The design of this place is lovely and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the food was horrible. Coconut shrimp was over fried, no taste, like a hockey puck actually. The roasted chicken came as strips not a breast or a quarter and was very dry. The server was apologetic and comped the Coconut shrimp as we didn't even eat it anyway. The beer and drinks are good so that's that. It was steak night and in all fairness we didn't have the steak. Maybe that would've been the way to go. Oh well. Def don't come here for the food. You will be disappointed. The var crowd was quite lively however!

On a fresh Summer night it was wonderful to be sitting outside at a restaurant once again! Friendly service. The opening of outdoor seating, long overdue on Long Island is a welcome change. A simple menu with some nice choices.

The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the sweet Potato bisque, very tasty. The Prefix menu is definitely worth it's value and you receive really nice portions. I encourage all to have the pretzel with gouda cheese in is mouthwatering. Desserts completed the meals. Il

Service was excellent, our reservation got messes up at another restaurant so we went i to Argule without a reservation in a busy Saturday night. We explained that it was someone’s birthday and how we disnt have a table. They found us a table for 6, the wait staff was outstanding AND they even made a little birthday cake for our friend. Totally unexpected Pear marrini-excellent, salmon flavorful, steak tender, swordfish excellent Prices a little high but ok as the food was outstanding

Great drinks and food. Service is excellent too. Watermelon martini and blueberry mojito were amazingly intoxicating.

Delicious food. Great specials. Nice prix fix menu. Portion sizes were large. Good wine and beer selection at reasonable prices. Very clean. Attentive waitress. Definitely will be back. If you're reading this......you should go.

Taco Tuesday special. Steak tacos were pretty dry and bland. Shrimp tacos weren't dry,but also bland. Sangria was pretty good. They do a few things good, but tacos weren't something to rave about.

This is the third time I have been to Argyle here and everytime I am dissatisfied. This time the service was surprisingly good, but the food was really just not great. Many of the dishes were cold and just not very tasty.I got the short rib tacos and they were cold. The french fries were good but thats it. All of our apps were room temperature or cold. Also, some of the things on the menu were unavailable. The server said they haven't had chicken pot pie in almost a month and a few of their drinks were unavailable. The only reason I ever end up going here is because there is always seating. Overall 73/100

What a nice find! Babylon was packed and we didn't have a reservation so we wandered into Argyle and twenty minutes later, a table. The staff and, believe it or not, the patrons were so nice. Prices are moderate to low for the type of food they serve up, which is great. Drinks were fresh, strong and cold. Good experience all around. I highly recommend.

My husband and I came here for his birthday dinner. The hostess was so friendly and pleasant. Something we unfortunately have not experienced lately and it is definitely an important detail that plays a part in setting the tone for a dining experience. When we were seated, the waiter was prompt with introducing himself and getting drink orders. Throughout the night, he was attentive, prompt and so sweet. I had a Watermelon martini. There's was a little issue with the drink but very happy to say it was taken care of immediately. We had the calamari, Brie stuffed pretzel, skirt steak and stuff salmon. Everything was delicious. The one issue that I did have was that when we went to pay the bill with my Citibank card, the waiter returned and said that there is an issue with their machine so they can't take the card. When I questioned this, he said this has been happening for a few years where their machine doesn't process the Citibank cards. I was surprised to hear this because if it has been an issue that can't be resolved, something should be posted and patrons should be notified. I have worked in the restaurant business and have never heard of an issue like this lasting for years without it being resolved. My thought was though, what about patrons that all they have are citibank cards to pay without the option of getting cash. They would have dined and would be unable to pay? Overall we had a nice dining experience and will visit again but I hope the Citi issue can be resolved or posted.

Ran in before we saw a show locally… waiter knew we were on a time crunch, which they had no trouble accommodating. Very friendly efficient waiter and the food was delicious. Wish we had more time to sit and enjoy. Next time :-)

We’ve been trying to come here for a while and the wait is always an hour or there’s no reservations so we were glad we found ourselves walking around Babylon Village one early afternoon this weekend and got a table right away. Friendly staff, very nice interior, clean. Wrong drink order was brought and after we placed our food order, another waitress came over to ask for our order. Food was pretty good…when we actually got it. Our appetizers (pretzel and bowl of clam chowder) took over 35 minutes. Rest of the meal came soon enough after, good portions but a little expensive. Food itself gets 3.5 stars.

I just came back from a great Brunch at Argyle. My friend and I both got the Vanilla French Toast and split the Crab Cakes. We both also got a Mimosa and Sangria. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced considering all the food we got! You can’t beat the $5 drinks. I can’t wait to come back.

Had a nice meal again. Stopped by for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered steak and eggs, and they made over easy eggs instead of Sunnyside up eggs that I asked for, but the meal was still great. My wife got the omelette which she loved and the bottomless drinks (bloody mary and sangria) were great as well

My friend Elaine and I went for Sunday brunch. The place was jumping. Had a great steak and eggs. The steak was juicy and tasty. Home fries was a mix of peppers and onions. Good meal for the price. I'll be back.

Good calamari but the skirt steak was like eating a rubber band . We had a party of 4 and we ordered 3 skirt steaks s as is all of them were not good. Wine by the glass was a small pour. The best thing was the mashed potatoes

Wow! Nice menu however my guest and I ordered 2 hamburgers and after 30 minutes I had to find where my server was and ask where is our order. The reply was I’m sorry but your order went to another table! Glad I asked. Anyway there was no apology and after our food arrived the server never came over to ask if everything is ok or if we needed anything. The place is overpriced and the service was terrible and impolite. I’ll never ever return.

This was the first time I sat down and ate here and it was really good. The marinated steak sandwich was good, a little small, and way too much bread but still tasted good. The steak fries were okay but the sweet potato fries were delicious. The burger my fiance had was good but she over kills it so I'd like to try it myself someday. The couple that was with us had fried calamari and a pork chop sandwich which they both enjoyed besides there fries.

My family have been going to the argyle since they initially opened. Thought I’d treat my grandson to a date and took him to the argyle for lunch. Sooo disappointed. Ordered burgers medium. they came not even cooked sent them back. The were returned looking no different and the plate of food looked disheveled not very appetizing. The Fries by then were cold. My grandson said he wasn’t hungry anymore ( i wonder why?) so i asked for the check. The waitress said the manager took off one burger. The bill $45 disgusting!! I will pay anything for good food but not for what we got. Oh did i mention i has to get up twice to find out where my order was? We are on our way to get some lunch somewhere else.

Been going since the Argyle opening.never ever had a bad meal.today was terrible calamari must have been the end of the bag, all tiny pieces and crumbs, over fried. My wife's chicken cardinal which is always a great meal had no mash potatoes on it and the cutlets were burnt. Waiter was in over his head. SHAME !!

This was a cute place I went to with my friend Lori. It was a cozy dim lighted environment. I had. The Mediterranean salad with crispy chicken. I never order Salad but since it was a lunch tried it. I loved it. That was the most tastiest salad combination ever. I ate it slowly. It was a good sized portion and the chicken had like an Asian type sauce deep fried, crispy on the outside, but so tender and juicy on the inside. I was talking about it so much since it was so good, that the customers next to us ordered the same thing. Lol

I love this place, Noah is the best bartender! Unfortunately the only downfall is they changed their amazing Caesar salads to something…else. It’s not the same but at least the drinks are still amazing.
