My wife and I went out that night to celebrate the life of her mother who passed away a month ago. We walked around Babylon Village and found The Carriage House. She said there were many reviews that were good so I said okay let's try it plus we found a couple of drinks we wanted to try. I am so glad I listen to my wife in her suggestions. We sat at the bar. Eric the bartender was very busy but very nice and made us feel welcomed. His drinks that he made were delicious along with the cauliflower and the thin pizza we ordered. We both enjoyed ourselves so much that we turned into kids again forgetting our age. We will definitely be back. We ordered a chocolate cake which was out if this world. Eric still came around even though the place got busy after 11 to see how we were doing and how everything was. I told him excellent. Thank you Eric and The Carriage House for a wonderful evening.

Went here on a Saturday night with reservations for a small group. We waited a bit for our table and had to sit on the stools. Even though it wasn't that busy, we waited in between drinks and courses. The waiter was ok but he could have been better. The Thai shrimp was very good and flavorful. The entrees were very good also and portions were nice. Overall decent experience but I have to say that for the amount of tables and people there the service should have been better and faster and I shouldn't have to constantly ask for more water or drinks.

Nice atmosphere, the waiter was very personable. We had a few appetizers, shrimp taco, spinach/artichoke dip, Thai calamari, and the garlic roasted cauliflower (this was a little bland). The filet mignon was super tender and tasty, yummy sautéed spinach, the mac n cheese was good. Unfortunately the prime rib was a little tough, but they made it right immediately and offered to replace with any entrée. The drinks were delish as well,, we had the toasted coconut Martini & pomegranate punch (I liked the punch bettet) The food it very good, you will not be disappointed.

The food is really good and the staff were very nice. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I felt we waited a little long for our dinners to be served to our table when it wasn't that busy when we placed our orders. It did get busy a little later on and I felt we got lost in the shuffle. My family and I had a nice evening and made the most of it.

I had my daughters bridal shower here on the upper level. It was spacious and enough room to walk around, decorate, and socialize. The buffet style meals were plentiful and fresh. The young ladies attending to us were available and facilitated the event with ease. I could complain about minor mistakes, but it’s not worthy of the exceptional atmosphere and help we received cThanks Carriage House!

Beautiful place in Babylon. Took advantage of restaurant week as shown on News12. $35 got Thai Calamari ( just right, not spicy) appetizer and a crab stuffed flounder entree along with desert. The fall sangria was great. Merlot, ginger ale, pineapple and orange juices along with some fireball and a cinnamon coated rim for that fall aroma. Highly recommend and will return for sure!

Service was great. Courtney was fantastic. We had the restaurant week menu. I hear the stuffed salmon, shrimp and asparagus ravioli along with the chocolate cookie dessert. My friends had the steak sliders, churrasco with penne and the cheesecake. The salmon was dry and under seasoned. The sliders were mediocre. The best part of the meal was the ravioli. Delicious! Along with the cheesecake.

The food is absolutely amazing. The service was a little slow, but that did not take away from the food. We went Wednesday for the lobster fest. The Lobster was huge. Definitely going back again and again

Went to the Carriage House for my birthday weekend. The wait was 40 minutes. But well worth it. I had the Center Cut Filet Mignon with Truffle Mac and Cheese and asparagus. Amazing. And my wife had the shrimp scampi. Definitely would recommend this place for a nice dinner and dancing. The restaurant has a section, called The Loft, where you can dance and drink.

This is one of my favorite go to restaurants. I love the classic history and charm of this establishment. More so, service is always pleasant and professional and food quality, preparation, and timeliness is outstanding! I'm never disappointed and the range if food options on their restaurant week is always extensive. They are great for bridal showers, special events, etc.

