What an awesome Dinette! They had a nice menu, huge choices for breakfast. The food and service were great. Cool place to eat! Next time, I'm getting the Pulled Pork Cuban Sandwich!

Finally had the opportunity to have a breakfast here and it was delightful! Small place, so be prepared to wait - it IS worth it. Staff is friendly and attentive. The Idaho was deliciousness on a plate! Very recommended, hope to return again soone when not touring!

Nice 50’s dinette feel/atmosphere. Unique options like smiley pancakes. But, the Homemade chips were burnt. We would give another try when we are in the area for lunch though.

I don’t feel the food here has ever been much to rave about. Like others in their reviews, I don’t see the hype nor reason to wait long periods of time to eat at this place. Yes it’s cute, homey and quaint but I think I may have had my last breakfast there. Ordered an omelet. When it arrived I was disappointed on the appearance. The brown, overcooked, round omelet ( edges tucked in and squared) looked like a dirty potholder next to very bland-looking potatoes. All served on a small plate. Everything tasted as dry as it all looked. The omelet was hanging over the edge of the plate, with a small amount of potatoes (maybe because the plate size). For the price I paid (13.00), I feel that the quality did not even come close to having a satisfied experience.

Glen's Dinette is surrounded by Neighborhood Charm that extends into the dining area. The food is typical with one shortcoming that could easily be fixed... Food: 2/5 - The few times I've visited for breakfast the food has had an aftertaste that comes from the grill not being really clean when it's cooked on. For example on today's meal, the sausage had that taste. To test, I cut off the outsides and ate it. The taste was not present. It could also be tasted in the home fries and the eggs. My spouse noticed the same thing. It has a greasy taste and the scrambled eggs had a dull look. Service 4/5 - Attentive and because of the size of the restaurant they are always close by. Refills of coffee were no problem. Ambiance 4/5 - The booths are comfortable and you get the feel that you are nestled in a local staple of the community. Glen's has been around for quite some time and the walls are decorated with photos and knickknacks from the past. Seating is limited so if you go at a peak time there may be a wait. Value - 3/5 - Not too expensive. Cleanliness 2/5 - Aside from the aftertaste issue in the food, the restrooms are basically clean but you can tell their is some grime in the grout on the floor. The restaurant isn't' filthy but it's far from spotless as could be witnessed at the server area just outside the restrooms. Parking 2/5 - Depending on when you go, it can be tricky if you're not familiar with the area. There are metered spots right outside that only accept coins. There's a lot across the street which technically is for customers visiting stores in that lot. Parking there isn't likely to be a problem. The lot is pretty big near the back of it. There are some other free parking areas in walking distance if you look them up on your favorite map app. Overall 3/5 - The food is the thing thing keeps me coming back repeatedly. However I must say, that this place does some brisk business for the locals so perhaps that "greasy spoon taste" is just fine for you. For me, I probably will visit again in a year or two to see if things have changed. It's a place I would really like to be a regular at if the food taste issue was fixed. Top 1 Recommendation for the restaurant: Make sure there is a regimented process around cleaning the grill and frequently changing out frying oils.

Been coming to Glenns for years. Love the quaint “homey” atmosphere. With all the big overpriced and over hyped flashy diners out there, this place is a welcome respite. The owners are usually on the premise and are friendly and attentive as is all the staff, many who have been there for years. The food is simple but really flavorful and well presented. Coffee never stops. Love to bring my family and friends here. Yes, sometimes a bit of a wait but, worth it and seating is usually quick. This is one of those special, locally owned mom and pop type diners, that are quickly disappearing from our small towns and villages. Gotta check this out! ❤️

What an amazing intimate breakfast spot. Food was delicious, large portions and friendly staff. Sat at the counter and had a view of the cooks which was cool to watch. Can’t wait to come back, and try lunch!

Our favorite for over 30+ years! Every time we come to Long Island from Florida to visit our old stomping grounds we put it on our "must do" list. Great staff and the blue monkey pancakes and cinnamon raisin French toast are our fan favorites!!

