Amazing. When I walked in, the cozy atmosphere instantly made me feel at home. The menu had such a wide variety of mouthwatering options that it was hard to choose. But let me tell you, whatever you end up ordering, it will blow your taste buds away! I had the luxury of ordering their famous “Imperial Chicken Panini.” The panini was seasoned to perfection. Every single bite was pure bliss. But the service? Oh my goodness, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had the best dining experience possible. I will definitely be retuning.

Its a very good diner at lot of nice people, well priced food jn this market, 12 bucks for a chesse burger is great! Bar was nice Guy who ran it was super. Nice Bar tender did a great job I will be back

We've visited this diner more than a few times. Most recently, a few weeks ago. We've always had great service and food here at Imperial Diner at Freeport, NY. No complaints regarding the food and the staff.

The Imperial is a beautiful remodeled full service diner conveniently located in Freeport NY. Every meal we've had here has been fantastic, and the bakery treats are top shelf too.

We had a great experience here, my friends have been trying to visit this Diner for so long, we were fortunate to be hanging out together and finally decided to get some food there. This place has been around for such a long time it is our go to spot for breakfast and lunch the portions are big. The food is flavorful and fresh. If you go you have to try the omelettes. I highly recommend this place for a family or a couple or even if you're by yourself. there's Also a bar.

We had a great evening in this Diner, had lots of food and drinks options, we went for chicken salad and buffalo chicken wrap with champagne cocktail and Cosmo. Staff were very friendly and helpful 😃 Even took a picture of us. I would highly recommend this place great atmosphere with music and sports on lots of screens. The desserts are incredible and would go back again for one of those and plenty of ice cream choice too. Free parking on site which is always a bonus and nice booths to sit in. Like a diner should be. Hopefully we get back there before we leave from our vacation.

The thai chicken salad was pretty good, more soggy than I would like but would probably get it again. My friend got the burger, he said it was good. Two other friends got paninis and said they were amazing. However the chicken and waffles was less than average.

Brought my husband here for a birthday brunch. It was noon, the host greeted us kindly and we were seated quickly. Our waitress came shortly after, we order coffee, thick challah French toast deluxe. The slices are huge! I thought the price was fair for the portions and quality. I love the ambience, dinners are usually more sticky floors and menus. I gave 1 less star as there was lint or something in my syrup, the coffee was watery and the lightning where we sat was poor. Overall, would go back and recommend.

Wonderful ambiance...great food..good service ..free parking. Less entrees than my favorite diner. No bread and butter basket..less sides than I am accustomed too . Yet same price. It's nice place to go.

My appetizer was the baked clams which normally I do not like if it does not have the whole clam however this had chunk clam in it and it was quite tasty. I ordered the grilled salmon with sauteed spinach the salmon is cooked to perfection and it's really good didn't have to add any seasonings it is actually done perfectly. I'm highly satisfied with the meal I ordered here and this is the first time I've ever been here

I went there with my husband and this is our 2nd time going and the food is great the customer service is amazing. The atmosphere inside is very nostalgic. It makes me feel as if I'm in a diner from the nineties.

Always a positive family dining experience at Imperial. Our service was quick. We were seated promptly and served water and silverware. Soon after our waiter stopped by and took our orders for drinks and food. Our waiter customized our kids breakfast orders and was really sweet with our picky kiddos. Food was delicious. The pancakes were hot and fluffy. My husband enjoyed his corned beef hash and said the home fries from Imperial always hit the spot. We will definitely come back as we always do!

Came here for dinner and was greeted with the typical diner fare that any long islander would be use to, with a few other interesting options. I got the Boston Wrap, which was decent, but I've had better. My only real qualm was that I felt like the staff were rushing me to leave despite not having been sat for that long and the place not even being that busy. Would still like to come back and try some of the more interesting menu options, just hopefully at a more relaxed pace.

I love this place. They spilled hot coffee on me by mistake, and just kinda looked at me and shrugged. A good place to conduct business whether it be real or fake. Pancakes are great too!

I must say, one of the things i like about this diner other than most, is that you are not clumped together and cramped with other patrons, i hate that. It's roomy and spacious. The staff are very nice and keep checking on you to make sure you're enjoying the visit. I think i'll be back again soon to try some French toast or one of those delicious looking desserts. The food is okay. The service was great as always. The diner is really well decorated. Food came out at a decent time. However the food definitely lack in flavors. Salt and pepper had to be added to everything. Price however seems fair.

