Absolutely the worst experience ever. I went here because I was in town and I am Trinidadian descent. So when I googled restaurants nearby I automatically wanted to try this place out. First off I waited approximately 45 mins to be served when there was only 3 customers ahead of me. I had a chance to look at the food. Didnt see the mac n cheese so I asked if they had mac n cheese before I wait. the woman said yes we do. So i see the picture of the mac and cheese and i ended up waiting an additional 30 mins. The lady was by her self and clearly couldn't multi task cause when someone spoke to her she completely froze up. Here comes a woman from the back to add rice to a mostly full tray. Most restaurants would switch it out not pile fresh food on top of old food. I should have left after seeing this. But no I wanted to get this nearly 5 star food. So the second lady goes to the back to most likely do something unproductive. I would go on and on about how poorly managed this place is but their is a simple fix.have 1 or 2 people serving the food and one person at the register.and get rid of all the presets the hitting the name of dishes. That only works on touch screens. So after 45 mins of me waiting and asking nicely I finally get helped. Only to be half helped. Clearly the workers cannot multitask. Anyway the mac and cheese wasn't good the veggie thing was good and whatever rubber like meat was horrible. I will not ever go back again.

WHEN INQUIRED ABOUT CHARGES, I WAS TOLD I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH THE FOOD COST. JUST PAY THE ORDER THEN I'LL TELL YOU AFTER LOL. $28 FOR A TASSO AND $19 FOR THE GRIYO PLUS TAX...

The food there is average. I bought the black rice with griot, the rice wasn't tasty at all, the griot was dry. I ordered a a large stew chicken and they gave me all the rice in a large container and 3 little pieces of chicken in the small container..that was deceiving. The lady serving was very abrupt, and she was concerned that me passing my hand through my hair would somehow get in the food behind the glass and she called me out on it. It was embarrassing. However she is the one serving me my food over the counter and she doesn't even have a hat or hair net on..what about hair going in my food?!? I know for sure I won't be buying there again

The lady behind the counter was extremely rude. I bought food for the whole family. The white rice was horrible. The legume was bad. The chicken was bland and the food gave us all a stomachache. My wife almost threw up. Please avoid this awful restaurant. Absolutely disgusting. We threw the rest of the food away. In closing Get maman to everyone associated with this God awful place. They should be shut down immediately.

I was curious about this place so l stopped in for a few minutes. I asked to see if the curry goat was available but she said not really but could give me a sample. It must have taken them at least five minutes before they came back out with a small little cup and a fork so I tasted it. The meat was very dry not even moist matter of fact very hard. Then l asked about the the oxtail and she replied it will cost you $16 for the plate. Although the place was clean there was only one lady, a helper and I guess the chef in the back. Not very good service. I don't recommend this place. If all the dishes cost $16.00 for the small plate what do you think the large serving platter will be?? Adios!!

This place is by far THE worst restaurant ever. I know they buy some of their 5 stars reviews but what they should do is do better: food, customer service...! The food is horrible, the lady is a scammer, over priced ! I paid $85 for 3 fritaille, she asked me to pay before she can tell me the price of the food. When I got home, I realized it was the wrong order, I called her to let her know if she can make the right one, she literally asked me to bring the wrong plate back to her, then she hung up ( in this COVID age !) So she can resale it to others. I felt bad because I wouldn't want to eat other people food during COVID. My mom said forget it, you live and you learn. NEVER AGAIN!

Nice setting but poor service. My niece and I went there for dinner. We were seated on a table, the server brought water and the menu for us. She said I'll be back to take your orders in 5 minutes. She came back in 15 minutes and told us that she will be back in 5 more minutes. We waited for another 20 minutes, but she never showed up. We decided to leave and went somewhere else.

I just have the legume it’s delicious taste almost like my GRANDMA 😋 😋😋

This is an amazing restaurant! They have a variety of great, delicious food and always fresh. If they don’t have what you want, they will prepare it for you upon request while you wait. The place is very clean and the food area is well kept . The service is also awesome! I strongly recommend this business!

This is a hole in the wall. Take out only. We've passed them on our way to visit family in West Babylon many times. But it's usually for a family gathering with plenty of food, so we were never able to stop in. This time, we were just stopping by to help with computer problems. Hubby is IT. Yay, we got to try this Haitian restaurant finally! We got Beef Legume and Black Rice, this is so good!!! The black rice was so flavorful that you could eat it without anything else. Oxtail with Black Rice was tasty, but the oxtail could be more tender. We took everything back to his nephew's house. He has 2 little ones, and neither he nor the kids ever had Haitian food. Everyone loved it! Even the pikliz! LOL Will definitely try to go back next time we are in the area!

