It's the sauce!! Loads of fresh food all day every day. Typically same staff faces every single time you walk through the door. Never a disappointment...EVER! Whether taking out, grabbing quick slices, or sitting in the cozy dining room served by the friendliest waitress in the neighborhood you can not go wrong. 10 stars!!

This was my first time there and it was outstanding! The service, the food and the atmosphere made for a nice evening. When I'm in the area again I will be dropping in for a bite!

They have GREAT $10.00 lunch specials during the week. I ordered the penne Ala Vodka incredible. It came with salad 🥗 and bread 🍞

Have to be honest as I always am when I write my reviews. I was turned off when I ordered my daughter two slices of pepperoni pizza and it was $10, the guy said it’s $5 a slice just for that I was thinking I wouldn’t come back here as that is just absurd. So then my daughter started to eat the pizza and besides all the oil dripping off of it, in which that usually means cheap cheese and plus the pepperoni a bit it was sweet like there was way too much sugar not only added to the sauce but the cheese was sweet it was honestly the grossest pizza I have ever tasted I don’t know how the other food is here but for me I would never recommend nor come back!!🤮

Alot to choose from and this place was packed on an early weekend afternoon. We had their buffalo wings, fried calamari and a rice ball. The fried calamari and rice ball were delicious. The Buffalo wings were the tiniest of wings I've eaten in a long time and something I wouldn't get again. Would go for their pizza on the next visit.

Never try it 😡 the owner is the most cheating and unpleasant person in the world. I ordered my food, picked it up and paid, it was very cold, like it came out of the refrigerator. I called immediately, the manager in charge offered me a refund or the same dish as compensation. I went back to the restaurant to order again, the owner gave me a hard time, he humiliated me in front of the customers and employees. No food, nothing. Not recommended. There are better Italian restaurants than this, especially with such horrible management. the owner did the most to denied & not fix the issue with the order, but instead he twisted everything up, make lies & excuses.

Excellent staff and clean eating area. Food is delicious but a little pricey. They have theme night for savings to take advantage of during the week. Would love to see them offer complete meals always that include a small salad with your meal rather than a choice of pasta or salad. Also, offer white sandwich wraps rather than whole wheat. We enjoy this place ♡.

So many different kinds of pizza slices to choose from. Salad pizza with the eggplant on the bottom is so delicious.

Just recently stopped in this place last week and the pizza is very good. I'll be trying the specials next week. Not all pizza is the same and being Italian I know good pizza.

Amazing pizza place. The only issue i have is that they do not deliver directly. They only deliver through a service. Food amazing though the Chipotle chicken pizza is so good.

Great food. When we went it was very busy. Definitely a hustle & bustle. Staff was pleasant enough even if there was a kind of a sense of urgency when making your order otherwise you feel you're holding up the process. It was a good place with good pizza. Everything should be secondary anyway.

Best pizza in Long Island. Just moved here from S.I. Never tasted pizza like Alitalia. In SI .Also leaved in Brooklyn It's better than Original pizza in Canarsie.

when we found our house, the next important task was to right Pizza place. Alitalia is AMAZING- we just wish they would deliver and we would order prob 3+ additional times monthly. They work with food apps but we try to support directly to the Local Businesses.

Last time we ordered, the gluten free pizza was stuck to the pan and terrible. When I called, I was just told, that’s how they are. Tonight I got gluten free pasta and they forgot the chicken. The worst part is they don’t seem to really care. I used to order from them a lot, but I feel like they have not been as good lately.

I tried New York pizza in NYC for the first time, and was disappointed. I brought my girls here and it was SO GOOD! We loved it! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well!

August 6, 2023 review… ok so we ordered the marinara pie (also known as tomato pie in Philly) with pepperoni. It is a deep dish round pie with the texture of a Sicilian pie and the only cheese on it is grated Parmesan I believe but may be Romano. Also added pepperoni as u can see, When I tell you guys it was absolutely amazing, the crust is crispy on the bottom and airy and pillowey on the inside, the sauce is so well balanced, it’s tangy, well seasoned and salted and a tiny bit of spice. No mozzarella needed on this work of perfection!!!!! This is now going to be my go to pizza!!! Can’t wait to try the entrees next time

So a friend recommended the Red onion bread crumb pizza. If you’ve had Joe’s in Holbrook then you know what i’m talking about. Which is why I was super disappointed when I opened the box and found a soggy bread crumby pizza with yellow onions on a thin crust sicillian dough. I picked up a slice and pretty much everything fell off right away. The specials for plain pies on Wednesday are good though but absolutely would not recommend a specialty pie from this place unfortunately. And this was my first time ordering a specialty pie from Alitalia.

