Great bakery for Italian pastries. We were sent here to get a selection of Italian pastries and everything was good. The selection isn’t huge but the quality is there. The shop has the fresh bakery that makes really good Italian pastries and cakes. Then they also have a ready to eat deli with a nice selection of meats, vegetables and antipasto’s. The grocery section was a little shabby (that is the reason for the 4 stars) and I would only go to the grocery section if I didn’t have time to go to a bigger market or if I needed some specialty item. The meat counter looks fresh but we haven’t tried anything from there. I would recommend this place for the bakery/pastries but the rest I would give a pass.

This past weekend we had a family christening with about 75 people. I called Salpinos and spoke to Larry. He was extremely accomodating, asked me questions about different things I would never even have thought of. He guided me well as to the amount of food to order. Salpinos was not only able to help with the food, which was absolutely delicious, hot, and very fresh. We ordered chicken parm, penne alla vodka, chichen fingers and french fries for the kids, chicken with mozzarella and roasted pepper hero,as well as another hero, half American, half Italian, and of course all of the salads. The food was outstanding, everyone wanted to know where it came from. Larry was also able to rent us a tent as well as a bounce house(kids loved it) and two wonderful waitresses, Maria was one and I forgot the other girls name, but they were both outstanding. It made the party planning very easy. Laurie was also extremely helpful in assisting me with questions, and scheduling etc. Great team! No doubt about it, all large gathering at our house will be catered by Salpinos in the future as well. I also love dealing with a family owned local company, that is very important to me to support our community.

Some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The 339.99 holiday meal was a joke. Says it can feed 10 to 12 people? it barley was enough for 6 people. The food was flavorless and bland. They even forgot stuff that was part of the overall meal. This is the second time we used this place for our Christmas Day dinner and this will be the LAST time. Last year was slightly annoying this year was pretty much ruined. There will NOT be a third. No one could stomach how bad the food was. My kids lunch room food had more flavor than this slop. Thank goodness we had left overs from Christmas Eve. I’ll be telling all my 30k followers on ig and my 80k followers on TikTok and my other over 1million followers on my tattoomedia Ink platform. Do yourself a favor if you’re relying on Christmas dinner. DONT USE THIS PLACE!

If I could I would give a 0. We ordered food for New Year’s Eve. We got sausage and peppers, manicotti and garden salad. The sausage was raw the peppers didn’t even taste like peppers and the cheese in the manicotti was dry and the sauce had no flavor. I’ve never been so disappointed. It will be the last time I will order from here.

Salpino’s catered a party in my backyard this past weekend. They provided hot food, bread, salad and coffee for 70 people. Absolutely delicious. . . Eggplant parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and skirt steak were the favorites however, everything was outstanding! This is the second large party they have catered for us and we will never go elsewhere! Your store and your food get 5 stars. I love your store. I love all your food. But I just bought a pound of sprinkle cookies from a very rude lady at the cash register. This is the second time that I have encountered her. The first time, she gave me the wrong sprinkle cookies (the ones with jelly inside) so I brought them back. She got very annoyed and gave me so much attitude saying that I was the one who ordered the wrong thing. I don't know her name but she is the overweight older lady with bleach blond hair. When I came into the store again today to get some sprinkle cookies and some other things, she remembered me and was very abrupt and rude and rehashed our old encounter blaming me again for ordering the wrong thing last time. I have been in retail for many years and know that this woman should not be dealing with customers. She has an attitude and blames the customers for her mistakes.

This place is Great!! The deli food is Always excellent! The cuts of meat are always Fresh. And OMG there bakery has my favorite Italian cookies. Five stars. And their service is always fast and friendly.

Ordered the Montecristo on a hero. I asked for no tomato, no onion, and to add Russian dressing. What do they do? The put tomato, they put onion, and forgot the Russian dressing. In addition, the lettuce did not seem fresh and overall a bad sandwich. Will not be coming back.

Very disappointed. I was ignored by multiple people, I wanted to place a catering order. When i did place the order I questioned if it would be enough food I was told it should be. I tried to speak to a manager and she pushed me off to the salesperson who wasn't helping me . I have never had such awful service.

Got overcharged on one product, returned for refund, got back to the car and saw another wrong charge on another product. Didn't return. Good cookies, good bread, but check your receipt!

Went to the $1 store next door a thousand times and always this place was a small grocery store. Today at work we had the pleasure of having our food catered and OMG!! Everything was amazing!! Eggplant is my favorite and they knocked it out the park!! The Penne, steak over rice, chicken parmigiana, right down to the bread was aaaamaazing!! I've found a new favorite place!!

Really nice stuff. Great to see counter people who know how to properly slice cold cuts. It makes all the difference in the world. Tremendous variety of very popular items. Fair pricing too. Will definitely be going back.

