Food was good. Service at the bar was horrible. The bartender was extremely rude and distracted with trying to end her shift. We had to keep asking her for utensils, ketchup and drinks. We've always had a good experience everytime we have come here but this time not at all. She was miserable. Then we ask for the check, we pay with a giftcard and the rest cash and she has the nerve to say something about the tip we left (complaining in plain sight with the mirror behind her and very loud) She is honestly lucky she got anything for the sub-par service we received. The whole experience was just bad. I have the bartenders name so we know not to sit at her side of the bar ..never again..

The staff is something you’ll never forget. Prices are good. Portions are more than you can handle. Delicious food and well made drinks. But the service and atmosphere is really what makes this place stand out. In a world where you can get good food in multiple places, the only thing you can’t replace is good employees. 10/10

Very pricey considering it wasn't that great ! Server and drinks were good but happy hour not extended to us. Dont think I'll be going back They did give us ,$10.coupon for future visits but passed it on to friends. Two of us ordered the spinach and artichoke dip that used to be phenomenal Very chunky and $16! Bartender told us we could sit at a table and still get happy hour specials. Advertisement ssid on Fb $2 off if a rum drink was ordered I had LIIT with rum in them.and was charged full price. Dont like to quibble so just paid the tab and left. Had one mozzarella stick which wasn't hot or cheese melted. My friends seemed to enjoy their wings though

Stopped in with a friend this past Wednesday to grab dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Beautifully decorated with a cheerful nautical theme, a friendly bartender served delicious, freshly made clam chowder loaded with tender clams, perfectly cooked Buffalo chicken wings and tasty baked clams. Good local beers on tap and a talented karaoke showman was getting everyone up to sing and dance - what a hidden gem! Can’t wait to go back and sing Christmas carols with the whole place and for the chowder, it was so good that I can’t stop thinking about it. Definitely check this place out.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! My cousin and I accidently stopped by last night 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. The bartender was perfectly fine with it and the food still came out super fresh and delicious! She was so personable and constantly checked on us. This is my new favorite little spot and I will definitely be returning!

The Shepard's pie was so gross my girl needed it off table. The look of it was making her sick. They put cheap booze in top shelf bottles. Food served after it it's prime. Good place for food poisoning. Oh the best ice has mold and fruit flies frozen in ice. Great coke bar drug fun if u that kind of looser. You will love it can still do lines on bar.

The food was very good. Go hungry, the portions are generous. The service was excellent. My only negative comment is the bench seats have no back support, too deep. That won't be an issue for some, but it was for me.

My wife had a chicken pesto sandwich which was fine. I had the steak tidbits which was small, chewy, and soggy. The French fries are the starch coated fries like Burger King sells. To me those are the worst French fries made.

Nice place, good atmosphere, friendly employees. I went with my girlfriend to see the band Bloody Sabbath. They were awesome! The place was packed out and sounded great. The bathrooms were clean too. I don't drink but I'll be back. I recommend.

The only good experience at this place was the server. The food was like eating dry hockey pucks, my husband had a hamburger which was definitely frozen box burger and I had the chicken pesto sandwich. The chicken was hard, overcooked and dry. I paid $6 extra for truffle fries that were undercooked and had no taste at all. Our friends had the pretzel which was loaded with salt and were asked do you need the dipoing sauces that come with it because if you don't eat it we don't give it. They also had a cheese quessadilla which was ckld and bland. Asked the same about the salsa and guac. The drinks were $14 each and watered dkwn and not made correctly. They had a seasonal drink menu and when asked for the fall sangria oh we haven't made any all week you can't have that. When I ordered the pumpkin espresso martini it was a watered down espresso martin with pumpkin spice all over the top tasted like sand. Awful experience don't waste your money. $200 check with bartender attitude and horrible food. The fact that you are arguing the point of how horrible our experience was instead of apologizing is review enough. I never said $14 was too much for a drink I said it was too much for the drink you privided and it was NOT made the way it was described on your menu. Also people in our group did go to the bar. Thank you for your reply I hope in the future you will think of customer satisfaction.

If I could give this place a zero I would. There was fruit flies in my drink. It took 20 min to actually get a drink. I was given an attitude when I asked them to re make my drink because of the fruit fly. Very unprofessional

I don't know what to say. The food was horrible. The drinks weren't even drinks. it didn't even taste like there was alcohol in them. The only thing that we liked was the waitress. Marge, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The music was good but it was so loud you couldn't hear the singer.

