Just had my daughter's baby shower here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great venue with a fireplace and your own bar. Highly recommend.

The food and drinks were perfect and guess what?!? They have brunch on Sundays too! (yes, and unlimited mimosas) The drinks have so much flavor and really have a nice kick to them. He got: Smokehouse Burger (that smoked bacon is everything, goodness!) Onion Rings (cooked perfectly, really enjoyed). Chocolate Sky Martini She got: Brunch Burger (that egg drip, perfection) Home fries Poison Apple Cocktail (apple pie in a glass, wow!) Staff is phenomenal, everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and the chefs know what they are doing! The ambiance is cute with the brick and carousel animals, we just agree that a post office vibe would match the name. Parking you do need to be careful, in the back there is a small lot we usually use (never had a problem finding a spot), never even attempt the main road spots.

If you are looking for somewhere to hold a private party where staff will go above and beyond for every single request this is it. I live across the country and Melissa answered my endless questions with kindness and patience. Chris called in an AV specialist to be sure the video montage I had would play correctly. The night of the Rehearsal Dinner, Chris & Jenna were our bartenders/servers and could not have been more professional, fun and just great people. The food, service atmosphere - 10 stars!

Nice local spot, nicely decorated, live music on Fridays, great place to hang out at the bar for happy hour too! The atmosphere is upbeat especially with the live music... Seating near the bar is best, let's you enjoy the music and grab a bite. Service is excellent, and food is good. Calamari was tasty but tough, our server (Nicole) didn't hesitate to take back which was the right thing to do, but not always the case at other restaurants. Makes us want to return for more! Ahh, try the coconut martini, and/or blueberry lager both excellent, the Asian Salad, and French Dip were good too!

Booked a private party for my daughter's 1st birthday. The space had a good layout. The food and service were great for the most part. Couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. It was intimate and the champagne punch was refreshing. Shawn was our waiter from beginning to end, he was there taking care of us along with Jenna. Only wish we had more time to setup beforehand.

My sister and I took my Dad here for his birthday. Our waitress was so welcoming. We got the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, Buddha Bowl with Salmon, and Roast Beef French Dip. Everything was AMAZING!! I didn't get a picture of the French Dip (my Dad was already teasing me for taking a picture of the food lol). I will definitely be bringing my husband back here for a date night

Pleasantly surprised at the dining area off the side of the main dining area. Very clean and very quiet. I was able to watch the football game today while eating The waitress took our order very promptly we received drinks quickly and got our appetizer within 5 minutes. The spinach artichoke dip was superb. Ordered the fish and chips. The chips were actually fries which tasted good. 3 large pieces of fried fish were given copious amount of Cole slaw and tartar sauce. The fish was cooked well, however, lacked seasonings. The waitress, Gina was very accommodating throughout the meal, excellent service

We came for after block party diner. We got Bavarian pretzels with cheese...on point! Southwest chicken spring rollz...again great tasty! Comes with chipotle aoli....but then.... dum dum dum (dramatic foreboding music) the wings came and what annordeal this was. We Wanted to try 2 different sauces so we got them naked and the sauces were atrocious. They tried bringing us every sauce on that menu and they all were noy not up to par. This my friend is not the place to ge t wings. And I like spice with these were too spicy and not tasty. But the staff was amazing the atmosphere is beautiful I can't stress how much I enjoyed all the people who work here. I will come back just for that and try everything else on their menu. I reccomend this place!

We celebrated my daughters first birthday in the private room of the post office and I cannot say enough amazing things about our party at the post office cafe! The staff we had helping us (Chris and Kate) were so helpful and kept checking in throughout the party to make sure everything was going how we wanted. My daughter had the best time and the food was delicious! I worked with Melissa to plan the event and she made the process seamless and easy. If you’re thinking of booking a party at the Post Office Cafe, it’s definitely a good choice!

Last night I threw a surprise 30th birthday party in their private room and it was amazing! The room is beautiful (has a fireplace!) and very spacious. The staff were totally on top of their game and the food was delicious. If you are thinking of having a private party like mine, I can't recommend the Post Office enough!!

Just had my daughter's Sweet 16 party in their private room, it was a fabulous event! Melissa was so attentive planning our party and answering all the questions I had, and the day of the event, Ashley and another employee (I wish I remembered her name) were fabulous and attentive. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had two guest with severe food allergies and they were well taken care of. The bar area was perfect for the adults to mingle and chat. We had a video montage playing over several TVs all evening. Overall, an affordable, great place to have any private event ....highly recommend.

Great dinner! We go to the library cafe in Farmingdale often, and this is very similar (same owner group). The spinach dip was great (I always love when it comes with both warm pita and chips). The fish and chips was good too. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My personal opinion was that it was better than library, but my husband says he still likes library better but you can't go wrong with either. I also found it to be particularly clean and bright thanks to the sky lights.