I Absolutely love Salpinos. I really can’t say enough about the food and staff there. They have the freshest meat, produce and cold cuts. Unbelievable prepared foods and sandwich’s and a great bakery. You can’t go wrong with anything you get there. It’s a family run business and Larry, Lorie, Jen and the whole staff make you feel like family.

Salpino’s is the absolute best! Everyone is always so friendly and very helpful. I’ve been going to Salpino’s ever since moving to the neighborhood. I order from them for many events and holidays and they never disappoint!

Absolutely fantastic food! I had a delivery in Brentwood and didn’t think exploring the area in a semi truck was a great idea, so I ordered through doordash. I ordered the chicken cutlet hero, Greek salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, and bruschetta (not eaten all at once). I loved every bite of everything!!! I could go on and on, but who has the time to read a novel on google. Definitely the best macaroni and potato salad I have eaten. The Greek salad is phenomenal (first time I’ve had grape leaves and really liked them). The chicken cutlet…BEST EVER! I can hardly wait to get another load out to the island so I can eat here again!!

Delicious food! Fresh mozzarella is out of this world. Have had it when it was still warm so good! Also their cannoli cookies are amazing!

I had my husband's birthday catered through Salpinos over the weekend. Everything was on time and packaged well . My guests all raved about how delicious the empanadas were. I will definitely order through Salpinos for future events.

Stellar in every way! The meat so amazing, pastry and bread to die for and the deli items all delish. The best macaroni salad hands down!! Best of all is the staff! Friendly, helpful & knowlegible. My whole family loves to go there!

My favorite place to shop! Excellent quality of meats and produce. Bakery items and breads are always fresh and delicious. Whenever I don't feel like cooking, I can always stop in and get something yummy from here!

Bad experience. Young cashier with blonde hair was too busy talking with other co worker that she charged me an extra $10 on my order. I corrected her because I knew it didn’t add up right and she was not friendly whatsoever telling me that it’s correct. I did the math when I walked out as I did not receive a receipt and she charged me more than I needed to pay for snacks.

Salpino is THE BEST Italian market on the island hands down. Love the vodka sauce, the brick oven bread, the macaroni salad (no seriously try try it), the stuffed olives...but really they do everything really well. Plus a large section of imported Italian snacks and other goods.

What can I say. This store is the best. The quality of cold cuts are the best. YEAHHHH BOARS HEAD!!!!!!. I recommend everything. Lol. I'm going for 2 sandwiches tomorrow. My dad is here from the bronx and he loves Sapinos. My mom loved the the holiday seafood salad but unfortunately she passed away so I buy it it remembrance of her. Thank you Sals for not just great food but great memories. 😇😊❤

We recently ordered a large catering order for a party. Everything was delicious. A majority, if not all, of our guests complimented the food. We had quite a few different dishes too. We over ordered but our guests were excited to take leftovers home with them! The food was delivered to us on time and professionally. Everyone we spoke to from salpinos was very nice and extremely helpful with questions. We will definitely be ordering from them more often!

This store has gotten VERY expensive and the quality has gone down. I am honestly very disappointed and will not be shopping there anymore.

Excellent fresh food options. Nice bakery section. Good selection of various cold cuts. Only negative (and it's a big one) is the wait line wraps around store. If you're smart you'll place you're order via text ahead of time. Checkout ladies are very nice. Will be going back again. UPDATE: It's been a few years now and my weekly visits here have all been made after placing my order via phone or text. Due to this the overall experience has been amazing. Every special occasion that my family has hosted at our house has served prepared food from Salpino. Excellent staff and great food. A local gem.

Great market, helpful staff, interesting & thoughtful products, sandwiches took a very long time (4 sandos = 35 minutes from when we ordered) and mods we asked for didn’t come thru (add arugula, roasted peppers, etc.).

I absolutely love this place for salads, heros, cold cuts,and desserts. It is small inside but employees are friendly and it is very clean. It is a lil pricey but well worth it

Great food, but OMG, the wait to pickup an order for Easter dinner was almost an hour! They told me to arrive at 3pm. I arrived at 2:50 and waited until 3:40. I'm not sure if this was better than cooking just purely because of the torture of waiting around this crowded shopping center for an hour.

Last 4 experiences with the bakery, now I'm done! 2 cakes and girls told me the filling, wrong! Almost broke my tooth on macadamia nut cookies, soo stale! Their sprinkled jelly cookies used to be the best. Bought a pound 2 days ago and everyone agreed they couldn't find the jelly. Dry and in the garbage! Done with the bakery for good

Love this place. Their ready to go meals are always fresh and priced right. Their sauce is delicious. And I make my own too. Love the meatball, rigatoni and rib combo. Nicely done. Nice, helpful staff also. Never bought anything that wasn’t just plain good.
