😐 Nice place to go cool off if you don't have a pool of your own. Not too crowded. I brought my grandchildren to the kiddie pool side. I used to go here about 10 years ago by myself because it was kind of a hidden gem with lounge chairs provided. The only con was that the price went up substantially! People often mention pool, park, courts, great, Great, basketball, tennis, baseball, kids,

The outdoor pool and the park itself are clean.. Little league baseball plays ball in the Spring and Summer. The park has lights too. The tennis courts are without weeds and looks well kept up. The hand ball courts which are adjacent to the tennis courts are usually fairly clean; sometimes you will find plastic bottles etc. Pls note the new playground in the front of the park. Overall, a nice park for a family outing. In the Summer months,. Live music is organized through town of Islip and there are food trucks situated nearby

Awesome park. Only thing they have bleachers for the baseball field and not for the basketball courts.. grown baseball players are urinating in the bushes where young kids walk. Nasty and unpleasant to see a grown man looking down taking a peepee, and the kids can see that from the back.

I wasn’t there for even 10 minutes and I didn’t go inside the pool or anything and they didn’t give my money back

A great Place to enjoy with your family, friends, and loved ones. Excellent pool area that is has a great size area for a BBQ and playing volleyball. Lots of chairs to sit alongside the pool. The water is never too cold or Warm. It's perfect!

Great location but the town needs to do a better job maintains the lighting … they worked on and off all summer so playing under the lights was not always an option

My recollection my mother brought me here in celebration of my graduation from high school. There are other favorable rememberances. It's terrific youngsters and their parents have a summer pool outlet with lifeguards on duty. The water reflects a purifering chemical blue in the sun revealing it's regular maintenance. The baseball field is an amazing sight during the early twilight hours. There are active black uniformed umpires, tall pro-baseball overhead spot lights, and cheering audiences of local youth games. Basketball courts are also featuring in this park along with spots for family picnicing. Visiting the park during the busiest hours often equals some crowding. You may find yourself sitting in the basketball courts, side-lined and waiting. That is for your opportunity to play ball. The circumstances may be samelike by the pools. I read in other reviews some unsavory conduct by certain patrons. If persons are uniating in children's view, there is a problem likely with accessible restrooms. No one should discover a used hypodermic needle in a park. Prehaps firmer regulations and warning signage may discourage such practices and increase safety for all.

Great place to visit and relax and unwind. Has pools for the summer so you can swim , big Field to play soccer or go picnicking, about 7-8 tennis courts, a wall to play hand ball or practice tennis alone, and also restrooms.. great local park overall.

Great Kiddie pool (except it doesn't have the murals like in the pictures). Staff is friendly. Kids pool is completely gated off from larger pool, for those of us with runners.

Only thing great about this park is the new playground they installed by front entrance! The rest of the Park needs an overhaul! It's dated old, not very welcoming. Town of Islip has missed the mark on this green space! It could be such a great place but seems to be a wasted green area! Poorly utilized bc wrong crowds go here

Nice and quiet place, not crowded even weekends, nice little pool for kids and great pool for adults. Picnic and barbeque area with grills, small soccer and volleyball playing area. Huge free parking lot. $ 12 per person.

👍👍 Today was my first visit to this park and I loved it. Took my dog and we walked all over the trails and made our way to the water and sat and just enjoyed the view. After a while we headed back and laid out on a blanket in the grass and enjoyed the day. The dog parks are huge and there is tons of ro...
