It’s a amazing place near by NYC , amazing view , clear beach , less waves so you can go with your kids . A lot of seagulls there . Sunset is really amazing there . You can do boating, kayaking fishing 🎣 and all that , if you don’t drive you can take Long Island Rail Road to go there , there is station nearby. Very nice place to go with family and friends.

September 2022 I was just passing through the area, but I stopped for about an hour to take a stroll on a beautiful September evening. You have to be an Oyster Bay resident to enter but there was nobody at the entrance when I was there, so I got in. Very clean and peaceful with nice views of the bay.

Great park by the water. Kids play area plus basketball, volleyball, tennis courts and much more. Plenty of benches along the water to sit and relax.

Loved the park! We had a triathlon race there organized by Event Power on 8/27/2023. Beautiful water views, nice grounds and well maintained. There is a trail that goes along the shore line and it is perfect for running! 🏃‍♂️

On the shoreline of Oyster Bay. This is a wonderful place to visit. The park, beach, walkways, boats, boat slips, trees, sports courts, and ample parking all make this place a treasure in town. Give yourself time to walk around and stop by the food court building for a bite to eat and grab a cool drink. 😎 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲😎

A beautiful natural area in the Town of Oyster Bay. During the fall the town has an oyster festival in this park. After not having it due to the pandemic it is back. It was free to access, with a lot of food vendors, entertainment, and rides. A lot of fun for all ages.

Dropped off some food at the Soup Kitchen in Oyster Bay. "People Helping People" Oyster is Beautiful and Historic. A Hop Skip and a Jump from Glen Cove..the monument is beautiful and don't forget when you visit to stop in at Billy Joels Motorcycle Garage Museum..you may get Lucky and catch him there.💃🌞🇺🇸

We went for the art in the park event. It was a little underwhelming, but this was the first time they had it, hopefully next year it will be a bit bigger. Lots 9f free things for kids to do and some good bands on the stage. The park itself is really nice having both grass and beach area, although the sand contains pebbles.

A large park near the Oyster Bay downtown harbor and marina. There are sandy beaches, a number of sports fields, and spots for picnics. There are some excellent views of the Long Island Sound, and during summer months the harbor is filled with boats of all kinds. The views are especially beautiful during sunset.

Family friendly park with a beautiful turf field, tennis court, basketball court, handball court, and 2 play grounds! During the summer there is a food stand aswell as 2 vending machines for drinks. My only complaint would be that the handball court needs to have the lines redone, and the basketball court backboard is deformed other than that its great.

As a mere pauper from Brooklyn, I journeyed exceedingly far to reach this park, sitting through an hour of traffic on my trip. Little sooner did I hobble to the gates of this luxurious looking natural beachscape than did my eyes set upon the sign that did declare: “OYSTER BAY RESIDENTS ONLY. ID REQUIRED FOR ENTRY.” My excitement to see the water was crushed under the boot of privatization. As a plea to the town administrators and residents of Oyster Bay: I would hope that you realize how spiritually harmful it is to live in an exclusive little bubble. Access to the natural world is everyone’s birthright, and spaces like this should be available to all. Even if you want to charge an entry fee, that would be better than turning people away altogether.

One of my favorite places ever. Great as an arrival point when you run or cycling from other areas. This such a great place to go for kayaking, fishing, or just read a book. Beautiful beaches! You have to go there definitely.

Beautiful park along the Oyster Bay waterfront. There are 2 playgrounds. A ballfield. Paved walkways for those with strollers or wheelchairs. Several bbq areas that are covered. Large public restroom. Walking distance to Main Street.

The park is overall beautiful. However, the water (even though you can swim) is murky at best. The playground is updated and fun for my kids. There is good food in the surrounding area, such as Tabbys (possibly the best burger on Long Island) and some seafood spots.

Today I was headed to the waterfront center for a kayak rental and two employees from this park came out and demanded our IDs, told us we weren’t allowed to walk to our rental, and called a public safety officer to follow us to the rental spot to make sure we didn’t “trespass”. It’s one thing to have a private park but you don’t get to police the area and public businesses around it. workers are on a TOTAL power trip. (waterfront center is great this review has nothing to do with them)

We went to the Oyster Festival, it was good, but not what we remember in past years before Covid...

Very beautiful park. People can walk up to the water without getting sand in their shoes since the water front is not that sandy. It's very serene and peaceful.

Great park. Love the huts with indoor outdoor coal chimneys so if it rains your bbq keeps going

Teddy Roosevelt Park and Marina is a great place to visit. The entire park is always clean and well maintained by the town of oyster bay employees. The views of the bay and harbor are fantastic. There are numerous paved paths to get your walking or jogging in. There are a number of courts open to the public, including basketball, tennis, and volleyball. There are playgrounds on the premise also. The marina is well maintained, but slips are only available by lottery I believe, to town residents. In the off-season, residency is not checked so anyone can come and enjoy the park. The downtown area of oyster bay is a "stone's throw" away, so you have everything from breweries to high end restaurants available after your visit to the park.

Loved it. I have been going her for many years. The beach looks beautiful and always well kept, the water scene makes you think you are in a postcard. I used to bring my friends kids here when they were young.

We come here quite often. It's a clean/well maintained private park. It has two jungle gyms, tennis courts, football field, basketball courts, beach front. Just about everything you can ask for. Highly recommend if you live in the town of OB

A small, beautiful park next to the American museum history. Mostly locals go there to walk their dogs or meet friends before going to the museum or Central park. I always stop by when i am in the area, grab coffee, people watch a bit & appreciate the tulips especially at spring time.

This park renovated and right next from the bay. Since my kids was 5 years old for kick board, walking, skate boards and now one of my kids uses a wall ball for practice her volleyball 🏐. There's boat decking area next to wallball. And tennis courts next from wallboard. And more! You name it!! Sunset will be another enjoyable 😉 Have a wonderful day at Roosevelt Theodore Park!!

If you aren't a person who likes the ocean this is the beach for you. The park area is clean and well maintained. It is not crowded. The bathrooms aren't very clean. Parking is spacious.

Absolutely beautiful here, very clean, it’s small enough so you don’t get lost and big enough so you don’t feel overcrowded, plenty of parking and lot of cops around so you feel safe, you can sit of grass or on sand by the beach, very clean restrooms near the beach, lots of food places just few minutes drive away!

Awesome late afternoon visit. Good size to walk around and take some pictures. Not too crowded but its the end of the summer, I could see it will pack people in during the warmer days.

Nice place to have some quality family time. It has a little beach, kids playground, some nice places to enjoy sunset. But it’s better to stay until 8 pm, because after that it’s a bit hard to stay there for mosquito & insects. Over all I liked it.
