What does one do in NYC? You wander. You wander and you're rewarded! What a delight it was to come across this unexpected museum. We were fortunate enough to catch their exhibit on immigration and mass incarceration. Powerful stuff in a tiny location. I will be returning!

Always worth the walk into the alley. You never know what moving collection has been added. It’s just as fun when it’s closed or open. Take a peek and be surprised with what you find.

A amazing tiny gallery only open at the weekend. Go in for free or give a donation to receive a poster with an image of every item in the museum. This objects are really fascinating from a used tissue of Kim Jong Un’s to a collection of bread clips. A nice touch is also that up get greeted on arrival and introduced to the collection. Gift shop is also available!

By far, one of the best museums I've ever been. Please go and support ideas like this. One of a kind, creative, fun, perfectly executed. I would love to colaborate.

Exactly what a museum should be. Objects to experience that make you think. More interest per square foot than any other museum I've ever been to, and more total impact than museums thousands of times it's size. The recipes from the last meals of executives prisoners, wow what a tiny and powerful exhibit.

Such a cool experience! Such interesting items and the owner of the business is absolutely awesome! Definitely a must see if you're in the down town Manhattan, near Broadway.

Always love to visit this museum every season since they change out the contents. Why waste 3 hours at a museum when you can enjoy a great snippet.

Hidden little gem worth the visit if you like quirky stuff. You don't need much time, but bring a $5 to donate for your visit. Watch Richard Ayoade's Travel Man for a funny preview.

In the city with most museums in the world, the Mmuseumm stands out! Here lies the object as a piece of reflection. My mother was touched to the point of crying by a collection of personal belongings of people trying to pass the Mexico-US border.

This is such a unique endeavor! It's the smallest museum in NYC and is made up of two parts: Mmuseumm 1 which is the inside of an elevator shaft, and Mmuseumm 2 which is a 20 sq ft space visible through a window display. It's a well-curated space that you can devote as little or as much time as you want to, but it's definitely worth the trek out here.

a slightly kitsch place which currently has objects on display relating to climate chance and the anthropocene. a fun detour but perhaps not worth going out of your way to check out

Although admission is free. This museum is highly concentrated. It is well worth the donation to get the guide for each of the exhibits. My son found out about this place almost five years ago and had been wanting to check it out. We had the opportunity and it's been well with it. If I lived closer it would be nice to see more regularly.

the best museum I have ever seen. Jaw dropping exhibits stored in a space smaller than many closets. Worth seeking out and enjoying for a short visit. In this case, quantity is not needed to present quality, thought-provoking exhibits.

Really amazing mini museum. It’s incredible how much time you can spend in such a small space, and how much it challenges your worldview.

A very cool concept. The objects are so full of meaning and I was definitely moved. It’s only open until whenever it’s too cold outside so check it out and support them!

Amazing little museum, really interesting to look through everything and read descriptions. They change the exhibit often so you can go multiple times without getting bored. Can get a little crowded so there may be a slight wait. Definitely recommend!

Interesting place to stop and check out. Worth the side trip if you're in the area. Been here a couple times and have seen different exhibits. Unfortunately the last time I was there(at night) the plaque that is on the door with the number to call to hear what each row is about was gone.

I paid $10 for a timed visit. When I showed up, no one was there. The door was locked with no way to access the small museum. Edit: I've added 2 additional stars to my original 1-star review as the mmuseumm staff kindly reached out to me and refunded my money.

If you enjoy weird things, you should explore this hidden little gem. There isn't much time required, so bring $10 to donate throughout your visit.

I went expecting it to be interesting, but it was powerful and thought provoking beyond my expectations.

Loved it! Interested concept and a perfect stop along my day. I spent about 20 minutes here. Free to visit. They ask for a $5 donation if you want to take home the pamphlet.

One of the best places you can visit. It’s free, so there’s no reason to not go, especially if you’re nearby. Short, small, but well-crafted — I’m hoping that more exhibits follow Mmeusemm’s lead. I think you can make reservations. So, I’d recommend doing that.

Tiny but powerful and very well done. Plan about 45 min.- 1hour to see everything.
