Today was a beautiful day to visit and everyone seemed to agree, there were a good amount of people walking with family and simply taking in the sun and the atmosphere. Watch out for the geese; they assume you're coming to feed them and can be menacing. Swans are always beautiful. Didn't see fish but they're here somewhere.

Love this place. Very beautiful lake & so many beautiful swans. Good place if you are looking for photo shoot. Also it has small place for kids to play & ice cream truck. You can do fishing as well. Very peaceful 👍🏻

Beautiful park, perfect for a nice picnic. I originally planned to have a picnic on the grass however I also packed chairs as a back up. To my surprise there was a mini picnic table available for use. This is the middle of the park directly located in front of the playground. I did pass the entrance as it’s a very small entrance and not a huge parking lot. There Is additional parking in the back of the park (near the train station). I decided to go around and enter through the main entrance. This park is Perfect for families, dates or even solo trips to read a book by the lake. Extremely peaceful. There is also a beautiful waterfall with benches to watch the view towards the front of the park. There are plenty of trees to sit under with a blanket to keep cool during your visit. This is a popular park for wedding photos, prom and other majors events so prepare to see a lot of photographers, brides and grooms! Overall lovely park & I will absolutely return!

Love the park. Love the overcrowded craft fair! Just putting this out there.... Do you know who made these Grinch cutouts? I'd love to get one.

Has a little parking lot where maps had me enter, so drive slow when getting close so you don't miss the entrance. Great place to take a little walk or fish for bass especially on a nice day. Plenty of geese and swans so do be mindful of where you step. If you have a dog you can walk them there as many other's do just make sure to bring a bag.

My grandfather took me and our dogs here when I was a kid, in the '70s. We'd feed the ducks & geese back then. It holds immensely warm memories for me. I miss Poppy, I miss the dogs. Such a beautiful place. I'm thrilled to see how well it has been kept up.

Just a relaxing park, very beautiful and scenic area. Different types of bird species and also some fishing 🎣. Village within walking distance with many shops and restaurants. Definitely a great place to go chill they also offer bike rentals which are very affordable only $4 an hour and great for kids aswell.

Very beautiful park for walking and relaxing. Free parking lot but not a lot of space for parking, you would have to wait a little to get a parking spot.

I've taken my mom and aunt for a walk around this park twice and both times they enjoyed it. They are much older and due to the beautiful atmosphere of the park they didn't even realize we had walked about 4miles. They love the park now.

We loved Argyle Park as the centerpoint to our day trip to Babylon. The pond itself is beautiful with lots of cygnets and goslings. Theres also a lovely floral garden outdoor seating in the front. The hike up to Sounthends Pond was also lovely, wooded, and with benches at the Pond and lots of animals to try to spot (frogs, turtles, carp, smaller fish, and various birds). 10/10 would do again!

Beautiful local park. The cherry blossom trees this time of year are so pretty! There's a little pond and waking trail an we love that its dog friendly! The trail loops around the pond and its a little less than a mile.

Nice park. Went with a fair going on. But so much poor planning. They put vendors on a path backed with water making it very hard to wall. Vendors were spaced out so the main area had no paths. Walking with a stroller or wheelchair was near impossible. Mud holes in the low spots should of been filled before the fair. Last some guy in a t-shirt directing traffic with no training in front of the park just made traffic worse. He kept fighting the traffic light they could of had turned off and he would stop cars on a green but bc he had no flag, no bight colored vest no nothing, he would walk out in front of cars just waving his hands. I didn't even know he was part of the park until he sat in a parks car parked in the road to help male male traffic jam.

A lovely stroll with my girlfriend Jenifer this afternoon. Since we are avid dog lovers we saw a puppy corgi and an older Corgi by different owners. We also saw a husky a pitbull and a few chocolate labs. We haven't been to argyle in a while but I'm glad we went today beautiful weather sunshine. The perimeter around the lake is clean and it's nice to see young families with their children out and about. There was no trash anywhere to be seen very clean. Argyle lake is a real treasure in Babylon.

Absolutely beautiful. I lived in Babylon when I was a kid and I come back to walk around the lake and enjoy the Belmont State Park trails by the middle school when I can, or when I need to clear my head. The small waterfall in the white terraced stairway are always welcome site and there are often wedding parties taking pictures there. Babylon is a beautiful place to visit especially in the summer and an amazing town to live in.

Beautiful park with historical relevance in the village. Finding the parking lot can be tricky. If you are headed west on Montauk, the entrance will be right after the Argyle florist. Information about wildlife in the area is provided on the grounds. Benches and a little playground are available.

Custom -made park@ the junction of Wyandanch+ Deer Park+ N Babylon Well- fenced on the highway side. It is never crowded. The neighbourhood use it mostly to walk their dogs. It has children enclosure too. I only go their, sometimes to sit in solitude meditation. But it is too small for me, to sue it for long brisk walking.

This park is great especially in the summer! This park has a little playground by the front of it and if you continue you'll see a mini waterfall people go there to take pictures and there's houses and a bunch of other stuff it's a nice place for a work or to take your toddler on a stroll don't go here for picnics much better options. Also this place is good for Pokemon go!

Great park for a healthy walk! The lake is so pretty and peaceful. Clear your mind and get some exercise! Pet friendly too! Almost a mile all the way around! Enjoy! 💪👍😉

Good fishing caught sunfish , trout , bass and a giant white perch my only complaint is that the sea turkeys eat a lot of the fish in the lakes but they did stock it so that helps

Except for the geese this is one of my favorite places. There are a couple different options to choose for walking paths All of them surround links bugs aren't a major issue. Pets are welcome. There's a little construction right now but it shouldn't be long and it'll be back to normal but even during the construction you can walk.
