Love this place! They have great specials Monday to Thursday so we went for the Monday night pasta special! There are so many options to choose from and the portions are great. Will be back again!

Went on Palm Sunday....busy lil dinner crowd. Only 2 people on for wait staff but they held their own and everything was served timely. Food was fresh and delicious! Love their front-end pizza counter too, a variety to choose from. A lovely little gem right off Sunrise Highway in Babylon area.

For me my Pizza rating is 2 out of 5 My Reason Pizza review Crust is 3 out of 5 crispy but some how doughy Flavor or toppingis 2 out of 5 bland little to no flavor Sauce is 1 out of 5 bland little to no flavor Cheese is 1 out of 5 bland little to no flavor Prices is 4 out of 5 reasonable I also got garlic knots crispy one the out side very very doughy inside. Like it wasn’t done cooking. Overall it wasn’t good. We’ve all had better. The staff are very nice and helpful. But if you’re looking for a good slice this is not the place for you.

We came here for a birthday dinner. The food was out of this world. Garlic knots, app platter, salad, penne alla vodka, chicken parm and gelato were amazing. Our service was also steller. We don't live close but I would definitely love to go back there. Pizza looked amazing as well.

Stopped in for a quick snack. Wound up sharing a Grandma Vodka & Shrimp Pesto slice with my wife. Both were absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere and friendly service!

It’s been 10 years since we left NY and we really don’t miss it but I will say Cafe Gio made it feel like home for a little bit. We did dinner privately one night and the waitress was awesome. It reminded us of our origins and before you knew it our accent was flyin again! The food was great, prices were a little high but what isn’t these days. The next day we brought the entire family back after the funeral of my mother-in-law. We had a great afternoon. We laughed, we smiled, and we celebrated her life together and Cafe Gio staff was incredible. I am very thankful for their service. The food was awesome, and what beats a NY Cannoli, ahhh? It was perfect. Thank you, to all Cafe Gio staff. We appreciate you.

First off: the food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. The place is clean and very nice inside. Sometimes if work is crazy and we get out late, we order food and it’s ready quickly. We’ve ordered from here many times over the years. Secondly: the prices have gone up exorbitantly. We ordered two regular salads with grilled chicken and the price was $28.95 EACH!! Very small portion no less. That’s insane for a pizzeria to charge $30 for a salad. To put it into context, a few weeks ago we went to the diner and got a sandwich, a wrap (with sides and coleslaw/pickle), 1 dessert and with tip it was $50 plus we had leftovers. I think we need to find a less expensive place for a bit. I understand inflation but a head of lettuce isn’t that much. It’s crazy.

I got penne ala-vodka for 30.36 $ way over priced. The food was good at all, penne Ala vodka wasn’t creamy enough and they put scallion over it which I’ve never heard of and it just doesn’t taste right. The taste of the scallions overpowers everything else. The sauce was very watery. Not enough vodka for better taste. The chicken on top was okay. Over all the dish just didn’t taste like penne ala vodka. At least the penne was perfectly cooked. But that’s about it. Totally not worth the 30$, That’s crazy i get it inflation but it’s just pene ala vodka. I didn’t even dine in. So there wasn’t any type of waiter/waitress service.

I took my son to dinner for his birthday and had a slice of the rigatoni ala vodka pizza. Oh my goodness, absolutely fantastic! Best pizza I ever had. Will be getting a whole pie next time :) Our waitress Jenn was super friendly and very pleasant:)

The rise and fall of Cafe Gio…. I’ve been here all my life and watched this go from the best pizza place in the world to absolute garbage. They’ve made all their speciality slices worse and worse over the years. Now, well done cheese pies come chock full of uncooked breadcrumbs. Waste of pizza. Waste of cafe Gio. RIP what used to be the best.

I had a slice of regular pizza. My one star is them charging $2.75 for a 12oz can of soda. If it was a 20oz bottle I could say ok even though it is on the high side if it were a bottle. This is why we're going into a recession.

The best shrimp pesto pizza. You can't get this anywhere. All the pizza is good.

Pizza is good, but the guy (tall bald dude) who works the counter had NEVER given me a good experience. Always rude as hell to me and then a man walks in and gets treated with respect. It’s gross. The girl who works the counter is extremely kind and helpful. This guy is never in a good mood and leaves me annoyed everytime I go.

Went the first time forvthe Thursday night specials menu. There are alot of selections but the dinners do not come complete with salad and/or pasta. Everything is additional charge. I've eaten here before off of the regular menu where the food seemed fresher. This night the chicken cutlets were paper thin and dry. The stuffed sole, the breaded stuffing seemed to have raw or undercooked shrimp. Not sure how fresh either of these 2 dishes were. We may give pasta night a try and hope they drain it better after cooking it so that the sauce is not watery.

Over salted potatoes in chicken gorgonzola, i got the meatballs, ravioli and lasagna they forget the lasagna but later gave it to me on the side, my food was good. Service was good at least they tried to make things right!

Ordered cafe gios chef special tonight let me.tell you it was somee special chicken franchese 17 dollar for 1 and half piece of chicken cutlet didn't come with pasta or salad 3 dollars extra for pasta how is that a special. This is the second time disappointed in cafa gio had a big catering order and ask if it came with bread and I was told no.When you order a 17 dollar piece of chicken you get a whole loaf of bread but you don't with a 350 dollar catering order. Also ordered a gluten free pie and a regular pie I sat there and watched them cut the regular pie and than use the same cutter on the gluten free one so basically paid 14 dollar for a gluten free pie that was no longer gluten free.

Overall great experience! We moved in down the road and have wanted to try this place out. Went with my parents and everyone got a bunch of different plates. Portions were large, but happy with bringing home lunch for tomorrow. Their house special with chicken broccoli and pasta was really delicious!

We've been going here for decades and can honestly say they have consistently wonderful food! Always fresh ingredients! The best salads! Love their sauce! Only place I know that has such accommodating owners who are ALWAYS friendly and generous. Staff and service equally wonderful!

Highly recomend Delicious!!! We ordered via Door dash app and the meal was amazing!!! Everything arrived Hot, with warm bread.. The Stuffed Porkchops were great and we also ordered a dish with Pork Braciole?? It was so soft you didnt even need a knife, even something as simple as salad dressing was a homestyle version of creamy italian and that was amazing as well... Long story short, i wish i had more room....will be having a few leftovers Saturday and Sunday, i can tell you that much...Thanks again.
