😠 Never go to trivia night they didn’t tell us it was $25 per person when you 1. Don’t even play 2. order a water. Came with friends who were eating and they charged me $25 for a water. The waitress said it was $25 a player not person, just to scam us. I also asked for a manager 3 times and the staff... People often mention Great, great, staff, time, friendly, service, drinks, Nice, good, night,

Never go to trivia night they didn’t tell us it was $25 per person when you 1. Don’t even play 2. order a water. Came with friends who were eating and they charged me $25 for a water. The waitress said it was $25 a player not person, just to scam us. I also asked for a manager 3 times and the staff refused. I would give zero stars if I could. The biggest scam.

Disappointing Brunch. Local Bloody Mary came with only half the items listed on menu. (No pickles, peppers, stuffed olives). Home fries were cold and greasy. Service was sub-par. Place was empty and staff was all sitting at bar on phones yet we still had to ask for water and check. Local Egg Muffin was okay.…biscuits and gravy…okay. Looked so much better online!

We stopped in during a street fair for a cider and a beer. The Local is a small, very clean, nicely decorated place, with a varied, reasonably priced menu. Great beer and cider selections. Close to LIRR station. We'll definitely be back to try the food!

Great pub right at the Babylon train station. Nice crowd and friendly staff. AND, they can package your favorite tap beer or mixed drink to go (in a sealed can) to take on the train or home with you !

The food was great. The service was great, but they don't need a loud obnoxious girl singing on a Wednesday night for the after work crowd. She was way too loud for a room that size. It was a Wednesday, not a Friday or Saturday night. My group of 8 couldn't hear any of our own conversations.

Food is good, staff is attentive and friendly, but it is impossible to talk to your friends here because the loud music is blasting 40dB above acceptable.

Went out for Thursday night dinner and drinks. We sat at the corner of the bar and was taken care of by the bartender Nick. Although he was very busy taking care of other customers, he was very attentive to us and made us feel like family at the bar. The food came out extremely fresh and hot. Nick was able to answer any questions we had about the food and drinks, and you can easily tell he has many years of experience behind the bar. I would definitely recommend The Local to anybody who would like great food and drinks in the Babylon Village area.

I came here for drinks one night and the atmosphere is a fun time. They play current music and some classic songs. It does get packed due to the size and hard to order a drink but overall it's a nice spot.

been waiting a whole year for the apple harvest salad and apple cider sangria and it was truly worth the wait :) Had Kaylie as our waitress the other night - she is a pleasure! Do not lose that girl- or Sean (who has waited on us twice before). They are both assets to your company!! The only thing i would say could have been better was the pierogis, they were not as good as the last time we had them. Otherwise, the fig flat bread, fries, harvest salad were alllllll delicious. Thanks for always being on point :)

Love the food here but the waitstaff needs management. We went here once when it was dead and once when super busy. Both times had to ask to be helped after we were sat because they assumed a waitress came to us. Then ask for utensils, and drink refills and then check. BOTH times over 6 months apart. Seem to be busy at the computer area more than checking on their tables. Disappointing because the food is amazing.

Won't honor gift card!! Had a gift card from June 2019 with the receipt. No expiration date on card. Haven't been able to get there, you know pandemic and stuff. Finally had a chance to order take out. Card comes up invalid. Told card can't be used because "they updated their computers two years ago." The card wasn't even purchased two years ago! The best they would do is 25-30% off my order. No way, gift card was for $150 you already have. So disappointing.

Would have given 4 stars based on food. Short rib grilled cheese was excellent. But, the devil is in the details. The detail I took issue with was getting a Blue Point Hoptical Illusion draft in a tiny glass (should have been served a pint for the $8.) I understand that many bars/restaurants serve smaller glasses for high alcohol content beers. (Usually 9 or 10% ABV or higher, an example that comes to mind is delirium tremens, 9.5% I believe..) I have had Hoptical IPA all over Long Island and NEVER has it been served in anything but a pint glass. This just feels like a policy designed to grab a few extra dollars and I didn't appreciate it.

Solid drink, friendly staff but kitchen seems slow and disorganized. Plan on a leisurely visit.

Went for Bingo and had the absolute best time! The cocktails we got were great & the Korean street tacos were AMAZING. The vibes for bingo were so much fun and the staff was so nice and attentive. We will definitely be back.

I usually stop in if my transfer at Babylon has a layover. Nice selection of beers and food. The place has a nice open airy feel to it.

We visited from Alabama and had the best time here! Drinks were good, our bartender Marley (may have butchered that spelling) was so friendly, and the tex mex bowl was out of this world! I seriously can’t believe how delicious it was! We will definitely be back every time we visit.