Disappointed that there was no pot roast or potato pancakes BUT the short ribs were quite good. Extra points for real mashed potatoes. Veggies were meh. Matzoh ball soup not great but not awful. My dining partner got a Belgian waffle with eggs and bacon. He was happy. The awful part was the carrot cake to go. Not cream cheese frosting but an icky faux buttercream. Sadly, into the trash it went. The sparkling point was the waitress Adrianna. She was soft spoken, attentive and unobtrusive.

As dinners go. This was really a good one. Was there for a meeting. Everyone ordered the turkey burger (different side). This was the best turkey burger I have ever had. I had a Cesar salad side, just the right size, not too large or too small. Had an adequate amount of dressing. Came with onionrings (not to oily), just enough dressing and adequate size. The service was very good, though we took our time ordering the young lady was patient and checked on us often. I would go there again for a meeting or with family or friends.

Hostess Olga is always sweet and very helpful, my waitress was a delight and my food as usual was hot and delicious I had a veggie burger deluxe comes w coleslaw & a pickle ginger ale w lemon left there stuffed & happy 😋

Only dined here for breakfast only but the food is authentic for Dinner cuisine and they graciously accept your recommendations, meaning they cook it as you like it. This diner looks really cool from the outside. Once you step inside, the experience is a bit diminished. The interior is designed to look sort of upscale, which comes off a little strange considering it's a diner. The food was just okay. No complaints about the quesadilla, but my friend didn't like his tuna melt. Service was good. Prices are just too high for what you are getting.

This is a very nice diner in Freeport, LI. The staff is very friendly and once you are settled into a table....a waiter appears ready to take your order. The menu is very robust and the food is very good. It is a great place for a family get together or even a quick business lunch. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. I have had a number of business meetings here and they have always been good ones.

Service and quality were fine. Our waiter was attentive and friendly without being annoying. I ordered the farmers omelette. This had bacon,ham and sausage mixed with egg. The home fries were very fresh on their onions and peppers. All on all a good meal. My only complaint would be the sticker shock. Glad we don't visit Long Island too often.

A diner with a bit extra (like 2 for 1 mimosas on Sunday). Chose this diner for its location as a meeting point with a friend. Was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and attentive, but not rushed, service. Not quite your typical diner and definitely worth a visit.

As far as Diners go this is one of the best. The food is always to perfection. The staff is always friendly. They are not the cheapest but they deliver for the price. I love their Dinner Specials!

Lovely diner with fair array of choices on the menu. I believe there was a full bar and amazing dessert fridge upon entering. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, but not awful. Very busy, this diner is American traditional in every sense as it sits in among a variety of culturally diverse eateries on the main thoroughfare.

Wow, what an amazing diner! The first-time visit wanted me wanting more. The menu selection was plentiful. The service was good. The food came...well, let me say I didn't have a chance to have a conversation with the party I was with. It was that fast. Now the fun part. The French toast, eggs over easy, and ham were scrumptious. That means it tastes out of this world! I could go on, but you get the point. Go to Imperial Diner in Freeport, NY. You won't regret it. My mother has been a patron of this fine establishment for many years and when I told her, she was very happy as well. Updating my review to 3 stars - 5 for excellent customer service! I will be back! Thank you! 8/3/23 $56.37 for a hardly filled chicken quesadilla that was cut in 3?? $ 16.95 A gyro sandwich with fries that didn’t even have a 1/4 lb of gyro meat in it. $17.95 2 strawberry cheesecakes $8.50 each Listen I know u need to raise prices after covid but this is a drastic cut of portion that no way matches the price. Very sad. My mom is a frequent guest here and she was so disappointed. I will not be going back anytime soon. Great food options, tasty, decent coffee. Went for breakfast with my kids, partner. and sisters. Good service. Very kid-friendly. The lady at the front desk who worked there asked me first and gave my kids a treat on our way out, which she didn’t have to do. Would go back. Omelettes were great size, home fries almost like French fries and crispy. Good portions, not excessive. Would go back. Overall cute place! Good size parking lot.

Was looking for somewhere different to eat, came across this Diner on google & the high ratings were accurate. Had the Roast beef and melted mozz hero ( on garlic bread) it was delicious! & big enough to split . Prices are very good as well. Will be coming back & recommend trying

This place used to be the best diner, now they change chef and beef company so it's not the same, now they serve poorly portions they're going down.

We always come here with my mother for coffee and dessert or breakfast. It is definitely on the pricy side and thus I would recommend to plan for this in advance. This is more for a special morning than a regular one. It's worth it though, the atmosphere is great.
