My first time there, I had heard about Coopers from others. I had a steak very tender and tasty. Really loved the Vegetables .Everybody at the table enjoyed their meal. I was to stuffed for desert. I definitely would go back.

I was excited to try this place because it is very nice from the outside but it turned out not very good unfortunately. The service was friendly enough maybe even overly attentive, but we got mussles in a red sauce and they were smelly and not very tasty. Then I got the hot lobster roll and it was hard and dried up lobster which was definitely frozen, it was also smelly. Also it was really hot inside probably like 80 degrees and we were both sweating.Overall 32/100 F-

First time here. Came after work for dinner. Seated Immediately. However the server took almost fifteen minutes to come over to take drink orders. We sat so long we decided to order everything at once just in case. Also he never gave us his name. Drinks: pellegrino in the bottle for me and my husband had cranberry juice. Appetizers: baked clams casino and buffalo wings and New England Clam Chowder. Entree: Maine Lobster Roll for me and Shrimp Penne a la vodka for him Atmosphere: not busy at all, just slow as heck Music: playing Overhead, not loud with a nice playlist Clams had a funky smell. Couldn’t bring myself to eat them. Asked for New England Clam Chowder but as you can see he brought out Manhattan. The waitress asked if she could remove the dishes when she brought the food. She said oh you didn’t like the soup? You barely touched it. I said I didn’t order that but it’s ok. She said you want to take it home? I declined. She asked my husband if he wanted to take his frozen slimey salad home. My husband said no ma’am I’m good. Moments later she brought out our main dishes. The shrimp penne a la vodka was chewy according to my husband. He Said it was undercooked and tasted like glue. My food was served on a burnt roll. Sorry I’ve never had a burnt lobster roll. I tried to stomach the meat only. It wasn’t that bad. It was edible with a Scrooge face to match. The best thing about this dining experience was the pellegrino bottled water and the lovely woman who brought the food and asked us to come again when we were leaving. Other than that, two stars. One for the water and one for her! We will not be back unfortunately. I’ve been dining in the town lately and this was by far the worst experience. By the way, according to our receipt our waiter’s name was Bob. UPDATE: I spent the night vomiting. Arrived home about 15 minutes after we left the restaurant. Became ill within minutes of driving. I ran straight to the bathroom when I got in. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!

It is a great place to go. However there isn't to much choice for kids menu, but they do have one. There is a delicious variety of appetizers, lunch and dinners and the staff was very prompt, and friendly. I was here years ago when it wasa large deli w hot takeouts and a few tables. But my friend took me here and the place was beautifully renovated in wood and spacey dining areas! The food is always fresh and delicious 😋

Today's special - Pasta Triple Huge portion, very good (but needed salt & pepper). My bf's burger was cooked rate as requested (not always the case nowadays and juicy & tasty) Appetizers were good as well but both could have used more seasonings. Service was a little spotty (asked 4 times for water). Overall decent, huge portions. (My bf just read this - I'm his opinion the service was non-existent...)

This is a nice large corner restaurant and bar on a main Street in Babylon, close to Bayshore. There is plenty of parking in a rear lot. We were a group of 18 on a Saturday afternoon, and what was especially nice was that they accommodated us by setting up a long table in advance. In addition, they allowed us too have separate checks, some as couples. Not many places would have done that, especially given that we are not locals or have been there before. The service was very good, and the various lunch entrees were tasty and generous according to everyone. I had an excellent chicken salad sandwich which came with potatoes ( baked, mashed or French fries). I had a heaping portion of creamy mashed potatoes. The only suggestion I was asked to include in this post is that there should be gluten free choices, especially bread.

Food was ok (sweet potato fries were excellent!) Reasonable prices. I really liked that you can have a nice view of the street while you are eating.

My boyfriend and I usually sit at the bar but we were informed that they had a new menu so we decided to sit at a table. I’m so glad we did!! We started with the Brussels sprouts and baked clams which were both amazing. For our meals I had the steak sandwich on garlic bread and he had the Cajun shrimp Alfredo but we wound up just splitting it all in half cause it was all so good. Glad we changed it up a bit. Definitely going to grab a table from now on….I’m craving those Brussels sprouts again lol

Wonderful food. They specialize in seafood but have an extensive menu with other foods. Prices are reasonable for this post pandemic season.

I had dinner there last night, the fish and chips were great. Such a large portion for the money. My girlfriend had the burger, probably the best in Babylon!

If I could give no stars I would!!! I walked in with my husband and baby and the lady in the front was so rude! She started laughing and said you didn't read the signs and then pointed to them. ( I had on a top with no sleeves) there was a couple that was walking out at that same time to leave and she was wearing something like what I had on. How is it ok for her to wear that but not me and then for the lady to be rude was not needed!!!! I will never go back there and I will make sure to tell my friends and family as well.

We shared steamed clams as an appetizer. They definitely had a rotten smell, so they were sent back after a somewhat questionable discussion with the server who seemed to be resisting. Chowder soup should have been renamed watered cream of potato soup. Chicken Parm portion was significant, but tasteless, warm at best temperature, and lacked food quality. Plenty of pasta though... can't do much wrong with that. Nonetheless, there were no need for take home containers. A word to all... stick with the Argyle or the Post Office Café.

It was the best steamed clams I have had in awhile. The clams and broth with the perfect amount of garlic was great. I would definitely recommend coming here just for that.

Discriminatory practice ! Tank tops not allowed on men but accepted on women ? Owner has no integrity . I’m Explained I am a disabled vet walked several blocks for the oysters . Had I known (about this ) a shirt would’ve been easy . Seated by hostess but then another waitress came over said no . Nobody in the place on a Sunday afternoon tells a lot. Asked for the owner to explain the policy since woman at bar overheard and she was seated in a tank top . Owner said he could do whatever he wants since he owned the place . Glad we left looks like Food reviews are mediocre at best . Asked for an exception offered my ID . No dice . Owner said he was a vet but I doubt it since that’s not the way we take care of our brothers . AVOID this place .