  • 5/5 Michael G. 1 year ago on Google
Simply awesome little spot! Live music was perfect. Get the PBJ burger, get the Guinness Burger, get the wings! Have it all. Place is great!

Rip tides cocktails and grill is a great place to relax and enjoy some tasty treats, with live music flowing cocktails and great atmosphere, it's a sure win for a great night and can't forget Katie behind the bar, a smile that goes a long way

First time there - really liked (almost) everything about it - the food - the staff - the entertainment music - the owner - the atmosphere- etc… Here’s the one thing that bothered me (and I’ve seen another comment with an explanation that I didn’t find acceptable.) When you get a mixed drink (vodka and coke) they charge you for the vodka ($7) and an additional $1.50 for the coke = $8.50 for the drink. NEVER HEARD OF THIS. I’m not cheap, but if I have three drinks, should I now order a glass of coke and then get 3 shots of vodka and an empty glass to save myself $3? It makes no sense. BUT I STILL LOVED THE PLACE! Also — a suggestion - on their FB page — I wish they’d list a daily entertainment activity for what they have, each night. I looked tonight (Friday) and couldn’t see if they had anything going on or not. Again, I don’t want to sound like a moaner - I really, really, liked the place! Jerry. - Lindenhurst

I was in town from Florida visiting cousins & they heard great things about this place, so we figured we would try it out! Well, it did NOT disappoint in every way! The decor and vibe is really cool with a beach/nautical theme. The food and drinks were delicious! The roasted brussel sprouts & the Shepherd’s Pie was to die for! Our waitress, Nicole, was great and funny! The bartenders, Joe & Katie, made amazing & different cocktails and were so warm & attentive! They had a one man band singing who was really talented! We even met the owners, Danny & C.J., who could not be more welcoming, friendly and attentive making sure we were having a great time and we were happy with everything! If I lived here, I would definitely come here often, and definitely will be returning on my next visit! Check this everything out for sure….and you’re welcome in advance!!😁👍🏼🍽🍹

Had a dish of linguine with white clam sauce. I ate some but wanted to take the rest home. When I heated it up the next day I had to throw it away. Full of sand. What is wrong with these people who do not wash the clams? Every bite was like eating a mouth of pasta and sand. I'm getting sick just thinking of it.

Really bad food. The cauliflower was burned to a crisp and inedible. The steak tidbit sandwich was so expensive for literally half a piece of bread with 4 small slices of steak. The fish and chips tasted like freezer burn. The fries were good. We went for lunch and no one was in there we got strange looks when we walked in and waited like an hour for the food. We did not eat all of our food. My husband ate my fish bc he was so hungry after waiting for so long for his tiny sandwich. You asked if we wanted a box for the left overs and we said no thanks. Don’t lie. I also tried to tell the server that the fries I paid $6 extra to have truffle butter were not truffle at all and she blew me off.

What a pleasant surprise in this little tucked away place... the food was absolutely delicious.. we were expecting more of a pub menu but they are a seafood restaurant that is delicious! We had fried clams , lobster tails, Chilean sea bass and crab cake.. everything was top notch and fresh.. not to mention the special cocktails!! Service was fast friendly and extremely efficient.. we have found our new place!

First time trying this place out. Food and drink were all fantastic (I'm still raving about my open faced steak sandwich - legit mouth watering - and omg that French onion soup!). My husband, sister in law, and mother in law all got alcoholic drinks (all of which I tried course!) and they were all great. Last but not least, the service was great. My 4 year old nephew loved our server (sorry I don't remember your name but you were awesome!) and even went as far as giving their Mac and cheese a BIG thumbs up. He said it was one of his favorite Mac and cheese. All in all, if I could give this place 6 stars I would and I look forward to coming back!!!!! Edit: forgot to mention we all loved the ambience. The way the place was decorated was beautiful and very much in theme. We all commented about it at one point or another. If you're debating on trying this place out, definitely try it. I'm certainly glad I did!

My bf and I just had dinner here. I will say that the place itself is nice, the waiter, great and the food was delicious. Everything was amazing, until getting the check to find that my bf was charged for the mixer to his rum and coke. Any time and any other place we've been to it's always been one price for a mixed drink, not one price for the alcohol and a separate price for the mixer! Totally turned us off. Quickly paid the bill and headed to support another local establishment that does not nickel and dime you! I understand times are tough and businesses are struggling but that was just petty and we won't be back.