A very good dining experience with a nice staff and delicious food. Our waitress Devin was wonderful and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. I enjoyed my cocktail, Cole slaw and chicken sandwich on lettuce. My dad liked his Smoked BBQ Burger, Sweet Potato Fries and Gin & Tonic. My wife enjoyed her Shrimp Tacos a Malibu Bay Breeze. Overall, worth a visit.

My fiancé & I had our rehearsal dinner at the Post Office on 10/13/23 and it was wonderful! Everything was excellent—everyone raved about the food, the drinks were flowing, and the staff were all so nice and attentive. The private room is beautiful. We had it set up as one big "king's" table, and it was so nice to have the option of everyone sitting "together." The ease of having the front entrance for setup was great, too, and of course we loved that we had our own bar. Melissa, our catering point person, was also so attentive and easy to reach with questions leading up to the event. I'd recommend this place to anyone having an event!

Nice place but A bit too crowded for the current times. The food was good but nothing special. More of a bar type place for casual dining. Good for a last minute decision. Service tries hard to please.

We recently hosted a brunch for a baby sprinkle at the Post Office Cafe and had an amazing experience! The space is bright and inviting, the food is delicious, and the staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a private event!

My family and I came to the Post Office cafe for mother's day 2021 and Easter 2022. The service was fabulous. We had a table of 12 and Our waitress ( I think her name is Melissa) was very attentive and didnt try to rush us out. We will definitely be returning.

The waitress was amazing when we got a table. I'm sorry I forgot her name. But, before we ate, our first bartender...not so much. When we moved down the bar, our 2nd bartender was way better.

My mom and friends planned my Bridal Shower here this past weekend and the Post Office Cafe (and my friends and mother!) absolutely NAILED IT! The vibes were immaculate, the server and bartender were kind and professional and the food was delicious! They were so accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone wondering if they should have a party here :). ! Thank you.

This was our 1st time dining here. The classic chopped salad was very good. It was full of fresh ingredients and it was a nice size. The Ruben sandwich was a disappointment. The bread was hard and crumbly. Barely any sauerkraut or cheese on it.. If you're a ruben lover you will not be happy. The waitress seemed a little stressed especially when I told her about the sandwich.

I had a great time photographing an engagement party at post office cafe. It was my first time there and had a great time. The atmosphere was great and so was the food. The staff was very attentive and great to work with!

I booked a brunch for my son and daughter’s graduation, and we love it! Melissa helped with everything in the nicest way. The event went perfect, the food was delicious and the service above and beyond! All the guests came to me to compliment everything about the restaurant! Thank you @post office Cafe for making my kid’s grad party memorable and we’re definitely coming back soon!

My parents are regulars at the Post Office cafe. We’ve celebrated my Sprinkle here in 2019. This past weekend, we celebrated my son’s communion, birthday and my daughters 2nd birthday all together! The only room available was the fireplace section in the back of the bar, but it was absolutely perfect! My guests were able to watch the Knicks game, which was amazing! Melissa was our party coordinator, everything went very smooth! Shannon and Kate were fantastic and on top of everything, including drinks for everyone! The food was amazing, especially the steak, mashed potatoes and fried onions!! FANTASTIC!

Appetizer and Smokehouse Burger were great, the salad was not. I wouldn't order that again, but would return to try other things on the menu that sounded good. Service was OK, the restaurant can be very loud bc of the open ceiling.

Swift friendly service and wide selection. It really was a post office, huge inside, beautiful atmosphere. Ordered a Ruben and wife ordered a buddha bowl. We both enjoyed and would come back. Food was quality and casual. They have a huge bar and tvs are everywhere too 👍 Pleased to see the $3 sides, I was only able to experience one, but there is a quality selection of sides as well as menu items. There is also a section for catering with what looked like a bar area for celebrations etc 👍

As someone who has hosted many events, Post Office Cafe at the top of my list of places I would host an event again with! Melissa at the Post Office Cafe made our experience seamless! I planned the event in a week and Melissa made the whole process so easy! The night of, we had Kate and Jenna handling our party- they were so friendly and helpful! They kept the flow of the party going well! Food was a hit and drinks were flowing! Our guests haven’t stopped complimenting how great the party and venue was! Thank you to the Post Office Cafe for all they did to make our night so memorable and amazing!

I had my baby shower at the Post Office Cafe this past weekend & everything was amazing! The room is beautiful, service was great, & food was delicious! I especially want to thank and shout out managers Chris & Melissa. Melissa was so helpful in booking & planning the room set-up for the day of. Chris was there the day of and was great, too! What was even better was how they treated us after the event. Long story short, some of our gifts were thrown away (no fault of theirs - 1000% our fault). I didn’t realize until the next day that I was missing gifts & when I called them freaking out, they were so thorough in helping us check & even came outside to the garbage to help us find the bag! They both truly went above and beyond giving us gloves and they even went as far as getting in the garbage to pull out some of our items for us. I wasn’t expecting this much help, especially for something that wasn’t their fault - they truly went above and beyond and were SO nice about it!
