This was a suggestion - Restaurant, and I never heard of it before. BUT I am glad my wife and I visited this eatery. It was 2pm and they just opened. The food was Great and the drinks were top shelf. The Bar was busy and the tables soon filled up with customers. My wife and I felt comfortable, but I think this is an excellent place for those 20's thru 60's . My wife and I are both 66 and we enjoyed everything. This is a 5 Star Location. Happy Eating And Be Safe This reminds me of Tao's at the rear of the 4 Season Hotel on E 58 Street between Park & Madison Av in NY City !!!! Great!!!

Amazing small plate place. Clean and hip. Staff very nice. Food was delectable. Alternatives on dishes were quite cool. Cauliflower General Tso or goat cheese pretzel dip was to die for. Drinks were good. Waitress made great suggestions for us to try and taste. It isn't cheap but it's worth it. I will be back with friends.

Excellent service! The food was Amazing and so were the drinks! Great Tapas place to share food with friends and then hit the bar area after. The decor is also gorgeous. Worth the prices 💗.

Fantastic place to go for a few drinks. Cool industrial vibe; very friendly and appreciative staff. Food are well sized tapas that are meant to be shared...makes for a good time out with good company. Check it out, you can't go wrong!

The service was great . The drinks are ok. Never in my life have I received such a small piece of meat for the price I paid . I ordered the steak with eggs . I was looking forward to a nice meal. Instead I got a snack bite and ate the steak in one bite .I have been to fancier restaurants and got much larger portions . I was in disbelief . You will leave here hungry . Eat before you come and only grab drinks if you have to go there

Great place. Love a Tapas menu. Cocktails were delicious. Nice ambiance. Not a place I'd bring my kids. Very good service, ask for Joe!

The food and atmosphere here are very Instagram worthy! I was happy everything tasted good too. Between the hummus and the cauliflower platter, there was not a crumb left in sight! Highly recommended for a date night and if you're lucky, they may have a movie playing on the projection screen. When we went the Grinch was playing!

We went to The Brixton on Saturday night, 2/3/18 for the first time and we loved it. So much so that we've already gone back for cocktails after dining at another restaurant nearby. Not knowing much about The Brixton other than from what I had seen on their Instagram account, I was looking forward to trying some of their specialty cocktails and the food. We started out at the bar, where Lahna ordered a vodka cocktail and I ordered a bourbon cocktail. I can't remember the names of the drinks, but they were great because we ordered a few each and we were feeling no pain by the time our table was ready. The bartenders are experienced mixologists and take their craft and their drinks very seriously. I can go for one of those bourbon/honey concoctions right now! Once we got to our table, we were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. We've had such horrible wait service at so many of our dining adventures, it was refreshing to get a personable waiter who knew what he was doing and knew the menu completely. The only problem was, I think his shift ended in the middle of our dinner because he started out as our waiter, than towards the end of our meal he was gone and we had a different server. Anyway, we started our with our usual. If there's oysters on the menu, we're ordering them. So we ordered a dozen blue point oysters and they were perfect! Cold, cleanly shucked, all the liquor still in the cup, and served with mignonette for me and cocktail sauce for Lahna. We also shared the poke bowl as an appetizer. It may have been our favorite course of the meal! It was amazing! The tuna was so fresh and the loose Asian flavored grits along with the avocado and pineapple, wow! We could've each eaten a huge bowl of just that. For my main course I ordered the chicken and biscuits. It came out and it looked great. I've had no luck ordering any type of fried chicken dish lately, so I was really looking forward to this dish. Unfortunately, I cut open the chicken and it was still raw in the middle. Same issue I've had with fried chicken from other places recently. So I notified our awesome server who was totally apologetic and he took it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later he returned and continued to apologize and brought us a beautiful plate of shrimp and grits. It was funny because I was debating on the chicken and biscuits or the shrimp and grits as my entree. I have to say, it was probably the best shrimp and grits I've ever had, and I've had it a lot because it is one of my favorite go-to dishes when I dine out. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the grits were delicious and the addition of the pork made it unbelievable. A new plate of chicken and biscuits made its way back to the table, this time thoroughly cooked and it was really good, but not as good as the shrimp and grits. I'm glad that I got to try both though. All in all, The Brixton is a great place! The bartenders are great and make awesome drinks. The chef is extremely talented and makes incredible food. The place is beautiful, the decor is trendy and the vibe is welcoming. I wish we lived closer to The Brixton because we'd be there a lot more often! Love this place and look forward to our next wonderful experience there!

Very nice, cozy, relaxing spot to dine at or to socialize by the bar. Let's first start off by saying the Brixton is a must try if you haven't been there before.. the staff are very friendly and they smile at you , which Definitely goes a long way. They knew when to ask if you needed anything. The atmosphere was very cozy especially in the dinning area. Nice layout and the dim lights do make it a good romantic spot. Good music in the background and great area it's in. The food... Yum!! I got the pear kale salad and it was one of the best salads I have ever eaten and trust me, I've eaten so many salads in my life time so far.. The aroma and taste just knocks you off your chair. Now you have me wanting more.. All I can say is go now or you'll be missing out.