Talk about a breakfast staple in Long Island!!! Conveniently located in the heart of Babylon next to all sorts of stores, this is THE spot for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast it's a must to get the Idaho, it's their specialty plate filled with home fries, bacon, shallots, cheese, and two eggs on top. Yummmmmm

I love coming to Glen's when I can. I came here for the first time with my ex-husband when I lived in Babylon with him, now I go with one of my friends who lives here when I visit. They are never a disappointment for breakfast. It used to be cash only but they take cards now. You will not regret coming here!

My wife and I love this place so much that we made it a tradition to be here every Friday morning before work. It's always busy but there's always a table. We quickly get our order taken by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They always have interesting specials. I'm always looking forward to what they might have next.

Like being with my siblings I know them since day 1. That was like 35 years ago now. Pajama breakfasts on Saturday back in the day. Everyone had their own personal coffee cup...

Love Glens, food is amazing. Staff is friendly and attentive. We had breakfast and had the Banana Nut French Toast… amazing. They have a Thanksgiving on a Roll that is great so definitely come for either breakfast or lunch back! Great addition to Babylon Village

Best Cuban sandwich around. Seriously, it’s not to be missed. The food is good in general and the place is cute. I’ll say this though, the waitresses (one or two in particular) don’t ever crack a smile or great you warmly. It’s just like a cranky waitress from an old timey movie. They often rush you out of there and usually give a full table of people just one menu to share.

Their waffles and chicken special was one of the best we have had! The corned beef hash was perfectly browned. We left pleased with all our dishes. Wait staff was pleasant and stayed on top of coffee. We will definitely visit again if in the neighborhood.

Not sure why this place gets 4+ stars. The food is bland, fruit cup had overripe fruits and with a piece of tosted onion on it. The capuccinos were lattes. The pancake is what you expect it to be but nothing to rave about. I get that they are busy on a saturday morning but I had to ask 3 people to get a cup of water. And in the end you leave the place smelling like you were in the kitchen cooking.

Best little dinette on Long Island! They make really great breakfast and lunch items. The thanksgiving on a roll is my favorite. The staff and owners are super nice, great service and the food is always on point. You wont be disappointed.

The best diner in all of New York hands down. This institution has been here since the beginning of time. Behold me and Matty Rock visit !!

Update: Food is good. Homemade goodness. Try the hash! I had the Apple Spice French Toast. It was very tasty and sweet enough to not add syrup. When it comes to payment, cash is king unless you want to pay the 2% fee to use your card.

Almost no need to review Glens, everyone knows about this gem. I’ve been going to Glens since it opened, great family run dinette. The owners Happy & Chrissy are great people. Great breakfast and lunch, or just pop in for a coffee. Go once, and you go for life.

The best 💙 Blueberry Pancakes 🥞😋 I've ever had! Real, fresh Blueberries! They put so many Blueberries in the Pancakes. Real juicy, round, fresh Blueberries. They're not cheap about it either. They put so many Blueberries in my Pancakes that I'll never forget them. 😋 Yummy!

Best kept secret on Long Island. Everything is home cooked. Try the Wavos Ranchos. They take pride in their product and it shows. Never disappointed

I love Glen’s, I have been coming here for my entire life. Everything about it is amazing, it’s the best diner around. I love all the food, but the pancakes are just absolutely phenomenal.

OMG! Glen's has been a Babylon-staple for I don't know how long. There isn't anything on the menu that I wouldn't recommend and absolutely love the home-made hash! Just don't order it well-done - they flatten it like a piece of paper. If you want the outside more well-done you have to be very specific about how you like it. Otherwise, food is AMAZING! There is often a long wait on the weekends so wander to Babylon Bean first to get a good cup of coffee while you wait to be seated at Glen's. Absolutely worth any wait!

The best old fashion dinette you will find in NY. Been around since the 40's I went for the 1st time 10 years ago, I asked the couple next to me Whats good here? They said EVERYTHING! And they were right. Priced right, breakfast and lunch only and if you don't get there before 12 on Sunday... you need to wait till next week

Don’t know why it’s a Babylon favorite -unless Babylonians don’t eat out often. This place lacks actual flavor and food is mediocre at best. I tried a regular chicken Sandwich bc I figure how bad could they mess this up? Well my chicken looked like Weaver chicken and tasted like a bland chicken strip with lots of grease. Would not recommend
