This is an absolutely amazing PetSmart. In my opinion it’s the best on Long Island. I got my Syrian hamster named Chester from that store location. If anyone is ever interested in getting a hamster you MUST see someone who works there named Nicholas. He is absolutely amazing at what he does, he is knowledgeable and is always happy to assist anyone. He helped me pick out the hamster that was best suited for me. My hamster and I are inseparable. If you haven’t checked out the West Babylon PetSmart I highly suggest you should!

I only go there on Saturdays when Veronica is working. She is amazing. I highly recommend!

Bring my dogs here for grooming every month or so, and buy all my supplies here.Eveeytime I walk in ,I am greeted with a hello and if they can help me with something...Two thumbs up

The friendly staff here love animals and are very knowledgeable. I visito to buy food, treats, toys, get grooming and training (all for my pet) and I never go without the pup bc she loves it there.

The store is always clean with healthy fish stock, again out of koi due to the season.

I bought a bag of Purina Pro Plan here on 11/6. When I opened it the next day, the bag was full of webs and maggots all throughout the food. I’ve never seen anything like it. My boyfriend and I returned the bag that evening, and the employee at the register could not have been less phased. She told us that there is an “infestation” in the store. Another employee walked by and pointed at the return at our feet and said, “Is it the worms again?” The cashier processed our refund and sent us on our merry way. I contacted PetSmart corporate that night and I’m absolutely shocked that no one has followed up to share measures that are being taken to mitigate this issue. After doing my own research, it seems that the store is suffering from an infestation of pantry moths, and continues to sell larva infested bags of food to unknowing customers - anything for a buck, huh, PetSmart? I wrote this review the day after we processed the return, but deleted it to give the store the chance to do the right thing and make contact about the issue. Clearly they don’t care enough for their customers in any regard. I will never shop at a PetSmart again and encourage others to do the same.

We love this store. The managers and staff are always cordial friendly and professional. It does not have that “ corporate “ feel to it , the employees actually care about their jobs. Manager Mike is always polite and helpful. Erin and Stephanie in grooming always make sure my dog gets in and are always accommodating. You can tell they love the animals and I trust them wholeheartedly with my pet. The store is always clean and well kept. Keep up the good work.

Best place for training your dogs. My trainer is Tommy he is great with my puppy and had made training so easy and enjoyable

VERY RUDE AS OF JUNE 23rd, 2023 at 10:15AM I call and ask about birds being in stock and the girl was really rude and hung the phone up on me‼️‼️‼️‼️ NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS

I dropped my pup off for bath and full haircut & my girl was ready in less than 2 hours. It was our 1st time at this location and it was definitely worth the drive. Antonia did an amazing job. My baby came out happy, beautiful, and smelling amazing. Everyone there is so friendly and all the pups we saw being groomed were so relaxed and handled with care/love.

I go once a week. Clean, easy access to products, fast check out!

My boy Oakley goes to Griffin to get groomed and he always comes out looking like a million! Griffin is also so compassionate with him and makes me so comfortable leaving my noy in his hands. Oakley loves him! 🐾💙 The whole staff is always so friendly and helpful with any questions you might have.

Great staff. The groomers are all excellent and their dog trainer Tommy has to be one of the best on Long Island.

I meant two nice woman in the grooming section of PetSmart in Babylon , very nice made me feel comfortable with my cat, they was very pleasant and most of all super knowledgeable on how to make me feel with my cat being there, and on the social side lol they was cool as f***

Got my dog groomed and honestly I think they did horrible. I plucked my dog when I got home and basically pulled a second dog. Then didn't do much at all. They didn't trim his paw hair. Nothing just a waste of money.

We had a bad experience with another dog grooming service where they didn't trim my dog's nails or dried him bc he was being " aggressive". At petsmart they didn't have any issues with my dog, and they were super friendly with him. He left there happy instead of stressful like at another place.

I love this store! Always has everything I am looking for and the staff is always amazing and helpful.

Do not take your dog here. I took my soon to be 12 yr old lab here and was told 2-3 hours. when I called after 2 1/2 I was told they took 2 express grooming appts in and she had to be pushed back. First of all I was never informed that this was a possibility and why would they do that to an older dog? It was clear she was nervous when she first got there. The groomer (who wasn't the one I signed up for btw) even mentioned why is she so nervous? So please do yourself a favor and do not take your dogs/cats here. It breaks my heart that we did.

I have been coming to this store for years. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable; I enjoy getting my pet’s supplies from them. Recently had an objectively awful experience with a pet (with no fault to the store); to which the staff was sincere, responsive, and helpful in assisting with—store manager Matt went above and beyond in a situation that was very difficult. I will continue to shop here for years to come.