We went here Tues 8/22 a party of 4 as a Farwell dinner to an ill friend. I would like to Thank the staff for the wonderful service and food. The server was so accommodating of his food restrictions. So kind so courteous. I am sure we were a bit on the loud side do to all the talk over and laughter and apologize for it. But we were made so welcome. I will recommend this place to everyone. can't say enough great things about this small family restaurant. Again thank you all.

I've been coming to this place since I was about 12yrs old or so. Always consistently good food and good service whether having pizza in the front or a nice sit down dinner in the back.

Alitalia is one of the best in the area. They are consistent and have some excellent variety of pizza. I can’t think of 1 item I did not like. Staff is excellent too great service. Price is fair for the great quality

I wasn't a fan when I first tried the regular pie about a year or two ago and the prices are pretty high for some specialty pies. But as long as they keep the Hot Honey Pie on the menu, I will keep coming back.

Love the food, but there's two guys who like to pick and choose which customers they help. I go a lot and have had multiple situations where the guy will help customers in front of me or behind me but then when its my turn he pretends to be busy and I have to wait for the Spanish man to take my order (he's usually the one who is more busy than the other people who take orders). It happened recently again last week when my husband went in with our friend. The chubby white guy took my friend's order but then looked at my husband and pretended he was busy (not realizing they were together) so my husband waited 3 minutes before the Spanish man could take his order because he had other customers (meanwhile the chubby guy is just chatting it up, acting busy, and ignoring the fact that my husband is standing there waiting. I wouldn't make it a big deal if the same thing hadn't been happening to me before and if i didn't know EXACTLY who he was talking about when he told me what happened. It's an awful feeling and I have no desire to go again which sucks because their pizza is favorite!

Wednesday pie special 1st time ever trying this place out, so far the plain pie reminded me of childhood living in Queens,definitely delish.. coming back to try everything else, awesome pizza. The rating will be 5⭐️, once I get to taste the menu

This place was recently on the news, and it upset me. Someone would break into this restaurant and steal money. When I use to live in this district, and especially did volunteer fire work this was the must go to place. This restaurant really makes excellent food, great prices, and excellent staff. This place Is really amazng.

4 times I placed an order for pasta and specified to be cooked soft. All 4 times the pasta was hard. Some of them I had to reboil myself. Done with this place. In response to your reply if I am paying I should get it thr way I want it.

The waitress should have stated they charge you if you use your credit card. Not good for business. Well too bad cause its not on the menu that was given to me. No worries I shall go to,another restaurant to eat.

Been coming here for about a decade. I'm mostly there for the pizza, have never sat in the restaurant, so this is where my review is based. I've tried many pizza places in the area and always wind up back here. Reg slices, Brooklyn, Sicilian, hot honey pepperoni, chicken chipotle, spinach artichoke, all the rolls, fried capellini... Basically anything under the glass is really good. The staff at Alitalia is always friendly and personable. It's got that friendly neighborhood feel. This should be the template for all businesses that interact with customers. I get good vibes just thinking about going in there cause the people are really nice and cool and sometimes even talk it up with you just because. Hope they are here for a very long time and keep it going. Don't fix it if it ain't broken!

Excellent regular pizza. One of the best pizzerias around. Good food, chicken rolls, pin wheels and specialty slices are consistently good. Always busy. Would get 5 stars if they delivered.

Great Pizza, excellent service. . Sit down Dinners in the back dinning rooms are always delicious. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Food is always excellent. I got a spinach and feta pie I guess you could call it, and a buffalo roll. Both were very good. My grandmother got the minestrone and she enjoyed it. She usually gets the lentil which is also very good. I reheated my leftover spinach and feta thing in the air fryer and it was even better the second time around! Love going to this place when I'm in the area.
