Cleanest diner I’ve ever been in! Staff friendly, service prompt. They allow you your space to eat without constantly checking on you! When you are done, wander to the front to pay your bill! Food was hearty- eggs and homefries and sausage- can’t go wrong here. Coffee could’ve been better, just a standard brew.

Whole vegan menu at this Diner! The vegan Mozzarella sticks are really good! The Mac and cheese is ok. The impossible tots and Mexican burger was amazing too!

Came here for lunch around 1pm. The diner was a good place to catch up and chat with a friend. However, the wait time was long, and at times, I kept thinking if our table was forgotten. I ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap with curly fries. I didn't know the wrap was whole wheat. It wasn't specified on the menu, I would have wanted the regular wrap, but I dealt with it. When my order came out the first time, it had regular fries. Took a few minutes longer to get our waiter's attention again to correct him. I ordered curly fries. Once it came back, the food was good. All payments are accepted, and Lindenhurst Diner has its own parking lot. We were onky two people, and hopefully, next time, the wait period won't be as long.

Great food! Our go-to diner! I order take out from here at least 2x a month! Love how they send out texts with discount codes every month! Today we tried the banana foster pancakes and they didn’t disappoint! Love the atmosphere and most importantly supporting local businesses! 10/10

I had such high hopes for this diner because I was so hungry one late night after visiting my friend nearby. I went in around 10 and I didn’t enjoy my meal at all. I ordered crispy street tacos as an appetizer and the only thing that tasted good was the salsa on top. I ordered stuffed- shrimp with a side of cream spinach and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were ok and the cream of spinach was gross. It was full of cream and maybe three pieces of spinach mixed in. I couldn’t eat it. I ordered chicken noodle soup and it was so gross and bland. It tasted like someone hit some water and threw in some veggies inside. There was barely any chicken in the soup. Nothing could save it. The only thing that tasted good was my husband’s steak which was well seasoned and delicious. They served us nasty old disgusting watery rice. We told them server and she apologized but she couldn’t do anything. Please, I know it’s late at night but it’s important to serve safe food at this hour. Please consider adding seasoning to your food as well. I gave three stars because the server was nice and filled our drinks without us asking and was kind.

I love this place. It’s a short walk away from the Super 8, and they have amazing food! The menu is huge and the servings are massive. I have yet to have anything that I haven’t loved.

Bright and cheerful, friendly efficient service, delicious breakfast. My husband and I have been doing a silly diners tour of Long Island this summer, picking a different diner every Tuesday morning. The Lindenhurst Diner is so good we may just make it our only diner for the rest of the summer. I chose the breakfast quesadilla - eggs, cheese, potatoes and sausage in a crisped-up tortilla. Hands down the best version I’ve had. My husband went basic with eggs over easy, French fries, crispy bacon and rye toast. There’s nothing left on his plate. The marble rye toast was fresh and cut thick - really good (and who even notices the toast most of the time?) We will surely be back for lunch and dinner before long.

What a treasure this diner is! The art deco work is stunning. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We were vacationing in Long Island and stopped for breakfast. The menu had great variety. My granddaughter got scrambled eggs, home fries and Texas toast off the kid's menu and the portion could've satisfied a grown men. Her meal included a giant m&m cookie to boot. My best friend got the Capone Omelette. It was amazing she said. Italian sausage, fresh basil, mozzarella, onions, and she opted for green pepper instead of roasted red peppers. Home fries and Texas toast. I ordered The Bre. Over medium egg, American cheese, with homemade Sriracha sauce on a brioche bun, with home fries. I got a "gianormous" delicious cup of coffee. My sandwich was fantastic!!! I'd order again if I ever come back.

We ordered breakfast for dinner. The food was good and filling. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a variety of dishes to choose from for every palate. Family friendly. There are steps to the front door. I am not sure if it's wheelchair accessible you may have to call ahead to verify. There is a restroom on the premises.

Ended up here when my fave vegan restaurant down the road was inexplicably closed...very glad I did! Vegan French Dip was out of this world good! Complete with vegan au jus and mozzarella cheeze. Billed as plant-based, there are many options for vegans here...all reasonably priced too. Topped it off with a vegan hot chocolate ☕ Highly recommend

My favorite diner! I’m grateful they have accommodations for gluten free people - they have both bread & wraps so I never feel limited in what I can order. Favs - Sriracha chicken wrap, California wrap, Greek salad, soulvaki chicken

The server was good. I ordered the shrimp po boy and the shrimp were burnt, overcooked and tough so much so that they damaged the roof of my mouth. Rest rooms were clean. Can't say I'll go back here.

An entirely separate vegan menu in an oldschool stainless steel diner?! The dream. Their vegan menu is massive for how small it is and our waiter was super nice and familiarized with it, able to answer all of our annoying vegan and gluten-free questions. The food itself was exactly the diner food any vegan knows, loves, and misses. Somehow, that massive mountain of food they call Impossible Tots is considered a “starter”, so beware of how big their portions are before getting too wild!

Nothing special. Please get better waiters. I have been here 3 times now. The first time is when they first opened the girl was great but she's no longer there. Then I have had really awful service and personality since. They made me feel like I was bothering them.

Extensive Full plant based vegan diner menu available w entrees, appetizers, desserts, all day breakfasts. My tofu omelette with toast tasted exactly like scrambled eggs with butter on the toast but apparently it was all vegan. I don't know how they got those flavors so well. These guys really care about their taste. They specially prepare everything in house to get the taste right including the vegan butter and the tofu scramble that tasted just like eggs.

First time ever that I went out to eat on Mother's Day & I have to say it was so nice. My son, daughter & son-in-law talked me into going out today. I wanted to thank you all for a delicious lunch. I have actually been craving a Gyro for weeks now & my daughter & I loved them. You have the best french fries also. Our server was awesome as were the bus boys & the entire staff. The atmosphere was perfect, no whackos. We had a really fun family meal which are far & few between. So, Thank You so much! (I also don't go out to eat on Sundays because of the "after church crowd).

The Lindenhurst Diner is truly a gem in the Long Island breakfast scene. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the service is consistently fast and efficient. But the real star of the show is the food - every dish is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Whether you're in the mood for classic eggs and bacon or something a little more adventurous, like their famous stuffed French toast, you won't be disappointed. And let's not forget about the coffee - it's actually delicious and always piping hot. Plus, the pricing is beyond fair for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Overall, I highly recommend The Lindenhurst Diner for anyone looking for a delicious and affordable breakfast spot.

I love that they have solid vegan options. They're a little pricey so I don't go super often but it's really good! I'll be going again soon.

Went here for lunch, they were pleasant and didn't rush us. Had a great gluten free menu, the turkey wrap with turkey bacon was great. Fries are excellent and they said they aren't battered with breading, which is a plus. My husband had a really good cheeseburger. Will definitely come back, found our new spot.
