If you haven't tried the upside-down square pizza then you're missing out on something special. It's unbelievable what changing the order of laying down ingredients can do to the taste. The sauce goes on top of the cheese. I like that the crust is not too thick. They have many locations so if you're around any do yourself a favor and give them a try.

My family has been coming to Albert's Pizza for over 55 years. That's right. 55 years! Originally, Albert's Pizza Shop was on Oak Street in Copiague. We are fourth generation Italian-Americans who love our pizza and pasta. We all (10 of us ) went to Copiague Junior and Senior High School back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. We would come here after school and hang out with our friends. Albert's Pizza Shop has the best pizza and pasta in the area and the quality and service remain outstanding. Their garlic knots are positively and absolutely addicting, so be careful as your waistline may suffer from collateral damage. lol. Keep up the great tradition guys! And thank you for all the great memories over all these years.

Awesome square pizza. Great tasting sauce. Haven't had it in a few years and just bought a whole pie and tastes exactly as I remember it. Very consistent. It is a must try if you love pizza.

Visited here twice during my visit to Long Island. The pizza is that good. Unique with tasty sliced cheese under the sauce.

Giving neutral until I find out for myself if this original location STILL makes the famous square pie properly and it tastes like it did in the 1980's. If not, I will be done with Alberts ! Because Albert retired and moved to Florida. This is a new owner. Other locations like Hauppauge and Ronkonkoma are TERRIBLE ! Nothing like Albert's famous. Garbage pizza from people who think that we don't remember or care. Nothing like original Albert's so I hope Copiague does not disappoint. But I fear they will be just as bad. I will change my review at a future date for better or worse once I taste their square pie.

There is none like Albert's!!! Food is delicious and the service is great. I have been enjoying their pizza and pasta for over 30 years. The owner is great and always there to greet you with a smile!! I recommend Albert's to everyone!!

Great small town feel. Recommend the Albert meal deal. $20 gets you a pie , 6 Knott's and 6 pepperoni rolls. The pizza is always hot and fresh.

I love Albert's pizza but in the past 2 weeks I've stopped by 3 times they were closed. A friend told me they were doing renovations. Ok at least put up a sign so customers know. Anyway, now that there open I went to get a few slices at 11:45 (they open at 11:00) and was told there won't be anything for another 20 min. I don't live close and running out of patience.

I love Albert's pizza I always order from here but yesterday day night one of your employees, a girl with short black hair thought it was hilarious to I guess lock the door and run away. It was defintly a few minuets before closing but she saw me, locked it, and then ran away. Then while I was sitting in my care about to leave she decided to runoutside laughing at me before getting in her car. She could have simply told me "we're closed" this choldish behavior and laughing at me is not appropriate at all.

My boyfriend showed me this place a little over two years ago, and from the 1st bite I was sold, I drive several towns just to pick it up because there is nothing like their square pies, nothing! My tastes buds looooovvvvvvvveee it, my hips not so much, but 100% worth the sacrifice. :)

The pizza is amazing. The manager was great however the two counter girls were horrible. One in pajamas the other playing with her hair the whole time.

Copiague Albert’s is the best of the locations IMO. They’re all good but if I want “Albert’s pizza” (square pie w/sauce on top of mozz), I go to Copiague. It’s a consistent, fresh product every time. Their sauce is DELICIOUS, their square pizza is in a league of its own. I’m craving it just writing this…. SO SO GOOD. There’s a lot of really great pizza on LI but none of them are Albert’s. IYKYK ;) Side note: This is a traditional pizzeria. There’s a long counter w/stools + a few tables but it’s not a restaurant.

Got a square pie delivered. Have been coming here since the early 2000's and the quality has been consistent. The wings and knots also hit the spot. A good reliable pizzeria. Delivery comes when promised.

Alberts is great!! I've been going there for years. Pizza never disapoints Its definitely a touchstone of Copiague.

I am not a person to complain without cause, but if a mistake is done more than once, its okay, but 4 times, that is quite a bit disappointing, the delivery order has been wrong 4 times by now, and to further notice, your drivers may be overwhelm by delivery, but leaving food sitting on the ground is quite upsetting, the 2 stars is just a commendation to the pizza you make, it's been delicious for 10 years, but the service is.... quite desiring to improvement.

Was told i had to get Alberts pizza when on Long Island. So i did and loved it .Wife grew up with it every Friday.

Was assisted by a girl with red hair was very rude and smoking. Food was cold and hard as well as the pepperoni knots. Don't recommend.

Wow. Good gawwwwwd, this pizza is delicious. I haven't had pizza like this since leaving Manhattan. This is true New York Pizza. I'm going back this week and getting a full pie, a dios mio 🤤

I have been going to Albert's Pizza Shop for over 30 years now & it is by far the best pizza I've ever had. I have never tasted any other pizza that compares to an Albert's square slice. It is truly a one of a kind pizza!!!!!

I am very happy they are still here during and after Covid.

The best pizza I've ever had!

I've been enjoying Albert's since I was a kid. I was back in town for a visit and stopped in for lunch. I was not disappointed, just as good as I remember. Friendly and quick service.
