You have to be completely brain dead to make sandwiches with the bread upside down. I thought this was a mistake but no the executive chef Vinny made this decision. Anyone who’s brain is that broken should not be in charge of anything. I’ll be happy to discuss this display of ineptitude with anyone who supervises chef Vinny’s decision making.

Came to this store to shop for a customer. This fat guy with a dirty looking mustache followed me the entire time. As I shopped I would see him(the obese looking manager) from isle to isle clearly following me. I went to checkout, I was waiting in line, He was there.He came and directed me to a cashier, then asked me to empty out the contents of my bag. This guy literally followed me the entire time I shopped up to checkout. How creepy is that. I felt so unsafe, I called the cops. I also gave that (don’t know his name)fat poorly kept manager piece of my mind on my way out. I couldn’t stay to make a statement because I had a live delivery. I went about my business talked to the police and deliver the food. Later I called to talk to the manager. He was not the least bit apologetic and said they maintain the right to check bags. They didn’t check anyone’s personal bag but mine and followed me the entire time. That’s their policy apparently, highly intrusive and unwanted “customer service”.I hope that fat manager with the ill fitted clothes and nasty looking facial hair (sorry don’t know his name) gets the Karma he deserves for his awful service. I will be filling complaints on all platforms available. I do not recommend this business.

This store is addictive to shoppers! Beware! The deli, the cheese, the produce, the bakery - WOW! I stop by Uncle Giuseppe's whenever I am in New York. They make whole foods look like a seven-eleven. everything is fresh, displayed well, and the staff is always courteous and friendly. I usually spend more than I anticipate, but hey, this place is magic. This location had free parking, handicap spots, and is a great place to shop just for one or a crowd. Way to go, Uncle Giuseppe!

Wow just wow. An amazing super market with everything you can imagine. Lots of hot food too which is delicious. Will come here again and again they have fresh bread and a huge selection of olives. You name it they got it

Great place to pick up freshly prepared food to make your week easier. Variety of grilled chicken breast, lasagna, vegetarian choices, finger foods, my favorite rice balls, chicken wings. The produce department is always well kept. The carry my favorite dressing Walden Farms 0 cal fat free. Meat department is an endless array of product with ideas for dinner and lunch the same for the seafood department. Bakery department is also very well stocked. But be careful prices have gone up as everywhere else and the bill 💵 at the end will shock you 😱

Dirty! Found a large bug in my grilled broccoli head

Went here this morning good is good, store is clean, but customer service lac j s the professionalism, I was left standing for 2 minutes listening to 2 workers talk about what they did outside of work, finally get served, then before leaving, decided to get something else at the other end of the counter, this time I'm left standing there 5 mire minutes and even said can I get help, 15 people behind that counter and I am getting blank stares for asking for help, I spent over $100 for this treatment? Why? My $100 paid 5 of those people's wage for 1 hour and I was made to feel my business wasn't wanted, 15 people behind that counter and was ther was there 15 minutes. I was the only customer at the counter! I worked for local 342 for 30 years and Publix in Florida for 2 years where when evaluated after 1 year scored one of the highest ratings, so honestly know this needs to be addressed. Sorry guys, 2 out of 3 is not acceptable to maximize revenue, customer service needs attention, please fix it

I purchased fresh pesto and chicken sausage, but they have a huge variety of sauces, cheeses, meats and bakery goods. The cashier was very friendly and sweet.

Wow! The quality and selection is unbelievable. Shelves are fully stocked which I have seen since April 2020. Place was busy on a Saturday late morning

This place was simply amazing. From the variety of food offered to the overall shopping experience they just got everything right. You should and usually do expect to pay a bit more when you frequent a specialty place such as this and that is true here it is expensive but you do get the feeling that you are getting what you're paying for and when you get home you feel the same-everything is fresh and delicious. Visited this place on a Saturday they actually had a man walking around with a wireless microphone singing the entire time. When I say they focus on the entire shopping experience they really do from cleanliness to variety to quality it's an all-win package.

Always love coming here, aisles are small but staff is great! There was a blonde girl at the bakery who was very helpful and kind. There was a girl at the register who I see all the time brunette and always wears a smile on her face and kind! Amazing thank you!

The selection here is incredible. Prepared foods are just like homemade. Fresh pasta and sauce. Everything you need to entertain without doing all the cooking. Upscale grocery experience.

I go to Uncle G's often, for convenience, the Pane de Casa, the deli, the fresh fruit. Today, the prices were through the roof. I get it, to a point. But the reason I went was to get ground sirloin to make meatballs. Problem: the "ground sirloin" was fatty. It looked the same as lesser meat, and filled with fat. I spoke to the store manager. He was less than accomodating and had an attitude. Said it's been like that for 20 years. They haven't been in Massapequa that long, and before this the ground sirloin was red and lean, as was the sample in the butcher's case. Very disappointed.

One of the few places with Chocolate covered marzipan. Bought the Cherry Cheese Strudel which did not have any cherry in it. Somewhat embarasing as I brought it to a friend's home as an after dinner dessert.

HUGE shout out to Steven D. and Jessica P! I reached out to Jessica in regards to a last minute catering order for a memorial service. Jessica and Steven were so kind and understanding. They both worked to get the order together and delivered in less than half a day. So thankful for their help!

This is a great local deli with good breakfast and lunch sandwiches and friendly service. This is my go-to place for breakfast sandwiches and a quick coffee.

Usually never have issues here but today I experienced an especially rude and lazy staff. At the bakery it was a terrible inconvenience that I wanted to buy a cake. This caused the clerk to have to move... which she did in extreme slow motion making clear that she'd rather be anywhere but the bakery assisting a customer. She also mislabeled my cake so I'm hoping I have the right one. At main checkout there were no pleasantries and when I indicated I wasn't buying a bag to put my purchases in she was done with me. If you are at work and customer facing you have to at least pretend you're pleasant as a rep of the company. _____ Review update for bait and switch tactics. They have a great special for 50% off heros and sandwiches after 7:30. Problem is they put heros and sandwiches in this area under the sign that they will not discount. So you collect your food and get to the register and SURPRISE everything is full price. Very shady. Shame on you people.

No quality control for the chicken... I used to buy meats here and they used to be great, but the past few times I've purchased chicken here, the poultry is always spoiled (even the Bell & Evans brand) 👎🤢 gross something is wrong

When to check out the deli. Wow if you want a Italian deli with a lot of choice you have come to the right place. And the market has a lot to offer.

We really like their dinner special packages . We get numerous meals from them , and they taste really good . Highly recommend these "special deals." Staff very helpful in all areas of the store is a huge bonus .

Ultra nice marketplace to shop. Picked up a 3 lb Tomahawk steak, a pack of 8 hot Italian sausages, 1/2 pounder sirloin burger meat, beef steak tomatoes and fresh mozzarella to cook on my buddies grill for the ultimate lunch feast. Yummy!!!
