review is made with respect and kindness to the hard working people at Joes Market and 30 years of shopping at Joes Market PLEASE PUT THE EGG YOLK AND MORE MAYO IN THE PATATO SALAD !

Family owned and offer multiple options of already pre-breaded and marinated cuts of meat and seafood. Semolina bread is the reason why I visit multiple times a week. Don't sleep on those marinades either. That marinated skirt steak is by far the best marinated cut. BUY THE MARINATED SKIRT STEAK!!!

Great mom and pop Italian grocery store. Competitive prices and solid selection. They also have a great bakery department.

Grew up on the Island and currently live in western PA. On a recent trip stopped in to get some NY cold cuts, macaroni and potato salad which I sorely missed. All were horrible. It’s pretty bad when the same products from a PA grocery store chain put you to shame

There wasnt a line to get into the store, but there was a very long line to check out. We were surprised by how quickly it moved & our wait time was maybe 10 minutes.

Joe’s has good quality 85% of the time. Every so often I go in and it seems like they forgot they own a store. The rest of the time it is fantastic. Service in sub par except for the butcher and deli. In those two areas, they are awesome and very helpful. It’s like they’re almost awesome. I will continue to frequent this place.

This place has the rudest cashiers. Been coming here 4 years now, I’ll go in say good morning/afternoon and they just won’t respond and they’ll always act like I’m bothering them.

Joe’s is the best. Food is amazing, and at a great price. Where else are you gonna get a 2 pound heavy hero of excellent chicken parmesan for 8$? Their cannolis are heavenly, as well as all the other offerings from the bakery. Tried so many different things, and they’ve all been good. High-quality food at great prices.

Great Italian Market with prepared foods. Chicken cutlets, pasta salads, lasagna etc. All fresh with quality ingredients. Prices very fair. My wife has been going for years.

This establishment has become my weekly route, the bread they bake is the best I have eaten in Long Island, I usually bought it at the supermarket, and the truth is, I would not digest it very well, until I discovered what it is now my favorite Italian bread. I recommend it!!!

😠 I am a loyal customer to this location since I’ve moved to this area and have always had great experiences. There’s a man in his mid to late 20’s who was working today and is nothing but disgustingly rude. I will go to the Barn in Lindenhurst instead and give them my business. Will never ever go her...