The food was disappointing and tasteless. The black-bean sauce (Sos Pwa) tasted watered down. For the thickness of the fried plantain, they did not fry it enough so the middle was dry. It was difficult to taste the seasoning of the fried chicken and only the top layer of the chicken was fried. It wasn't fried all the way through. I ended up paying $61, when all I really wanted was two sides of chicken, a side of legume and a small cup of Sos Pwa. They said it had to come with rice or plantain for each chicken/legume dish and that the price wouldn't change if I didn't get the rice. Why you do that?

The food is just nasty. i wasted my last $35 and now i have to throw the food away. Tasteless not good at all. Please close this place down.

Haitian food only I thought it was a lil of all Caribbean food. I ordered fish n black rice and a piece of plantain fell, the chef pick it up and went in the back two seconds later she came out and put a plantain in my bag. I was disgusted. Not even to give me the sanity to leave the dirty food on the ground and get a fresh one in the back. Nothing but, she must of brush the dirt off and bring it back to the front. NEVER AGAIN!

This place is is nice, but the food is terrible. I took uber to come buy food there. I spent 90 dollars for one fish, one goat and two rices. The fish was hortible full of oil and taste bad. The black beans source was tasteless . It was a shame for somebody charging people so expenssive for that tasteless food. Please hire good cook. Please fire the cook you have now. The lady that was serving was nice. But the food is bad.

The food at Paradise Caribbean Restaurant is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the owner is so friendly and takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

This is a fine establishment. Every-time I come they bless me with amazing food and a warm Welcome. I always see the same women ready for my order and already aware of what I want! Thank you Paradise! I will becoming again.

I had no idea if there was any Haitian Restaurant in Suffolk County until randomly I found Paradise. I was so excited and I went there, I have no regret, typical Haitian foods,...go check it out you will not regret it.

THE GOAT is AMAZING. Hands down the best thing on the menu. My daughters always get either the soup or legume. Love eating my homeland food. Definitely a must eat place.

I brought a soup joumou today. Omg, the soup was nasty, salty, and basically have nothing on it. There were no taste of the joumou on the soup at all. I will not recommend anybody to buy food there. This restaurant should be closed out if they can’t have chefs in the kitchen that know how to cook. It was an horrible experience.

I bought oxtails and griot Friday and the food was excellent with great customer service and fast service! I also bought white rice and sos paw to go with my legume and it was fresh delicious and great. The place is extremely clean and professional staff

Place is clean we were very happy with the service. We ordered white rice with black beans sauce and Legumes My sister ordered Goat and black rice, The portions were perfect and the food was excellent. I definitely recommend this clean and tasty spot with fast and great service.

It’s a family restaurant where cousins, aunts, uncles and children are the owners and hire a professional staff as they work along side them so it’s a great vibe. On June 18th, my children selected Paradise Caribbe to cater a birthday party, and placed a large order for the event to honor their Haitian culture What a disappointment!!!!!. They ordered a large tray of Fritaille Nothing was cooked properly, akra was salty, marinade hard as rock, the potatoes sliced very thin and under cooked, the platians (banan pézé) 2inches thick and very greasy, they ordered some fried chicken, OMG. SMH. WHAT A MESS. ALL BONY PIECES, FELT LIKE CRACKERS. As for.the black rice (du riz jonjon) tasteless and went bad in less than 2hrs. The brown rice (du rice ak pois Rouge) felt like it was cooked with calalou, very slimy. Almost $800.00 (eight hundred) worth of.food went straight to the garbage 🗑😑 This is definitely not a place to use for any type.of catering. Hope this will never happened to anyone else. Maybe this is just a place for a single order. They definitely not equipped for any large order as yet.

My husband brought 2 orders of Legume one with black rice the other with brown rice with beans. The food was cold, tasteless and the Legume was watery. Never again. Stop taking people hard earned money for slop.

Quick and easy service with a smile the food was good but as a Haitian man who grew up eating sensational Haitian food I may be settling my expectations too high and not everyone can cook Haitian food the way I expect

My family and I ate here for the first time and the food was soo good. We even got some to go home! The service is wonderful and the servers are so sweet! I highly recommend.