I ordered filet mignon plain without herb butter due to food allergies to which I made it clear that it was an allergy concern. The filet was served with the herb butter. Thankfully I only had one bite before I tasted the herbs. The waiter took back the steak. My filet was delivered after everyone else had eaten. The manager came over 10 minutes after my steak was delivered and asked if everything was ok. I said that I ordered it med and this one is well done. He said he would take it back but how long are we to wait for the 3rd steak? I ate the dry filet. When we got the bill the steak was also included? We asked the manager about this and his response is “there’s nothing I can do”…then asked if we wanted dessert? We had the check and we’re ready to leave and now he wants to offer us something for their mistake. The manager was rude and unprofessional. They don’t really pay special attention if you have food allergies. So glad I tasted the herbs because I could have gotten severely Ill. I will not be back to the Carriage House

We just held a 1st birthday here and I cannot reccomend having a private party here enough. We had a brunch and the food was beyond plentiful, was always hot and was CONSTANTLY being topped off. We even were sent home with leftovers. I am so bummed because I know I am missing a name so I apologize but the women I specifically worked with for my party were Erin(leading up to and day of event-- super responsive and easy to work with!) And then Lindsey, Ella and one more waitress(forgotten name sooo sorry but she had red hair!!)--this team was highly efficient, insanely polite and genuine to all of our guests. Thank you so so much again! We can't wait for our next event!!

Our meal at Babylon Carriage house was absolutely INCREDIBLE. 11/10. We went on a Saturday night; myself, my mom and my boyfriend. It was cozy, service was great and again — the food was spectacular. We got the Mussels, a summer Lobster Cavatelli special, truffle Mac and cheese and the Rice Balls with truffle cheese fondue. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to come back!

The place was mostly empty. With this in mind, we expected drinks quickly. It took at least 10-15 minutes. THEY WERE NOT BUSY! Shrimp tacos were made using salad shrimp. Eggplant dinner was swimming in tomato sauce. Our waiter was training someone else and told us the specials before getting our drink orders. Our drinks had surcharges for ice. The bill showed it as a separate charge with no explanation. A sad version of itself. Years ago it was so crowed, we had a hard time making a reservation.

We were very pleased by your manager Eric who graciously extended the Prix Fixe menu when we were told that the program was over at 6:00 when told on the phone we would have Prix Fixe menu for our 7:00 appt. In addition, he bought our table our first drinks. The man was 23 years old and had the perfect solution and deserves credit. My family is involved in many hospitality businesses and the cordiality is beyond expectation and is a credit to your business.

Thanksgiving dinner was delicious! Only complaint I could offer is it was a little cold easy fix just bring something to have in case your cold. Kudos to the staff for making Thanksgiving a wonderful memory for my family.

Food is good. We tend to go for drinks which then turns into a fun night of dancing! My recommendation , come down for a bite around 830, have some drinks then by 10pm break out your dancing shoes and get loose!

We held my wife’s Celebration Of Life this past weekend at the Babylon Carriage House and it was not only a beautiful and clean facility, but the staff was top notch. I especially would like to thank Gabby who took point in handling any special requests the family had. Whatever we needed, whenever we needed it- Gabby was there with a smile and just owned it. With so much going on that day to make everything perfect for our guests, she was an indispensable asset to the family members working behind the scenes to make it a lovely and memorable occasion. In addition, the food was fantastic and plentiful. Everybody remarked on what a great choice it was.. We would 100% recommend Babylon Carriage house to anybody considering holding an event there! Bravo!!!

Very disappointing. Mussel broth, had no flavor at all. Ordered linguine with shrimp in a scampi sauce with tomatoes, and again no flavor. It was like they just took garlic and threw it in the dish. Wasn't even sauteed. Coffee was very good. They did take the pasta off the bill, but that's part of the issue. I enjoy eating out, and always did enjoy the carriage house. I don't think they have experienced chefs. Won't be going back there. The waitress was excellent. Wish I could remember her name. She was very accommodating and sympathetic. Also, they got very pricey. Prices on line do not reflect the in house menu at all.I will not pay $47.00 for skirt steak.

Really enjoyed my braised short rib and risotto. My guest really like her shrimp and linguine. 7pm reservation. A bit loud, for those of us over 50. Very popular place. Bar is a great place to hangout for small groups. Bartenders are very friendly and attentive.
