I am not the the type of person to ever go out of my way to leave a one star review at a restaurant but the service at this restaurant is laughable it's so poor. The hostess were friendly but our waitress Amber was unprofessional and rude. We ordered drinks to start and a member in my party didn't enjoy her drink because it was poorly made, so she asked our waitress to order something else. Amber told her that she still had to charge her for the drink because "she knew what she ordered". We requested to speak to a manager and all of a sudden Amber was the manager. I myself am a waitress and never would I act the way Amber acted tonight. She should be embarrassed and I hope that one drink was worth losing an entire table of customers.

I always come here is summer and I love the food and the service but today I ordered calamari and it came over cooked and not even full rings and when I asked to change it to fresh ones I was told that's how it comes.. I v been ordering them in the past and they were good. They didn't even try to provide fresh one. I ended up ordering something else. Very disappointed ☹️

Super Bowl Sunday. No record of my wings order despite having screenshots of the outgoing call to the correct hurricane wings and of the charge hitting my card. charged my card over $86 already and apparently they can’t refund the money without the owner Steve being present and he wasn’t there and they “probably couldn’t get a hold of him at the other location. Is this place for real?! Will be opening a dispute with Amex and won’t be back to this location. The wings were already mediocre at best (very dry and never came out saucy despite requesting them that way) but this experience was the final straw.

We ordered 2 burgers and they were totally unseasoned. The only thing that had flavor was the piece of bacon on top. Nachos were decent. The drinks were strong. Food isn't worth going back for. We won't be coming back, but thank you Amber for being so friendly!

Everytime it's awesome! The atmosphere, character and staff are all wonderful. A great spot to eat on the water. Food is always good and affordable. You can eat outside by the water, at the bar inside or get a booth and watch a nearby TV. It's my go to spot and lately the Hangover burger been my go to meal. As far as mixed cocktails I only order the coco carribean. It's so good. The whole vibe of the place keeps me coming back.

Server extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Best bartender tonight! My one drink was kick a-- Food portions huge for the price. Nice atmosphere

Great food. Will go back again. A little pricey but worth it. Gave 4 stars cause the service was slow but there was a party going on so its understandable plus would've gave 3 but the waitress was very nice and again food was amazing

I ordered take out boneless wings after a terrible experience at Wing Stop. Hurricane’s boneless wings are double the size of Wingstop. 16$ for 10 Bonless wings The sauces could and should have had more flavor and the celery serviced with it was super dried out and browning. Decent place and atmosphere. Wings Over Farmingdale and Valley stream are still my favorite wing place around.

Having been here a few times during the day and happy hour, I can say the beer was cold and most of the food was great. The wings were spot on but being a seafood lover tried the mahi mahi sandwich, which was disappointing. I have tried other items and liked it but will be staying away from the seafood.

Wings nice very lage but when you order 20 wings with honey BBQ sauce where's the sauce your supposed to lick your fingers use napkins but no very dry like it was out of stock on sauce... disappointed Hopefully some one reads this and corrects this in future reviews I would of asked waitress to toss them but she looked like she just rolled out of bed and didn't want to be here

Food was great, my drink could've been better overall great place.

We had a great time last nite...Mach 5 Band Trio was there...7-10 pm...food delicious n fresh...kids were there having fun too behind our table w the music...coconut jumbo shrimp tacos delicious n cheddar beer dip sooo good w huge pretzel...n mozzarella sticks too...we liked the sea salt Caramel Cheesecake also...staff fast very nice Gina..Thank you....we'll be back for sure! Fun place n atmosphere here...

Great food - fun atmosphere with lots of large screen TVs to watch the games.

It's a good casual spot for a fast sit down dinner. Food is good, remember it's not a high end spot so don't expect fabulous. Also good for sports at the bar. Beer is affordable, cocktails are average in taste. Stick to beer.

Great wings and atmosphere. Love going here for the live music on fridays and football on Sundays. Everyone working is very nice. The service gets a little rough when crowded but have some patience and you’ll be all good. Definitely recommend.

Slow. Empty restaurant took a long time to be seated. A long time to get drinks. And long time to take order and long time to get food. And a long time to get the wrong bill. I give them we had a large party but man… I wouldn’t even bother writing a review if not for this… Saturdays at this establishment is kids eat free with a meal. Very clearly this was the case as we asked about it and was told order a meal and kids eat free. Bill comes every kids meal is charged. Then after they “Corrected it” was told my wife’s Tacos and chips did not constitute as a meal because there was no sides(?) ordered. Idk what a side is but chips sure sounds like one. I unfortunately went to the car (with screaming kids from the wait) or I would have argued that. It’s not a bad place but slow and doesn’t want to stick to their word.

Food was somewhere between ok and good. Bar staff was NOT friendly (female) doubt I'll return. Place looked fun... wasn't. Many customers were over served liquor...while others were overlooked.

Sandwich bland, meat no tast, fried onions topping the meat fried burned, fried calamari burned, beer served in two different size glasses with the same price. Service ok. Good bye and good luck

Wait staff had outstanding server quality. Very friendly and always around for assistance. Nachos were ehhh. Quality of nachos made them quickly turn soggy on the bottom. The additives didn't have a great taste. Ordered the Beer breaded fish. It was huge and was good. Cooked golden. Fries ehhh. Almost shoestring style, but not quite. Heard the steak sandwich was good too. The missing star was no fault on the cooks and definitely not the service, just the quality of the fries and the nachos. Will definitely go back just won't order the nachos or anything with fries.

Completely disappointed! All of my 25 wings were bland, they were obviously stingy with tossing them in the sauce. Some of my larger wings were under cook ( which I'm now paying for). The Mac and cheese bites were OK, there was no visible bacon in the bites as described and the cheese sauce was mainly on the nachos. I've ordered the same wings a few weeks prior and they were amazing. Had great flavor, crispiness, cooked all the way through. Unfortunately I have to find a new wing place.

Always good food. Always good service. Wings are the best within 5 miles. Gabby always treats my family well. Never disappointed. Great location. I come back all the time.

We always have a great time and a great meal at Hurricanes. The ginger/garlic sauce for the wings is our favorite. The burgers, sandwiches and tacos are all amazing. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick but not rushed. They have a great selection of beers and fun cocktails. I only ever have one complaint and it's with their salsa. Otherwise I love everything!

Nice place, nice outside seating next to dock on the canal, nice atmosphere, nice service. BUT for the food, the most important part imo, and for a "wing" place im expecting great wings. Every place sells wings these days BUT Hurricane Wings should be serving the best since wings is in their name, BUT I don't think so. We asked for crispy BUT they were not crispy, too bad. We even told the owner(hence the 2-less stars) he gave us a long song and a dance about why they weren't crispy; the fryer oil temp, the cooks idea of crispy, the amount of time it is cooked, the age of the oil, etc. All valid reasons But what does that have to do with us not getting what we ordered? How about the owner saying sorry or let me do them over for you, or even let me get you something else. Any and all would have gone a long way, definitely would have brought us back. We only had the wings and a couple drinks BUT will say just give them a try, lot's of nice selections on their menu we didn't try, hopefully you will have better luck than us.
