Solid little park with views of the canal and a local marina. It’s a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of local traffic. Bring a lunch and enjoy a little quiet time. The only issue is the over abundance of goose droppings which make walking from the parking lot to any of the nice seating benches almost impossible to do without stepping on some ****. Small well-kept park on a pretty canal with benches, paths, and a New England vibe....small but right on Montauk hwy in Amityville. No horror here. I'm sorry Amityville is known for that time and movie. I live in Copaigue and walk down with a pizza or sandwich and coffee, and enjoy the lovely Long Island feel from my youth.

Great stopping point to escape the busy work day. Bring a book and just enjoy being there!

Old and on a Canal. The kids have fun there good for photos!!! Be on the lookout there are hills! Needs landscaping assistance from London Landscape nearby on Old Sunrise Highway in #Massapequa.

NICE place to take a trip on your mobility scooter but you can't go around the paths there is gravel. If your partially mobile and you use a cane you can park your scooter at the entrance. Amityville is not handicapped friendly! There are no SAFE SIDEWALKS for Mobility chairs and scooters.
