Noor Food benefits from being one of the only Halal restaurants in the Babylon area. In addition to the chicken and gyro staples, there's offerings in Desi cuisines such as Chapli Kababs, Lahori Chana, Samosa Chaat and more. Across the board, we felt the flavors were muted for our ordered items. The Chicken Tikka Masala is actually a mild tasting Butter Chicken, which we would highly recommend for a menu naming update as that's more recognizable and popular. The Chicken over Rice and Salad had less chicken than we were expecting, and still suffered from under-seasoning. The Tandoori Wings tasted fresh, had good char and were a nice change from the wings normally found in a chicken over rice restaurant. The standout item was the Samosa Chaat, which featured two fresh samosas with yogurt and spices. We really wished the Samosa Chaat had the classic tamarind chutney it's served with in most restaurants as that would've taken it from good to great. Despite our respect for the unique, inclusive menu and convenient location, no one from our party showed a willingness to order again in the near future. Hoping to see more of what Noor Food can do as one of the standout Halal options amongst the lackluster chains in the area.

Cheap delicious middle eastern food. Served simply. Friendly staff. Spicy or not. Great vegetarian options also. PLEASE START DELIVERING!

I was ready for lunch one day and stumbled upon this gem. I’m not from the area so I wasn’t sure what I was walking into. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a respectful and friendly gentleman and after admitting that I have very little experience with Halal food, he guided me to a decision on a mixed platter with chicken and gyro meat. The food is delicious and comforting. The staff is honest and friendly. The price is beyond fair and the quality is all there. Give this place a try and see for yourself! This is proper service!

Amazing halal food in Long Island. Coming from NYC where Halal carts rule, it’s hard getting decent tasting halal in LI but Noor’s hits the spot. Been going here for two years and never disappoints

Super food! Not just gyros. I get the chicken (I think it's tindoori, can't spell it, but it eats really good). The guys are always happy to put the sauce on the side and any other little things I ask for.

I am dying to come back here. I was a little nervous at first because halal places can sometimes be hit or miss but this place was a HIT. The tandoori chicken was so juicy and tender, the lamb kabob was so juicy and the rice was well cooked, even the salad was great and not soggy just fresh all around. I got the combo and took a star off only because the menu says it comes with thigh and drumstick and I only got a drumstick. I couldn’t even complain because I was already halfway done with the plate because it was so good. I definitely recommend just check your plate before you leave if you are doing take out in case something is missing but the food is DELICIOUS!!!

I just did not enjoy the quality of food. It wasn’t bad, but it was weird and I really wish I just went to Shahs. The chicken was oddly soft, but cooked. The sauce was weird too.. they warned me it would e spicy, it is not spicy at all.

Food is excellent and reasonably priced. My favorite is the Tikka Masala (family would disagree, they love the gyros). Also a lot heart healthier than most food you get from take out.

Best Halal chicken and rice, lamb and rice, on Long Island! Other places we've tried make my family feel gross after eating, and don't taste nearly as good as Noor. And the price is so right! My family eats here twice a month.

I love this place! Wakas, is a great guy and always helpful when you want to try something new. Definitely recommend.

Excellent take-out for middle eastern food. Everything I tried there is excellent, the curries, the kabobs, the gyros. I especially recommend the lamb kabob over rice and salad, and the goat curry. Both are excellent, flavorful, and very affordable.

The food is pretty good. Not amazing but will definitely be a suitable meal and a good size portion. Prices have increased as a chicken and rice platter with a water is now over $12. The restroom has been out of order for several years now which didn’t bother me but seemed unusual nonetheless. The customer service is excellent and the staff is friendly.

This is the absolute #1 halal restaurant in all of NY. Everything from the food to the owner Waqas is unique and distinguishable from every other Halal restaurant ( and as someone who has lived on hillside Blvd in floral Park queens I have been to many)! Owner is polite, friendly and quick to get the job done. The food is superb and as authentic as can be. If you are looking for a new Halal spot this is the one and will quickly become your favorite! 🤲📿☪️

Ordered a chicken over rice. It was tasty but taste very different from traditional chicken platters. The seasoning and white sauce was a different taste but still good.

Just order food to go. Falafel and gyro... absolutely delicious. I also bought Baklava, another delicious choice

I no longer live in long island but you know the food is good when you must stop by everytime you are in town. Honestly the best I have had .The owner is a very nice man. Highly recommend if you have had bad experience with halal give this place a try and you will never think twice about having halal .

Noor has some of the best Halal Food in the Babylon Area. The owner and staff are friendly people, they're clean and offer quality food and portions for a fair price. My family and I were so excited to try this new place! The rice was good but the chicken was horrible it was soggy and had no taste. The sauce was weird. And I told the no peppers and they put all kinds of peppers and I asked them for lettuce and they didn’t even put a single piece of lettuce! I’m never going back ever again
