My best friend & her future in-laws hosted a bridal shower for her daughter on Sat here. After weeks of planning, they booked out the entire restaurant for this special event. Friends & family attended from near & far to celebrate, the event was perfect with the exception of an extremely rude server. While the food was good, the service was not. She did not look happy to be working. She mumbled that we messed up her order by switching seats. She tossed a fork on the table because she was in such a hurry. She didn't follow up with us at all to see if we needed anything. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but this is her job. There are plenty of other Italian restaurant with good food & better service.

I’ve been dining here for years and the food is always amazing. Joe’s dishes are amazing and fresh. Appreciate the staff and love the bar atmosphere.

This is my new favorite Italian spot. Cozy, friendly and AMAZING FOOD!!!!! Everything I ordered was outstanding. The server was Mike and he gave us awesome service. Their special cocktails were incredible. Live entertainment was a great. The food is worth every penny. Generous portions and enough to bring home. Love, Love, Love. 5 star all day long!

I had the best experience while dining here for a table of 1! My server, Elyse treated me like a queen. I really felt well taken care of despite the super busy stir day evening. The food was very delicious and the manager stopped by and asked me how I was. He thanked me for my service. Meanwhile I was listening to live music playing. What a great fun, peaceful atmosphere! We decided to have Sunday dinner at Bacaro and it did not disappoint. Delicious food, drinks were strong and dessert delectable. The Thai Calamari appetizer was great. It can definitely serve about 4 people. I had the Sunday Sauce. There was enough for 3 people so I got leftovers😉 He had raviolis and devoured the entire plate. For dessert we shared a slice of Almond Tiramisu which was washed down with a smooth Latte. The service was superb. The last few restaurants I've been to can get pointers from Baraco for being pleasant, friendly, clean and attentive. It's a finely run operation.

First time here. We'll be back again. Loved the Sunday Gravy with meatballs and sausage. The sauce was excellent. Not too sweet, but rich. Shrimp over zucchini noodles was also first rate. The portions were enough to take some home without being huge. We got right in on a fairly busy Sunday and were seated immediately. The service was also top notch, our waiter was very accommodating (unfortunately I don't recall his name.)

It's a busy place, great for family dining. They have plenty of bus boys and waiters. The food is very good. It taste like grandmas food. Their homemade gravy is fresh and delicious.

I was introduced to Bacaro during a RED networking meeting. They provide a great variety for lunch at a discounted price as well as the full menu. Service is always friendly and the food is really good. My favorites are the Italian Thai Clamari and the Ribs which are tasty and fall off the bone tender, served on a delicious cole slaw.

Wow. Just wow… I’m here now, just finished my food. This was one of the most incredible meals I’ve ever had! The boneless short rib with risotto was to die for… The service was top notch as well. My senses were completely consumed by the perfect array of flavors and textures. I savored every bite. The portions were huge so one meal on my wife and I left us more than satisfied! I’d drive an hour from Brooklyn to come here…

While visiting family and friends on Long Island I came here to eat one night. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The service to great. Atmosphere was great too. The meals were BIG portions, enough that I had leftovers the following night. The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned. It was my friends first time here that is a local and he was impressed how good everything was. I HIGHLY suggest this establishment if you are looking for good eats locally. TIP: Make reservations in advance.

Baccaros has the best food combining classic Italian dishes in a unique way like their eggplant meatballs. You can have traditional but instead broaden your palate with zucchini flowers and try the amazing pasta combinations. They take a great burger put cold lobster salad and candied bacon its unbelievably good. So expect a crowd and make reservations because it's priced well.

The food was very very good, the drinks were good, and the service was lovely. They do shove way too many people into a small area and it seems like there were no concerns of covid in there. Overall a good experience, I would go again but try to choose a night where they are not too busy.

Worst Birthday celebration! Tried to celebrate my husband's birthday with 12 of us. They sat us with 2 highchairs on the border of the bar on a Saturday night. We arrived at 5pm and plenty of open tables in the back where we would have been alone... But instead our night was ruined by bad service and a nasty owner who said to me "didn't you know it's crowded on a Saturday night!". I felt horrible for my 85 year old mother in law who just wanted her entire family to be together. Bad service, inedible pizza, cold dinners and desserts so tiny and overpriced! Will never return.... Pretty sure there were multiple fire violation codes... If you ever had an emergency.... You'd never get out the door...wall to wall people!!! .. So disappointing!!!!

Bacaro's hosted my daughter's bridal shower and it was a happy success. The food was delicious, the salad was fresh and crisp, and the macaroni (pasta) was tasty and al dente. Did I mention the owners and staff were extremely helpful and attentive? It was a pleasure doing business with Bacaro's Italian Tavern. Oh, and yes. I have been to Bacaro's for dinner before and each time the food and service were fabulous.

We had my son’s 1st birthday party at Bacaro’s this past Sunday and they did a fabulous job! The waitresses and bartender were so friendly and helpful, the food and service were amazing and the catering manager made everything so easy for us! Thank you guys so much!