I’d give it them a 10 out of 10. We stopped in for some apps and cocktails. We had the short rib toast ( amazing) and general two’s cauliflower 🙌. And cocktails kept you wanting more. Especially the fly like a butterfly 🦋 sting like bee 🐝 The staff was attentive and sociable. Will definitely be going back.

Solid place for brunch, dinner or drinks. Been here a couple of times and the food has been great, drinks are very balanced. All the appetizers I’ve tried have been delicious. I’ve enjoyed The Brixton both during a date and group dining. Servers are attentive and overall atmosphere is wonderful. Will definitely be going back! *They have a special TacoBell inspired menu on Tuesdays with select items.

Beautiful Place. A bit too small for my liking as I had to eat brunch at one of the high tops. Had the Burger Duo. Very tasty. Sadly it doesn't come with any sides. Not an issue for me as I don't eat carbs at the moment. Fody and drinks came out pretty quick. The price was average for the area. Should be about 10% less expensive give or take. Paid $90 including Tip, for 2 orders of Burgers and 2 drinks. Will come back again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my opportunity to try a variety of Brixton dishes in the heart of Babylon village. Appetizers: - Light but flavorful cauliflower twist to the classic general Tso's chicken. - Hearty short rib mac & cheese garnished with crunchy shallots. - Creamy deviled eggs showered in bacon bits. Main: - Wonderfully textured strip steak served cast iron over a uniquely enjoyable sauce, subtle enough to allow the meats natural flavors to shine while still adding it's own twist Grand finale: - Warm sugared fried Oreos reminiscent of a childhood trip to the fair Special thanks to Lou and Jack. Very much looking forward to trying the upcoming revamped 2024 menu!

My wife and I looked forward to going to this Babylon fixture as the menu seemed promising with some variety that the usual lunch/brunch menus in Suffolk often lack. What a disappointment! We sat for at least 10 minutes in the bar area on a recent Sunday and none of the servers, bartenders, or staff batted an eyelash much less made any kind of eye contact as we waited to order. The restaurant was busy but we have been in busy restaurants a million times and have had good experiences due to staff paying attention and having some awareness of their clientele and how to handle a crowd. We finally gave up and left and the hostess (who was on her phone) barely acknowledged us as we left. Again, very disappointed but glad to have not stuck it out and been disappointed further.....

My favorite place to hang in Babylon village! The best drinks in town, great food and music. And just cool staff. Love it. Can’t recommend it enough. You can’t hang in Babylon without coming here.

Just went there last Friday night and everything about it was so cool and fresh I couldn't help but feel cooler myself lol We ordered a few apps and they were amazing. Can't remember the name of anything but had a fried cauliflower bits that was impressive and some creamy fries with a topping that was delicious. Drinks were great and there was live music. Cute guy with a guitar singing every pop song I could remember. Doesn't get any better than this! Coming back soon

Very expensive place to eat. The food is average at best but you're paying so much for so little food that doesn't taste good at all. I paid 14 dollars for a scoop of mac and cheese that tasted like it came out of a box at Walmart. The bar though was very good but yet again, the prices ruined it for me.

We enjoyed there food and knowledge of the ingredients. Due to a penut, almond and sesame seed alergy my girlfriend could not eat the steamed buns or korean BBQ wings. We were very appreciative that the chefs knew their ingredients. Looking forward to coming back on a wednesday to try their Ramen. Jackelin was energetic in handling multiple tables. Thank you Brixton staff

Place was super loud! You couldn’t hear the server. Ordered our burger medium rare, came out well done. Short rib was gamey and under seasoned. Toast was soggy. Ordered chicken and biscuit, came out burnt and crispy on the outside and raw on the inside. Received a 25 dollar gift card to come back, which is why they earned their one star. Will not be returning.

No doubt they serve all small plates, but they are thoroughly enjoyable and delicious. Quirky cocktails and trendy atmosphere make for a good night out.

Just love love The Brixton! Their cocktails are great, and my fav is the Rye or Die. The plates could have a little more food or be cheaper, but hey, it is what it is and the food is good I just wish there were more of it for sharing. The atmosphere is comfortable and you can sit in the bar area, in the dining area or outside. I'd be interested to see if they keep the outside seating and just add some heaters like Mary Carroll's right next door.

They have some of the most delicious food on long Island. If you like small plates and really good food then this is the place. Nice atmospheric and friendly staff make you feel welcome.

Went during post dinner hours. Was given the last of the bottle of sparkling wine. So I wasn't given the full serving, there was lots of sediment in the wine tasted flat. Needless to say I was still charged full price. I've been to this place before and had a pretty good experience but this was disappointing.

Came here for brunch and did not leave disappointed. The French toast sticks were phenomenal, along with the peach Bellini. The sweet potato hash is a MUST TRY. Trust me on that.