I’ve been here a few time and I can say the food here is always on point. The menu is very creative; lobster baked clams, chicken Parmesan stuffed ravioli, the Sunday gravy with short rib meatballs just to name a few! The sauces are always cooked to perfection and the ingredients are very fresh. My only complaint would be the burrata in my burrata salad with caponata and artichokes was a weird texture. It didn’t have the creamy, bursting, oozing texture that I’m used to but other than that the salad was delicious. I’ve never tried caponata and I was definitely in awe of the balance between heartiness and freshness. Bacaro is a great addition to our town! Thank you to the wonderful staff and culinary team!

The food is amazing. The service was so bad my fiancée and I almost walked out. If you’re not a local the bartenders basically ignore you. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes and not one of the tree bartenders on duty asked if we wanted a drink. We were sitting near the beer taps and the female bartender splashed beer all over beer. She never noticed she did. We had to ask for a napkin. The we had to get the attention of one to place a drink order. Then again to order food. The female bartender was too busy having shots with her friends then taking care of customers that simply wanted drinks and food. Our check was $100.00. The service was so bad I left only a $5.00 tip. If you go there, get take out. The service SUCKS!

Went for dinner with girlfriends recently, everything was so great. All of the food was so good, our server was kind and attentive. After dinner we went to the bar for cocktails, amanda and Jess were a lot of fun and really nice, they kept the signature cocktails flowing! Highly recommend!! I’ll definitely be back!

Had two for dinner and we had a great time. Started with drinks at bar, try the pumpkin martini. Server was great, he new menu items well and how they are prepared. The dishes we had were great and neither of us could finish, leftovers for the next day.

Going on a Saturday night for the 1st time probably wasn't the best idea. It was very loud, very crowded and chaotic. Trying to get silverware and plates for the bread wasn't easy to do because everyone working there were running around like ants on a picnic. I'm glad it wasn't a 1st date dinner date. The music was terrible what I could hear. The lead singer "killed" a couple of songs. Now, the food was fantastic and our waiter, Angelo, was one of the best I've ever had. If I ever go back there again which I probably wouldn't unless I'm with a bunch of drunk people looking for good food and not caring about everything else.

9 people at our table. Everything was outstanding. We were all very happy with our food! Chris was our server and was on top of everything! Joe, the chef came out and introduced himself and asked about our appetizers. They were incredible. So sad I had to travel 700 miles for a meal second to any restaurant I have eaten in. Many choices and the platters, for each person had more food than we could eat. No idea about their desserts because we were all stuffed and took food home. I highly recommend this place, but go hungry. The food is awesome and plentiful.

We had appetizers last time we were there since Covid and ate Outdoors in their tent. The apps tasted very good and the waiter was polite. We will be going back for their ladies night price-fixed meal on Wed. Nights. The Inside tables were all taken due to a private party and that worked out well because I felt better eating outdoors.

Really nice place! Food really good, nice ambiance. Amanda, the bartender how sweet and attentive she is!! In a really busy Saturday night she makes you feel welcomed and important she pays attention to you all the time! Live music! A really nice place to go! I order a homemade lasagna and a ruby red martini! Really good, high quality food.. highly recommend!

Been here often. The food is always delicious. Portions are very generous. The only problem is deciding what to order!! Every meal I've had here is excellent. Friendly, professional servers.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming,staff friendly! Bathroom very small but very clean! Extremely busy all week/weekend long! Be sure to book a reservation! They also have huge heated tent in parking lot with lots of seating. They have a band every weekend which is always awesome! The food is amazing,really delicious and good! Big thumbs up for the CHEFS!!! Last be sure to bring alot of $$$ they have ATM also! All beers are $8.50 and plus!! Mixed drinks are $13 and plus! Food is expensive but worth every penny trust me!!!

I consider myself a foodie, and I have left only a few reviews in my life. I give this place a 12 on a scale of 1-10 and it is one of my favorite go to restaurants here on Long Island. I must comment on this amazing restaurant. Live music most nights, great bar, great dining room, tent out back, and the food is always great. Never had a bad meal. Family owned, same people have been working here for a long time, and if you need to change up a dish, you can, they are very accommodating. From the owners to all the staff, everybody is happy, and I've never had a bad meal.

WOW!!! Went fir the first time with friends. We arrived early and sat in the bar area; it is friendly lively and fun. Great music performed by Jimmy Gallagher. When we sat at our table Andrew our waiter was very friendly, attentive and helped with suggesting appetizers and dinner. He not only knows the menu well but also good preparation. For appetizers we had lobster baked clams, eggplant meatballs, stuffed zucchini flowers and calamari. Not one was just ok; they were all AMAZING!!!! The eggplant meatballs are indescribably fantastic!!! BE FOR-WARNED THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE!!! After a nice break our dinners were served. Again, HUGE portions of fantastic food! We were all stuffed to the gills but we ordered one of everything on the dessert menu, those were normal sized portions and equally as delicious as the appetizers and food! My favorite was the chocolate cake, not sweet at all. Between the food, the staff and atmosphere Bacaro really knows how to make you relive your Italian childhood and makes you feel like family! We will be back!!! Ciao
